Hotels near Dhayah Fort, Ras Al Khaimah

We went here with friends who has holidayed here when it had just opened. We had a 10. night holiday booked with BA we arrived the early hours of Sunday 9th of October. We unpacked went to bed after looking around room in daylight next morning I wasnt impressed, we had 1 b/towel so hubby went down and asked for another also we asked for extra coathangers as there were only 4 (for 2 people) ?? The towel s did appear but no coathangers on trying the shower the head from the shower only produced a trickle so we asked if someone could check it for us . The light in the bathroom was flickering when we looked in it this is what we saw (see 1st photo ) there were two lights one either side of the sink both full.of dead flies they fixed the flickering light but the the other light though working was still full of dead flies ???????? Long story short they never fixed the shower we gave up asking for it to be fixed and used the small head on the shower. The 2nd photo is the photo is the mess that greeted us on our bathroom floor when we returned to our room after our 3rd request for the shower to be fixed (at least we assumed)they were trying to fix the shower head ) why else would you leave s bathroom in that state 😡😡😡😡😡😡 It was 5.30 and we had dinner booked for 6.30 i went ballistic hubby thought i was blaming him he threw one of the white bath towels over it and to cease arguung about this awful room iI.didn't complain about the room after that I decided it was easier to just put up with it and keep.the peace I should have at the start of the holiday demanded to move rooms and it would have been a much nicer holiday. We had paid for two upgrades and this room was certainly not worth the price we paid. The hotel does have good points the staff are amazing resturant and bar staff are some of the best we have ever had rhe privilage of meeting. Shout out for Peter and the Pizza chef in the Italian we enjoyed your singing and they are fabulous people . Also shout out for Nushta in the lobby bar but there were too any lovely staff to.mention by name the staff are certainly a great asset to the hotel. We really used only the a la carte restaurants in the evening for dinner and they r amazing always managed to book.a table and we loved the Italian at lunchtime too. I dont do brekkie but hubby and our friends did . The main areas of the hotel are lovely and reasonably kept seats are stained quite badly in some places and do need upgrading . The weather was fab food was good staff amazing but the photos of our room speak for themselves. I should gave made a stand at the start of the holiday regarding the room but then again no 5 star hotel should have a room in this condition.

A very enjoyable experience with Aman Ullah a lot of fun he is very friendly the way he approach the absolutely unbelievable.When see any gust he welcome everyone and thoroughly interesting activities to entertain the kids whilst the poolside was a relaxing atmosphere for me and my wife. The beach ⛱️ is amazing view very long beach.The swimming pool is very deep and large.I would like to recommend this hotel 5 Star service.Thak you Aman Ullah your hospitality and safety give us our children.👍👍👍👍

One of the best intercontinental hotels we have ever been too. Classy hotel and fantastic amenities. Shaheedah from Egypt did our checkin smoothly. Abdou helped with our bags. All the staff were well trained and took care of the guests. One thing that could be changed is someone should be attending at the checkin/check out counters to avoid annoying customers because no one could make out who was next in the queue. Food was amazing and the beach and pool awesome. Although in January when we went the sea water was too cold and very windy. So beach was difficult to swim in but the pool was temperature controlled. Great hotel and value for money. Also the pressure of the showers should be increased if possible. And better shampoo should be arranged too.

The hotel is large and has complete facilities. Half of it is sea water and half is mountain. It is a hotel between the mountain and the sea. Don't worry about the flavor. The breakfast is also delicious. The service attitude is also very good. Recommended

During my stay at one of their beautiful, clean villas, I had a wonderful experience. The staff, management, and the villa are very well maintained. You will feel as if you are staying at home. The location is highly recommended! For sure I will make reservation at this place when I am back to RAK :)

Seeing the recommendation of travel bloggers on Xiaohong, I chose to go on a weekend trip. It is a very beautiful tent hotel with many activities in the hotel. The breakfast is very good and very comfortable. If it is not time, it is best to stay for 2 nights!

I fixed it for me. He stayed for a total of 10 nights, and then I was guaranteed by my Visa credit card. The hotel is good but! !! !! Everyone must pay attention! Don't guarantee with a Visa credit card. I never filled my credit card with information, only this time. Then a month later, it was stolen a few days ago! Although it is tens of dollars, but the staff of this hotel is too unreliable. Sorry for this brand. No such thing happened to Waldorf as I lived elsewhere. My uncle also said that the hotel had Indian waiters and the attitude was not good. I hope everyone has a heart, don't use visa abroad! !!

The place is very new, rooms are big, bed is very comfortable and pool is very nice. Restaurant is good and the food choices are many.

We have recently returned from the most wonderful break at the Double tree Hilton Hotel in Marjhan Island, our second time in this relaxing environment. We had a night flight from Bham and landed about 8am in Dubai, we had the complimentary hotel transport from and to the airport and i had emailed ahead of time to ensure this was secured. At check in we had to wait a couple of hours for a room, but we new this from our previous visit so had packed swim stuff in our hand luggage but after wandering around and grabbing some food this wasn’t a huge issue for us. There is a tax to pay on check in approx £60. We opted to stay in the bay view rooms, having been upgraded to these on our first visit we didn’t want to miss out on the spacious room and the wonderful views. I had emailed ahead requesting a higher floor and we were fortunate to be granted this with Ade our brilliant housekeeper looking after us. These rooms are incredible with a rainforest shower and huge bath. Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries are replaced daily, as are towels, robes are also available. With these rooms there is a separate dining room, with a huge buffet choice at every meal. There are themed nights of German and Asian foods but otherwise international - and plentiful, as a vegetarian i had many options. The service within the restaurant was unbelievable with glasses being topped up and service constantly. We would like to mention several staff who made our dining experience - Maisie who makes the most lovely omelettes and listens when you say ‘well cooked’, Sailu and Ganesh went above and beyond with refreshments and Tim who checked at each meal that we had what we needed. There is a traffic light system advising when there are the busiest and quieter times. We ate breakfast at the Meze restaurant several times as this alternative was included too. There is the option to eat at the speciality restaurants with a deduction 60AED per person at each meal. We ate at The Anchor a couple of times and would definitely recommend the food, and the lunchtime buffet at the brasserie was plentiful and all included - there are so many food options. We sunbathed on the beach most days and beach towels can be obtained daily. Sun loungers and umberella’s were plentiful, we did secure our early as we are early risers enjoying the quietness of the morning. The beach is heavenly and the sea is beautiful. We purchased an inflatable from the site shop which cost approximately £35. Seems a lot but well worth the money as we opted for the one that allows the body to float in the water whilst supported, this enabled us to remain cool in the heat and lie in the sea reading and relaxing. We took towel pegs but these aren’t really needed as not windy. Worth taking goggles and the sea is crystal clear and fish are visible. One recommendation is to take a walk outside of the hotel. The hotel is a bit old, many things are a bit old, the worst is the pillows, too bad, I slept for two days, my neck is stiff, the bedding is not worth the price of 2,000 a night, just a few hundred standards, the bathroom There is no water blocking. The whole bathroom floor is full of water. The safety hazard is too big and it is easy to slip. The 3 swimming pools in the whole hotel are okay. They are full of people during the day. This hotel is definitely the hotel with the most people affected by the epidemic. Many tourist groups, meals are included in the room rate, buffets, restaurants are too crowded, the market is the same. I won't come to live anymore. It's really bad, sorry for the price.
