Very very beautiful hotel, the third time to visit Florence, this time with my father-in-law, find this hotel is really happy, but need to be convenient for driving, there is a parking lot downstairs, very good, very good parking, breakfast is awkward, Great, and fruity

We visited Hu Camping because it had the services we wanted whilst being really close to Florence. Check In could not have gone any easier. Really polite staff. We asked to upgrade our mobile home but there were none available until the end of the week. So we didn't bother. We drive to our home and noticed it was clean and well maintained. There were people gardening, cleaning all the time. Got to the mobile home and things were not ideal, utensils missing and a ladder to the bunk bed. We went to reception to ask about the missing things and the majority of what we needed was sent to us within an hour with huge apologies. It was an older mobile home but it was clean and ready for us to put our feet up. Having two bathrooms was really good with a family of 5. It was 37°C outside and the air conditioning worked well. We took a fan with us so it moved the air around a bit more. But we left it on during the day, with the interior doors open and the rooms were nice and cool. We used the restaurant, the service was really good and they were busy. It's a good idea to book. We had booked for 9pm and a couple were ahead of us in the queue when we arrived, they asked for a table and were told they'd have to wait 45 minutes. The food was tasty and fresh. Not overly expensive, considering some places nearby or other European cities. We used both pools, the kids one was a little cold but my boys (8, 13, 15) didn't care. Around the pool was clean and well maintained, there was enough shade if needed and a lovely olive grove section away from the pool for lots of shade. The pool bar was well equipped and the staff were friendly. The main pool was busy but people still had space to throw a ball or jump in. It's not there for doing lengths. The onsite shop was fine, it's not big, so we used it when we had to, otherwise there was a decent sized Coop not too far from the site (driving distance). The other bits were good, bike hire (although get there early), laundry services were great, the volleyball/football pitch needs updating but it was fine. The location is just outside the city. There was a bus to the centre from the campsite but we didn't use it. We drove and parked in underground parking in the city. All very easy. I had preconceptions about how it was going to be but I was really surprised with how good it was. And the staff were really polite and helpful. I would happily go back to visit it again.

We wanted to celebrate our 50th anniversary with our family and looked for a place near Florence. Villa la Massa was recommended to us along with several other places. We researched for a long time and decided to choose Villa la Massa for our celebration. We had our three married children along with five grandchildren, ages ranging from 3 to 16. Our week at Villa la Massa exceeded all of our expectations. The staff was friendly and exceedingly helpful. There was never a hesitation in meeting our requests. The rooms were spotlessly clean (my most important criteria), very spacious and beautifully decorated. The food was delicious and the chefs bent over backwards to accommodate our many dietary needs. Their shuttle service was very convenient, taking only 20 minutes to get to and from Florence. It was the best of all worlds having such easy access to the city and a beautiful pool and grounds for all of us to enjoy. For the kids there was a great climbing adventure park about 40 minutes away and lots of small towns to explore nearby for the adults. It was extremely hot (95 - 100 degrees) so we spent a lot of time at the pool (connected to a baby pool). All 13 of us had a vacation we will never forget.

We had the most wonderful stay here. The views are absolutely breathtaking and the whole place is beautiful and relaxing. The apartment (cipresse) was lovely with its own private garden and bbq. What really made our holiday outstanding were the wonderful staff - Francesca is a fabulous and lovely chef and we will never forget our family cookery class making ragu and gnocci. Tomasso was a great waiter, kind and helpful and we appreciated our Italian lessons. Valbona was so helpful and we have come home with plenty of the divine gin! Thank you for a lovely stay- we will be back!

The hotel is a little far from the old town, but it provides a shuttle bus, and the room facilities and hygiene are good. For the fans, there is another good thing. The Florence team will settle in the hotel one day before the home game. We were fortunate to meet and take photos with the stars.

Thank you :) Our experience at the hotel was great. In many ways this hotel was ideal for us, it wasn't right in the city center where all the noise is, but it was close enough to it (about half an hour's walk to the train station with a suitcase and bags). The hotel staff was excellent, very kind and respectful with lots of good and efficient advice. The room was spacious enough and clean and we didn't lack anything. One weak point was for us and it was the bed which was a double bed but, it was connected by two mattresses, and an air conditioner that worked but made a lot of noise. In conclusion, if you don't mind walking to the city center (I strongly recommend everyone to walk and not use public transport, there is a lot to see on the way :) ) And you are looking for the hotel staff to be nice, polite, experienced, know the surroundings and know how to give you tips, this is the hotel check for you. The hotel is within walking distance from the Cathedral/ historical city. The hotel has parking space available that needs to be booked in advance. We had big room with view on the garden. It was quite, nice and clean. The room we had has also kitchenette. If next time in Florence I will first try to book room in this hotel.
