A positive surprise!
We didn't expect the drinks in the room to be free. This was equipped with cola, water, apple juice and beer.
Of course we were very happy about the attention.
In addition, the wellness area with the small sauna, 4 showers and 4 loungers is small but nice and was just as nicer as imagined.
The room is modern and functionally furnished. It also has comfortable beds for a restful sleep.
I am very sensitive to noise and found the hotel very pleasant.
The only thing where there is still some room for improvement is the cleanliness in detail. Even if everything seems very clean at first glance, at second glance you can see that, for example, the finish in the shower was not cleaned in the crack, as was the rain shower.
The floor probably hadn't been mopped for a long time. We later recognized it from our socks, but we couldn't see it with the eye.😅
The location of the hotel is great, Kaufland and many restaurants can be reached quickly by the river. The Asian restaurant opposite Kaufland is particularly recommended. Cheap and tasty. ☺️
You can also get to the old town on foot.
Overall, the positive part of this hotel outweighs the negatives. You can also ignore the small hygiene deficiencies.
Price-performance fits here. 👌

Will not go again. Unfortunately we did not experienced a great experience with their upfront payment & cancellation policies for which I can not write a positive review and for which reasons not again.

The hotel was in a great location in this quaint town. Very clean though we found it quite austere for the price. The breakfast is great and worth the price. Very nice and kind gentleman working in the evenings. Lady working in the morning is clearly not a fan of guests - though maybe she's better with Germans and just doesn't like foreigners.

The property was very nice but had a couple quirky things. The shower had only half of a "door" and water got all over the floor. The room key must be inserted to use the lights. When you insert it, a red light comes on. You can then turn on the switch for a bright light, but you can't turn the red light off. This is not nice fofr sleeping. When I called the reception to ask how to turn of the red light, it was 11:15pm and the person just hung up on me and didn't give me an answer - odd. So I removed the key card and went to sleep. Some of the personnel was not so friendly, and also sometimes hard to find. They were however helpful about the important things.
But the breakfast is great and the hotel is very nice and clean and they have nice little welcome snacks and water.

The beds are very comfortable, but this is by no means a 4* hotel:
- They shut down the lights in the lobby at 11 pm (--＞ you can't even sit there anymore unless you want to sit in the dark)
- They only clean the rooms every 3 (!!!!) days
- There is no door on the shower cabin, so when you shower, the bathroom floor gets wet
- 55" TV, but about 40 German channels and the other channels are all news channels; no possibility to screen cast from phone/ use netflix/ ...
- breakfast is VERY overpriced. it's not a bad breakfast, but most definitely not worth 17€ and also not worthy of a 4* hotel IMO. Labels at the breakfast buffet indicate there used to be other things there, but it seems this is no longer the case.
All in all I get the feeling that this hotel lacks proper management with attention to detail. The hotel is probably not receiving as many guests as originally expected and hence service has gone down. The decoration on the wall in the lobby indicates there once was a restaurant (but probably not for long).
