My room was very cosy, the guys at the reception kind and helpful, and the location just perfect, in a quiet street a short walk from bus/train/ stations, theatre, cinema and close to restaurants and shops. We had the Grand Suite for a bachelorette event on 13th of August, 2023, but the service was truly a disappointment. It all started when at arrival the room was not ready and they mixed up the time of arrival with the time I requested an ice bucket to be brought to the room. Further, I requested a plate to put some snack on but the receptionist confused it with antipasti and after not clarifying this in 2minutes said that this could not be cancelled. The personnel of the hotel is truly a disaster. not client oriented at all! when asked to fix this the guy starts coming at us not in any way in friendly matter that this was our request (when we clearly did not request it). After almost an hour of wait the room was cleaned. I requested a compensation for all this misunderstanding and the receptionist personally came to the Suite and offered a 10% discount for the whole dinner at their restaurant. When we finished the dinner and the bill arrived we were surprised of the fact that no discount was added, the waiter said that there was no information available to him of any discount and that the bill he issued could not be cancelled (at this point we felt that we are treated as complete *****s) however we tried to make an effort and help him solve this whole thing. He tried to offer us a bottle of Prosecco which we kindly refused and basically accepted some cocktails which we did not want. The cherry at the top of this whole stay was when we went out in the evening and asked to send someone to our room to clean the glass from the bathroom floor which was accidentally dropped and the receptionist offered us help in 9am next day…. A 5 star hotel they say… and there were personnel in the hotel… so with galas on the floor of Grand Suit we stayed the night :) When explaining the situation in the morning at the check out and how disappointed we were, the reception said that they understand us and this is unacceptable and they will clarify and call me to resolve this, as we could predict, no form of justification was offered at all…Well, two weeks later and no call whatsoever, should have expected this…

We needed accommodation for one night, close enough to bus station and this hotel looked nice. We arrived from airport by buss No 22, bus stop is not too far from hotel. Building looks ugly from outside, but nice and cozy inside. There was everything in room what you need for 1 night: comfortable double bed, large flat TV, water kettle with coffee and minibar. Our room had very small window. We missed more hangers, there was only 2 pieces. Unfortunately floor heating was not in order in bathroom. Breakfast was like in typical 3* hotel, but this hotel has 4*.

We had great time at the hotel, while celebrating my husband's birthday betwen two of us. The staff is professional and friendly. The room had a great view, it was warm and smelled good. The only thing that was not exactly to our taste, was the softness of the bed, while we of course understand it is a matter of subjective taste. Was also great to have a small water boiler in the room for making morning coffee. The dinner was excellent and the breakfast lavish. Thank you!

Terrific overall experience at the Riga Metropole Hotel. My brother and I stayed 6 nights-- we enjoyed the visit, especially the Hotel. Physical facility was smart, well appointed and very clean! Staff was friendly, efficient and most hospitable. Location is convenient to all of Old Town. Breakfast was outstanding...over the top...so plentiful, almost no need for lunch. Room rate was very fair for overall value received. GM was engaged and seemed to be every-where.... Definitely would stay at the Metropole again and again.

The location is very good, the old city new town one after the other, across the road is a small park, walking to the old town all the attractions, health is not bad, the room is not small, parking 24 hours 15 euros, if you go to the store late If you can, park your car on the street, 2.6 Euro for the first hour, second hour for 3 Euro, 8pm to 8:00 the next morning.

The hotel is conveniently located 20 min walk from the old city, just in the center of Riga with a lot of restaurants and cafes nearby. The gym in the hotel has stunning view to the city , well equipped and you can access it with your room card at your convenience. Nice European breakfast. The stuff is very well trained, attentive and accomodating,

Accor management has certain qualities The handsome guy at the counter saw that we were carrying a large suitcase and changed the room that originally required climbing a few stairs to a room with an elevator upstairs. thank you very much! The breakfast was of good quality and we were very satisfied. The hotel has a great a**osphere, a bit like living in a castle, we like this feeling The location is also very good. It is within walking distance from the city center attractions. Just take a slow walk.

Hotel was perfectly located, right next to the old town city and across the street from market and train station. Room was cleaned and spacious. Room 425 was right next to staff room and staff kept smasching the door from ealrly morning till lunch and it was bothering us during stay. We notified about this receptionist and she said she will discuss it. Best thing about this hotel was definitely breakfast, you could choose from wide range - sweet pancakes or salty hashbrowns. I would recommend to go to breakfast either very early or after 9:30 because it was crowded around 9:00 am, but this is not fault of hotel. SPA was good as well. 15 euro for 1,5 hours - sauna, jacuzzi and small pool. If you book it online via concierge it was 10 euro. Overall, we were satisfied with this hotel and would pick it again for stay in Riga.
