Eltina Hotel

Hotel of average conditions. Our room was internal, therefore also quite quiet, of adequate size for two, with a kitchenette (which we never used). Also equipped with a very small balcony no. The decent sized bathroom with hairdryer. Really plentiful breakfast. A few meters from the seafront with equipped beaches. Only the center of the "nightlife" is a little further away, but not excessively: with a walk of about a quarter of an hour you can easily arrive. Very friendly and welcoming staff

It was a wonderful vacation. Liked everything! 1. Location - 5 minutes to the beach, restaurants, a large supermarket across the road (which has everything), to the old town, lighthouse, fortress - 20-25 minutes walking along the embankment. The windows of our room overlooked the pool, it was quiet, we slept great. And you could see the sunrise 2. Breakfast. Everything is delicious and there is a choice - Greek salad, very tasty pastries, vegetables, olives, bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs, fruit, yogurt, milk. We ate our fill. 3. Staff. Very nice, they helped with everything - calling a taxi, and telling us how to get where. When we went on excursions, they offered a lunch box. 4. Cleaning. They cleaned every day (very well), changed towels. And what touched me was that every time they laid out towels in the form of bows on the bed) 5. Beach. The entrance to the water is gradual, the beach itself is sandy, but there are small stones when entering the water, but they did not cause any inconvenience at all. We went to the beach where you could order food/drinks and use an umbrella and sunbed for free. The sea in this place often has small waves, which made many happy. 6. In the room. There was a small kitchen, with all the necessary utensils, even a washcloth and dishwashing detergent (you don't see that often). The furniture is new, modern. There was a hairdryer and soap. On the balcony there is a drying rack, a table and 2 chairs. 7. Territory and pool. The area is not large, but well-groomed. The pool is clean, there is a separate area for children where it is shallow. There is a small children's playground. I don't have a single complaint about the hotel, everything was great.

Not a nice location, on a busy road. Very convenient for intermediate stops on long journeys, new comfortable room, pleasant swimming pool, nearby and free car parking. Supermarket also nearby. Good location for visiting Rethymno

I went there with daughter and friends. Already for my friends, air conditioning and WiFi were an option. And not me. In short, weird. The entire room is extremely dilapidated. Beds with springs not at all comfortable. The curtains were not blackout either. In addition, there was a couple who acted as maids who hung around all day at the hotel on the terrace, never hello, unfriendly. They came to do "cleaning" around 3:00 p.m., quickly mop around the beds and just change the towels which were sometimes limited. The exterior for the plants was well maintained but the billiards table was rotten. The balls were yellow and the carpet was rotten. The bar fridge was horribly dirty. And each time the very friendly and commercial “owner” only wanted cash. This is very disappointed. I have seen rave reviews. Frankly. I really have a hard time understanding yes when you are 20 years old that you are there to just sleep and party why not. This was not my case.
