Hotels near Christian Congregation of Brazil in Rio de Janeiro

Ive stayed in the basic room but I didn't expect it to be so small. The bed was big, but the room smelled of cigarettes. The Cable TV didn't work, always said the signal was bad. The bathroom is small and I found used bath soap laying around. I complained and they promised to clean the room, only to find out that the cleaning service is working once a week during the pandemic. The breakfast was really basic (which I understand as we are in a coronavirus pandemic and things are simpler) but the coffee was just ok (drinkable). The service knocked on my door twice one night trying to deliver somebody else's meal. Overall if I had personally payed for the room I wouldn't stay. However, I didn't have an option because it was a critical business trip and it was the nearest hotel next to the client.

The hotel is in a very good location , 15 min walking from the beach. Nearby the bridge, so we didn’t need to use the ferry boat to cross the river or walk long distances. Barra da Tijuca is perfect , the best beach ! Later we went to Copacabana but we regret don’t staying longer in Barra da Tijuca as we liked it more than Copacabana, the beach is cleaner, less people, more quiet .

would like to appreciate the pro active staff at the Front office Ms Dilma and Tuanny who with their cheerful and helpful attitude made the experience pleasant ,they are always available to assist with smallest of requests , A big Thank you to the ladies Appreciate the efforts of the kitchen staff as well for serving meals,snacks in the Covid times , the staff are cheerful and pleasant.

Excellent option in the Tijuca bar .. price a little higher and even well above but due carnaval period.. great breakfast but at 10:30 a.m. the restaurant staff are already passing a “furacan” withdrawing everything and no water leaves.. The sauna wasn't working.. it looks like q had broken and did not fix on the same day .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

I’d give 4.5 stars if I was allowed but not quite 5. The pandemic caused a few issues (bar been closed early and no 24 hour room service) and I had a few very minor issues-One day my water wasn’t replaced and on another I ordered room service and one of the items didn’t arrive. This happened another day but the guy realised and went back. The room was a double delux and was amazing with a great view and duel aspect. Roof top pool is great and although I didn’t use the gym there is a small one if needed. The staff were all helpful and polite and the food was good as well as the breakfast. Always felt safe and secure and the cleaners always did a great job.

Wet food service when staying at this hotel. We arrived late for lunch but were very much welcomed. The food was good. In the evening we ate in the restaurant and were attended to by Beatriz and Lucas. They were very helpful indeed. I would very much like to use this hotel again due to the attentiveness of the staff. 　2020年３月に5泊しました。空港からホテルまでタクシー・車以外の交通手段はありません。空港のarrivalで雲助タクシーに引っかかって、BRL280を払って乗ってしまいました（通常のタクシー料金はBRL100~120）。しかも交通事情が悪く、1時間半はかかります。特に夕方の時間帯は渋滞がひどく、夜７時発フライトの荷物チェックインの締め切り時間を過ぎてしまって、改めて当日片道航空券を買い直す羽目に。GIG-TYO間でUSD5800もかかってしまい散財しました。皆さま、余裕を持って行動されることをお薦めします。 　ホテルはビーチ沿いにあり、屋上にジムとプールがあります。屋上からの眺めと同様、窓からも景色が良くて堪能しました（朝日の写真参照）。部屋は広くありませんが十分でした。清掃も行き届いておりましたが、safety boxの不具合で、毎日、担当係の人を呼ぶ羽目になりました。気さくに来てくれて、友達になりました。シャワーの出具合も天井からの場合は良かったですが、ハンドタイプからの出具合は悪かったです。夜間は道沿いですが静かで、ベッドの寝心地も良かったです。TV は地元ローカル局と、BBC, CNN, スペインなどがメインで日本語放送はありません。朝食は写真の通り豊富でした。自分で作るジューサーもありますので、お好みの味で飲めます（写真参照）。ホテル前がビーチになっています。また徒歩圏内にスーパーもありますので、飲み物やテイクアウト食料が買えて便利です。またTaxiで10分位乗ると、Olegario Maciel Av.沿いにブティック、レストラン、銀行などが立ち並び、夜は楽しめました。ホテルのスタッフは皆さん親切で、ツアーの予約やホテル周辺の案内など、また雑談にも気軽に応じてくれていい人たちばかりでした。Rioは見どころが多く、魅力たっぷりです（写真参照）。次回は散財しないように注意して、再訪したいと思います。 　I visited on March 2020 and stayed at 5 nights. This hotel is built at ocean front. So, short distance walk to beach is very convenient. Room is very clean in spite of a little bit small, and very comfortable with quiet at night. Breakfast is very delicious with many items. All staff is very kindly person with good speaking in English. The distance is far from the airport and take a long time due to the traffic jam. Therefore, it is necessary you have to have a enough time.

I’ve only started using Ibis recently and I will be staying them for a month this time and a month in August / September in Brazil . I had a minor medical issue this time around and Chiara at reception was just superb - world class employee ( and I have stayed in the worlds best hotels - I know my way around hotels ) . She’s exactly what you expect and much much more . Fantastic employee . Empathetic, confident efficient and professional . This is a great hotel in a lovely part of Barra da Tijuica . Great facilities , superb staff . Home from home. This will always be my base in Rio from now on .

Positive Great Location, you are relatively close to everything in walking distance. There is a pharmacy next door, as well as a bakery that has outstanding quality. The rooms are clean and spacious. One of the big pros for me is that there are no carpets, which is a big plus. It avoids any unpleasant smells. Negative Unfortunately, there are a lot more negative comments rather than positive ones. My family and I usually stay at the Grand Hyatt, but due to Covid-19, the hotel was temporarily closed. We were left with no other option but to give this hotel a try. I want to emphasize that this hotel has the potential to be a 4 or 5-star hotel if adjustments are made. Nonetheless, this hotel should be a 3 star. On the first day of arrival, we had wifi. However, on the 2 day of our stay, we no longer had wifi. We contacted the reception desk, and the girls in counter said they were having issues with their wifi due to their guest capacity?!?!?!?!?!?! really? This is a hotel that shouldn't even be an issue. We are in 2020 in 2020 even McDonalds has a reliable WIFI however, Windsor Marapendi did not. After a few days the ”Partial Wifi” was back up, I mean partial because the wifi was only available in the lobby. Just writing this review baffles me with their lack of proper and basic preparation and administration. Wifi was not available during our entire 9-day stay. We stayed on the 13th floor, and again I repeat no wifi in the room. I had to go down to the lobby so I could log in to my laptop to work. How inconvenient and above all this, not one apology and acknowledgment of their lack of proper planning from the hotel, and they didn't even move a finger to make matters right with this nuisance. There was a lack of responsibility and care from the hotel. All they would say is that they are working on it. The hotel charges for the use of an adapter. It's 50 real. Although it's nothing if you convert it to USD, all hotels allow you to borrow an adapter if needed. Especially one that has no wifi. (forgive me, but I can't get over this wifi issue) Breakfast is free, which is a nice thing (especially for a hotel with no wifi), but it's mediocre, your best off going out for breakfast you will have a much better experience. Blowdryer is obsolete. Suppose you want to dry your hair, good luck. Bring your blowdryer. In my case, I had to go out and buy one during my stay. The Reception desk crew needs a complete revamp on professionalism and Customer Service. If you are trying to be a high-end hotel ( Which this hotel is not), Customer service is everything you guest needs to feel welcomed and feel like their needs is cared for regardless of how little or big their needs are. Windsor Marapendi, you have great potential if the criticism is taken and executed for them not to happen again in the future with other guests. You need major improvement.
