We have just returned from sun beach and we wouldn't return. We did enjoy our week but the cons very much outweigh the pros. We didn't have a hot shower once all week and the food was always cold you only get beer and wine plus soft drinks in the all inclusive which we knew before we arrived but it appeared that not everyone did. We didn't pay alot to stay here so our expectations were fairly low to start with which helped I guess . The pool area was very rarely tidied and the beach was nice but entering the sea was an experience as it's quiet a steep pebbled approach. If you are thinking of going here as a family I wouldn't, as there isn't a lot for children. We did venture out twice but there is only 1 pub which is called cocktails and dreams it's not a cheap place to drink but has a good atmosphere especially when there is karaoke on. We ate in the small Italian twice which was very well priced and the food was lovely. All in all we had a good week as the weather was good but we would never return.

We arrive at the hotel late afternoon with our 2 young children and my in-laws to be told we are not staying here. They provided us with transfer to take us to a different hotel up the road. We returned the next day around midday and was able to check in our 2 rooms. An apology of fresh fruit and wine was provided to us in our rooms. Our family room was fine, 2 single beds and a double bed. Air-con was free. Food was all inclusive but would say it was light inclusive. No snacks during the day and food at meal times was average. Not a huge selection but was salad, meat, fish, pasta and a few other choices. Dinner was similar. However their moussaka was amazing! Fresh Pancakes in the morning and a selection of toast, cake, fruit, sausage, bacon beans ect. Location of the hotel is perfect, on the beach and some really lovely restaurants close by should you choose to dine out. Pool wasn’t the best. Hardly any sun beds and pool was so full of chlorine that our swimwear was discoloured after one use. The steps in the pool need to be replaced so if you suffer with bad legs/back etc I wouldn’t recommend using this pool as you’ll struggle to get in and out. Baby pool was nice and kids spent a lot of time in there, albeit no sunbeds. This was near the bar so was chairs close by. Fire show with Harry was incredible. So fascinating to watch and kids loved it. Greek dancing with live music was a great watch too. On our last day we were able to keep our family room free of charge until 3pm. All in all we had a lovely holiday, however this is not a hotel we would return to.

This hotel hotel has so many mixed reviews and I can see why. The positives are that the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The hotel is right on the beach so it's a lovely location and the shop is great, the lady who runs it is a diamond. The negatives are that the pool area is not great. If you prefer the swimming pool to the beach then this is not the hotel for you. The breakfast was terrible, the lunch and dinner were OK but it all still felt a bit dirty and there isn't much variety. To be honest we ate elsewhere. I think this place should be bed and breakfast hotel, they are trying to provide all inclusive on a budget and it doest quite cut it. I would stay again , room only but not all inclusive.

I have visited sun beach lindos last week and I have one the best five days of my life . The location was brilliant and the stuff very friendly also the room was totally renovated . The food was very tasty but the biggest pleasure of this hotel was the sandy beach . I will visit sun beach for sure and I totally recommended it.

DO NOT GO HERE Firstly I need to mention that I am one of the ones that take bad reviews with a pinch of salt but on this occasion I regret this!! When we arrived at 1am we were told there was no room for us and we had to stay at a hotel over the road, no apologies and they basically said it happens so get over it, the hotel room we had for the night was tiny with no air con, we’re told to come back for breakfast and room will be ready at 7.30am so that’s what we did. The morning receptionist was a women and oh my god she was so rude, the room wasn’t ready until 11am in the end she slowly walked us to the 2 flights of steps and pointed saying up there, I was with my two young children one disabled, I asked for help with suitcases and she shrugged her shoulders and went back to reception. The room, well considering the photo they use for advertising is a lovely fresh room, this is misadvertising, there is only a handful of refurbished double rooms only. The rooms are the most basic rooms iv ever seen, the shower room is basically a partitioned section of room with a shed like door. The rooms are not clean and even when we were there for 11 nights we had 1 sheet change and 1 towel change. Never cleaned. The rooms are invested with ants and we were all bit all over every night. There is big gaps around doors so mosquitos get in easily. FOOD- we are not fussy eaters and this food is horrendous, the staff regularly eat off the buffet with one night the chef walked off eating the last of the flatbreads with an hour to go until service finished. They did not care when we complained. No children’s food options. The plastic cups are plastic and dirty, desserts consists of jelly and ice cream and watermelon that’s it. DRINKS - only beer and wine is included in all inclusive and nasty cheap fizzy drinks. There is no snack bar, so breakfast 7-10 lunch 12.30-14 dinner 19 - 21.- there is no food inbetween these times apart from a glass jar on the bar with dried biscuits. All staff are very rude and clearly hate working there, a few of the cleaners are lovely and friendly. The pool area is a small pool that we never saw being cleaned once’s, the water is cloudy surrounded by broken tiles and about 10 sunbeds which are nearly all broke. The pool area is never cleaned or tidied up so rubbish is all scattered around, it is swarming in ants also. The beach is beautiful and the best but about this hotel, but impossible to get sunbeds I refused to get up at 5am just to get sunbeds on beach. Entertainment is not too bad, but very basic and not on every night. Drink ate until 10pm only. To top off this holiday on our last day fires spread to this resort and we were with out electrify and drinks and food and water, the female receptionist offered no help or support when we were all trying to flee the hotel for safety, no water or refreshments were offered

On arrival we were greeted by a lovely gentleman that noticed my stick and asked that I go back and switch room the next day which we did no problem and was given a ground floor room which to be fair I did prefer The food on offer at meal times is varied and like all other inclusive holidays I’ve been on you do need to get drinks first or your food will cool quickly as it’s an outside seated restaurant The wine isn’t the best nor is the beer but the soft drinks flowed easily The room was clean and spacious it had minimal small places that needed a little attention but on the whole it was a nice room The on site shop was the best priced hotel shop I’ve ever come across the lady that runs this is lovely she welcomes you and assists if she can there is little to no difference to the price of outside supermarkets so on the evenings if we wanted to have a drink we would collect from the shop cans of kopperberg and mythos 2.30 ish euros which was great The entertainment wasn’t the best but we took cards plus if your more mobile the ***** at the front is good The pool is a welcome treat whilst lazing round it in the Greek sunshine however the steps out can be a challenge if you have knee/hip issues this was rectified on some occasions with the aid of a plastic chair to get up to the first step At the end of our holiday as we had a late flight we was allowed to use our towels to shower in the washrooms provided to clean up ready for our trip home I loved my first holiday in Rhodes I was worried having read some of the reports on here but the hotel is fine the restaurant staff are really friendly Vas in particular would greet us daily the bar staff however have a lot to learn about smiling not the happiest people

Me and my best friend came here for a relaxing girls holiday and we can both agree that we’ve had an amazing time whilst being here. The hotel staff have been lovely, the food and drink selection is great (possibly add some apple juice though ☺️), the events held have also been very entertaining. If you’re having trouble trying to decide whether this hotel is very good based on the pictures, I’d personally say that the pictures on the website did not do them justice at all! Additionally, the beach is right by the hotel, as well as the pool and any extras such as the beach market and bar, as everything you need is really easily accessible. If you need a relaxing beach holiday, sun beach Lindos is the place to go!

The location was lovely, the hotel is situated right on the beach. There isn't that much to do in Lardos, to be honest I think its a bit deceiving calling the hotel "Sun Beach Lindos" when its not actually situated in Lindos. Lardos does have a few lovely bars, Cocktails and Dreams is brilliant. Costa, the manager there is a great guy and can give you any info on things to do and where to go. there is a bus-stop a two minute walk from the hotel, you can get a bus to Pefkos (5 minute ride) which is beautiful! Beautiful beach and great bars, most with their own pools and sunbeds! A bar called Happy Friends was a lovely family run bar, very welcoming! Pefkos beach is stunning! About another five minutes up the road on the bus in Lindos, which is stunning and must go to! Now, back to the hotel - it took 3 days before we had hot water in our room, the shower had no shower head holder so you had to hold the shower to use it. There is a huge gap under the door which every mosquito in greece decided to come under! These are the only gripes about the room, it was somewhere to lay our heads and the bed was lovely and comfortable! The food.... was hit and miss.... and more miss! If you took children to this hotel i dont think they would eat much at all, there was no snack bar, which you would usually get on an all inclusive holiday. And the only all inclusive drinks is one beer and a red and white wine! The red wine was icy cold too! And dont get me started on the Teaspoons. If I had paid more for the holiday I would have been quite disappointed, but we got a deal, we had a great holiday but that was more to do with the company.
