Enjoyed my experience at SureStay Ridgecrest. Room was clean & looked new. Friendly staff during the check-in & key drop box for check out was convenient. Coupon for breakfast at Denny's just down the street was a nice touch. You would never know that this hotel experienced 2 major earthquakes about 2 weeks prior. Ridgecrest is very much open for business!

Ridgecrest is a small town but with lots of restaurants, a Walmart supercenter and a cinema in front of the hotel. We used the hotel as a starting than landing point to Death Valley wonderful National Park. The hotel is clean, calm at night, staff is friendly, breakfast served as from 5.00 am which is superb but the hotel has some limitations : air conditioning/heating is very noisy, rooms are very simplified (when compared with same price level hotels we experienced during our California trip), breakfast is minimalistic and there is not a real dining room but 2 tables in the reception area. You can ask ice and receive a (very) small bag of ice at reception. So a rather mixed experience and it's hard to understand why in a small town, this hotel has a rather poor value/cost relationship.

The hotel facilities are good, clean and hygienic, and the service is warm. Our whole family is satisfied. The bedding is clean and the environment is elegant. It is a trustworthy hotel. I will continue to book this hotel next time. Thank you!

From Death Valley, go back to Los Angeles, choose to stay here for one night, and start to fear that the bicycle in the Death Valley will be anchored. No one is rescued. Because there is no signal inside, it is found that there are cars in the Death Valley, all of them are people, and the concerns are eliminated. From Death Valley, the 190 road to this hotel is the road that is really worried. There is no signal, there are few cars. I feel that it has been a long time. Through the cracks in the mountains, the fire finally arrived at the hotel at night. The hotel is still good, dry and wet separated bathroom. The service personnel are responsible and responsible, the key is that the car is parked outside the door, which is very convenient for the weight of the baggage.

Had a lovely stay here. Friendly and efficient staff. Room was extremely large with two big beds. Also two chairs one of which was a recliner which was quite welcomed for putting our feet up. Microwave, fridge, ice cooler and coffee machine. USB chargers on the desk and WIFI was easy to connect to. No water in the rooms which is such a shame. Breakfast was good - menu service and you did have to pay extra for something more than what was on the menu. Staff were busy though and we were one of the first in the breakfast morning the next morning. Took awhile for them to waiter and clear the tables. Small issue though for what was a pleasant stay.
