There was no one at property. Living room had dedead bugs and bed looked like someone slept on it. Had eerie feeling so left and moved to hotel. Next day I was told by locals that it is haunted. The owner send me text that day that no one is there except for guest

The house is a beautiful, historic home that is in need of some attention in terms of exterior painting, landscaping, etc. I was told that there was no one else staying at the property (no guests or property staff) and that there was a Keurig machine. Unfortunately when I arrived, there were no Keurig pods. This B&B does not offer breakfast and you will need to drive about 8 miles into Bloomington (I was given a $30 voucher for my 4 day stay). This was not particularly convenient. Lastly, some flies and a wasp entered my bedroom through a window that was closed but perhaps not well-insulated. I wish that a property manager would have at least come to check on me during my stay and inquire about any needs since I paid close to $1,000 for a 4-night stay.

The property was listed as a bed and breakfast but oddly there were no staff onsite. I did not know this until I received a text. It felt deserted. Also there was no food served and instead we were given a gift certificate to a restaurant. We didn’t use it but another guest said the restaurant was skeptical of the gift certificate. It didn’t have a bar code or anything to indicate its validity.

We enjoyed the house and had a comfy bed. We booked the place for a bed and breakfast, we were not informed until the afternoon of our stay there would be no breakfast and no one on site. We were given a 30 gift card to a restaurant that was 20 minutes away and opposite direction of heading home. Had we known we would have just booked a hotel that offered amenities.

Our stay at the Beaumont was great. The property is nice and backs up to a preserve, so there is access to a 2 mile trail. There was no staff on the premises and only 4 rooms, so it felt very private. It was just a 15 minute drive into downtown Bloomington. The breakfast voucher provided in the morning was to Southern Stone and it was delicious. The only cons were that the bed was very soft and not super comfortable. And the shower was a little finicky, but not unexpected due to the age of the house.

We enjoyed our stay at the Beaumont House very much! It's a lovely historical home, has easy highway access, and is close to Bloomington to easily make it to football or other events. The hostess was responsive and accommodating. The bed was comfortable and appreciated the in-room bathroom.

The Victorian-style house/facility was clean, pleasing, and in good condition, and communication was clear and timely. The surprises, which I did not read or hear about, was that it is not staffed. You are given an entry code to the house and to your assigned room, but no one is physically present. Any questions or concerns can be texted. So it's not a bed 'n breakfast in the typical sense; no one is there to prepare breakfast in the morning. Instead, you are provided a $25 credit at a nearby butcher/bakery market (which was very good). The main issue was that I was in the Beaumont room, which faces the front and thus is closest to the road (maybe a 50-60 ft setback). While situated on a two-lane country road, it's a very busy east-west road, and the road noise, even into the night, was surprisingly loud, and kept me from a restful night.

Nice property setting. Room was nice. House was nicely arranged and set-up, Was advertised as a Bed and Breakfast, but found out it was just a bed and breakfast was in town. Management was lacking. Had a hot tub, but no water. Water that was in in it, was rain water. Plants had not been watered and ****s growing in various places. Poison ivy on firewood pile! For being memorial day weekend, I thought might had been spruced-up a bit more as there was also a wedding on teh property. Had to go to restaurant in town for breakfast with a capped food voucher. Bathroom had been cleaned, I think, but found leftover shampoo, mouthwash.

we arrived late and it was pretty spooky going into the dark empty house but once we were inside it was lovely. the only complaint i had was that a breakfast was said to be included but all that was available was coffee
