As a BonVoy member we always seek out Marriott. We have stayed in this particular hotel several times while visiting family, but this particular time the staff were unfriendly, the service particularly poor and the breakfast was one in which we chose not
To eat as it looked awful all three days of our stay. They have done better previously and should attempt to do better in the future.

The manager I believe her name was Samantha? came from the back office letting me know there was a room downstairs open even though 2 others people at the desk said otherwise.

The hotel was great! The staff was friendly, but not necessarily welcoming. The hotel was clean, in a quiet part of town, yet close to the Main Street with available restaurants. There was a Walgreens Pharmacy within easy walking distance. HOWEVER, the toilet in our room was not “seated” properly, and rocked back and forth noisily. Not up to Marriott standards, I’d say!

We have stayed multiple times at this property. It is our go to when in Kansas City. It is clean and smells cleans. The beds are a great height.
