RiKu Hotel Reutlingen

Reutlingen|0.13km from Reutlingen Hbf
I stayed here as part of a business trip for 2 nights. The hotel itself was very nicely decorated. The staff member who checked us in (Lyubomir Ivanov) was very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. The room was a good size and also nicely decorated. The mirror however was in a strange place – right next to the door and not by the dressing table which was a bit awkward. The bathroom was lovely and the shower was large. The do provide an all in one shower-bodywash, and a hairdryer is in the room. The TV was big and had a variety of channels. There was some issues with the window that few in our party had trouble with. You cannot open it, you need to get a member of staff too, even though it only opens a little, and then ask them to close it too. There was also unfortunately no kettle. They provided you with one small bottle of sparkling water (in a double bedroom 2 would have been better). The bed was comfortable however I did find it strange having 2 separate duvets on a double bed. There is also NO SAFE. Overall comfortable but a kettle would have been appreciated for boiling water. Breakfast was ok. A selection of teas, coffee and some juices. No cooked food. A few cereals and the yoghurt/fruit was nice. Disappointed there was no hot food, and there was only rolls of bread (no toaster), and a few croissants – that were not replenished. For the number of guests there, especially on our second morning, I would have hoped more would have been supplied and maybe even a bigger variety of pastries. There is NO BAR here – drinks and snacks from a vending machine are available, (‘wine’, beer, soft drinks, prosecco and a couple of spirits with mixers). However this was not restocked, but when we did ask at reception and Lyubomir restocked it straight away and said we could pay for a few warm ones now whilst we wait, with a bucket of ice, which was very kind. Very annoying that the tea/coffee machine had no teabags by it throughout our stay, so paying for a hot water – I was lucky I had my own teabags! Also, what I found strange was the lift you could only access your floor or the ground floor with your keycard. This was to avoid customers going on other floors. A bit of a pain if you are staying on a separate floor to your travel companion and have forgotten something, so have to go to the ground floor, meet up and then go back to your room! There is also have a pool table you can use. Also, to presumably cut staff costs – there is 1 to 2 people available on check-in – and they leave the hotel by 11pm. After that there are no staff available. Overall the room was nice, staff were friendly and it is a short walk from a couple of restaurants. However due to the lack of a bar, lack of staff availability and breakfast not being the best, I wouldn’t stay here again for more than 1 night.

We were often in this hotel before, for a few years, every time we were in Reutlingen. It was not so modern, but cozy for it before and everything went hearty and guest-oriented. Perfect for a short trip. We always liked to come back! Now the rooms are upset, beautiful and new, the facelift has liked us...the baths are still the old... but we could have lived with it. We cannot live with uninterested staff at the reception, who are uninterested in advance and free of obligation to handle friendly requests, not care about their guests at arrival, Discuss before us their holiday evening and ignore our little request for support, to go directly to the holiday evening at a time. My credit card was charged with 2x breakfast that we had not, which was discussed by phone in the forefront. A remark on this was rejected at arrival! We have not received a bill and have not received any response to our request by email to clarify this situation. So no, I really can't recommend this hotel and must stay in Reutlingen elsewhere in the future. Shame what looked like improvement... has proved to be a deterioration, the old tribal guests are shamed. Just to be harmful and so unprofessional!

Very good centrally located hotel. We booked this hotel for a short trip. All was simply perfect. Personal at the reception friendly and helpful, rooms very clean and optimally equipped. Now the screening. From the operator couple we have received a breakfast which is looking for his same. Just top. Here we weren't for the last time.

We booked the hotel via hotels.com. It was also the only one that was shown to us in Reutlingen ... location: in the industrial area. nothing beautiful. about 20 minutes walk inst center. for our needs it was ok. room: We booked a room with jaccuzzi. The room was very large, just as the jaccuzzi. so far as well. but: jaccuzzi probably was not cleaned/desinfected after the last guests. You could clearly spots etc. discover the rooms that are removed with simple spots the room is as said, large but lovely furnished. It all seems very cold. Cleanliness: it was OK clean (except the jaccuzzi). but could have been better. moreover: in the morning the ”beds were made”, say the ceiling was briefly shaken, kissing etc. were ignored. staff will not be more than 5 minutes in the room passed. Beds: too soft mattress. I have rarely sleeped so badly and I'll probably need a chiropracist to rebuild me. personal: friendly if you need something, But in principle ”absent”. one constantly wonders why they actually run a hotel. It is certainly not passionate. When checking out, great confusion because we had booked about hotels.com. It was not clear, that the payment should run through the booking platform. We naturally paid not another time... then could go too, but it seemed everything very incompetent . Related restaurant: just better than a turner-take-away. Breakfast buffet Lovelessly riched, but has everything you need (broads, musli, fruits, coffee) all in all: for this price you can definitely expect more!

It's really level one invincible! Highly recommended! It's really a legacy. I'm at least better than the king of orange crystal
Dormero Hotel Reutlingen

The hotel Dormero is surprising. The rooms are modern with an interesting bathroom solution. The reception is very hearty and also through it we've been happy to talk to Laura at the reception. We felt very well. Each hotel has pets that were in our case Bart-Agamen and we've liked to watch. For the interim there are small cakes and cakes at the reception and coffee and tea there are all day. The breakfast is good and there are gluten-free breads.
