We stayed at Hotel Kommandoergaarden for a week's horseriding holiday and had an excellent time. We stayed in a Wadden Sea Cabin, which was comfortable and had plenty of room for two. The stairs up to the second bedroom are steep which might be an issue for some. Pleasant seating areas outside the cabin. The breakfast was very good, with a decent selection of fruit, yogurt cereal, bread and cheese etc. Our package included a buffet dinner. Unfortunately the buffet main dishes were all meat or fish! We were able to order from the menu, but feel that the buffet should cater for vegetarians. The quality of food was very good. The riding was fantastic, lovely horses and virtually no road work. The pools and steam room were ideal for relaxing after a ride. In general the staff were helpful, however the restaurant and stables
