Premier Inn Reading South (Grazeley Green) hotel

Very clean and lovely place to stay. Easy to reach location.

i had a very enjoyable stay. the location was lovely and peaceful and pretty. the staff were welcoming and very helpful. i had a problem with the wi-fi and the staff helped me out with a voucher. the room was light and airy and a good size. the bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom was very clean. i will definately stay there again.

Room smelt of sewage Walls are paper thin Reception staff unhelpful & dismissed my complaint. Terrible!!!!

Comfortable room, quiet location and great value for money. Large car park so no hassle or parking charges. There was no restaurant but the premier inn adjoins the Old Bell pub that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lovely evening meal. Would stay again.

Great price and location, however breakfast isn’t the usual buffet and wasn’t worth the £10 standard charge Nice rural feel hotel great for a quieter night and it has a pub No bath in the room we had but 2 adults and 2 kids room was clean and comfy

Lovely hotel in a very quiet country setting yet just a few minutes off the motorway. Service was good, reception was great, room was bright and clean and the bed - well, just fabulous. Breakfast was next door at a wonderful ole pub and was superb. Highly recommend this hotel.

I wasn't ging to bother leaving a review but changed my mind after Premier pestered me by email. We booked for an overnight stopover as part of a long trip. After booking we were advised that there was some maintenance issues in parts of the hotel so would we consider moving to Reading Gateway? No, we didn't want to be sandwiched between Nandos, McDonalds and the 3-carriageway A33 so asked to stay at Grazeley. When we got to our room somewhere around 9PM we noticed a drain/chemical smell in the bathroom but we didn't have much alternative by then. That smell got worse during the night and filled the whole room, such that I had to get up and open all the windows at 3AM. My wife was actually sick in the morning. Plug hole in the bathroom sink was filled with a hairy gunge which had obviously accumulated over time. Bottom of bathroom door was rotting and there was signs of damp or flooding in the ceiling of the room. All in all, a very tired hotel in need of a refurb.

Went there with my partner for a Valentines get away. It is a lovely little hotel, room was clean and tidy, the team were great, friendly and had even gone above and beyond to leave us little treats in our room as well as helping us book a table at the nearby pub. Overall great experience.

Easy, friendly check I, comfey beds, perfect half way point for meeting friend. Nice walks nearby. Excellent service at the pub restaurant, staff very professional, friendly and service was fantastic, food was delicious and hot.
