4 Star Hotels in Rostock

2 of 5 points... 1 point is given to the location an the other to the breakfast-staff. They really do a good job. So whats wrong then? This hotel has a frontdesk staff that dont't have a clue of what service means. I will go as far as say that the front desk employees are the worst I ever has experienced. We arrived with a car and was advised to use the parking cellar of the shopping center. Well, it was full, and when we tried to get help from the front desk woman to find an other solution... there was no help to get at all. Great first impression. Well, we got the car parked at last somewhere, and we hoped not to get in touch with the front desk again in our 2 nights stay. On day two, we got back from a daytrip to Warnemünde and wanted to take a shower to get rid of the salt before going to a concert. Big suprise: The had not done housekeeping and there was no new towels. We didn't care to much about the messy bed, but when my wife tok a call down to the front desk and asked them to bring new towels... the lady in the front desk said no... you have to come and get them yourself! We asked, of course, why they didn't clean the room and the answer was: You have to give a message to the front desk if you want your room cleaned!!!!! Well, thats's a touch of old DDR for you. Sorry but this hotel needs to get new staff for the front desk to get 2 more points. And a further advice... Add a waterheather with coffee in the rooms and a small fridge like all other hotel-rooms to get one more.

It is a quiet and beautiful four-star hotel. In the suburbs, you need to take three bus stops from the city! About 15 minutes! There is a forest behind the hotel, and the air is fresh and beautiful! The only downside is that the curtains on the windows of the street are only halfway. They can't completely cover the windows, and the privacy is not enough! I don't understand what the Germans think, after the replacement of the room, the front desk helped upgrade to the room facing the woods, there are roller blinds covering the windows, free upgraded rooms, the front desk guys are particularly warm and friendly 😊, impressive!

We visited Rostock for the first time my wife and I. We stayed at Vienna House Sonne for 11 days. On our arrival, we met with Sonja who made us feel at home.. She met us every morning to see if all was perfect.. Indeed, everything was perfect.. the staff was always smiling and ready to help. The hotel is wonderful and very well situated in the heart of Neuw Markt..! All shops and city life at a walking distance. Trams to different part of Rostock were available and the station is at 30secs walk from the hotel. Thank you Sonja H and your staff for making our stay in Rostock memorable…! ❤️❤️ Vielen Dank 🙏

The hotel has a great location in the center and port. The service was GREAT. Very friendly staff, since we were 4 people (2 adults and 2 children), an extra bed was missing, which we did immediately after information. There was plenty of space in the room and everything was clean. The bathroom was large and a nice shower. There was a kettle with tea, coffee to make yourself. In the lobby there is water, apples and sweets to take away. The roof terrace on the 10th floor or higher was open to everyone and has loungers for sunbathing and a GREAT view of the harbor and city. We were all very happy.

Intercity Hotel Rostock was located at the main railway station on the outskirts of Rostock city. The hotel room was simply furnished but contained the essentials. However, the air quality was poor and the air conditioner worked poorly so it got very hot in the room. The cleanliness was as expected. The bathroom was small and simply decorated. The breakfast at the hotel was very good and varied, with a good selection of both hot and cold dishes. The staff seemed uninterested and were passive in meeting me as a guest. It lacked both smile and service attitude. Based on this, I can not recommend this hotel to others and will not visit it again myself.

We were spontaneously for a night there. Beautiful, quietly located hotel. Super nice staff, bar very competent and delicious cocktails. Eating was great. Breakfast for everyone with something. We had eaten on the terrace in the evening and morning, which was very pleasant. Rooms were beautiful, clean and the mattresses did not cause back pain. We had not managed to get the pool and wellness area in the short time. The beach and the Baltic Sea are very close to the beach and is very good at 10 minutes.

We spent our summer holiday this year in Warnundür Hof and had a really great time. Despite the many Corona restrictions, the staff was very professional and well managed. Here you can see that Mrs Boldt, as restaurant manager, has the store and the staff is very valuable and still consistent. We had great respect for the fact that the service staff had always carried masks and also always correctly (and not even under the nose or just half-hearted etc.). The restaurant is really top for the quality of the food and does not have to hide behind luxury restaurants, especially the 3-G-ange menus in the half-pension were a dream. The only two criticisms: - The bike rental fee of EUR 9 is very expensive, especially given the individual old bikes. There would be a more cheap multiday rate. - The breakfast eggs were cooked very differently and could be a bit more soft than very hard;)
