This was mine and my husbands first stop on our two week Italian vacation. We landed in Florence and took a lovely scenic road to the hotel. Staff was very welcoming when we arrived and during our time at the hotel. We opted for the room with the terrace (33) and the views were wonderful. Would recommend staying here again.

Villa Campomaggio is absolutely amazing. Located in perfect area close to 3 must-see Chianti towns (Radda, Greve, Gaoli) the resort is quaint and perfectly Tuscan (i.e. exactly what you want your place in Tuscany to look like). The communication prior to arrival was excellent and the directions to get there were spot on. The grounds and the stone buildings are impeccable and exactly what you want in a Tuscan Estate. The Team members at Campomaggio were extremely helpful with any and all needs you had. We rented a Deluxe Suite (1 Bedroom) for a very reasonable rate and the room was HUGE with King Bed, spa bedroom, chair and table to work. sofa to relax on - couldn't ask for more and great 4 nights. The bar and breakfast were lovely and affordable and my wife had an outstanding deep tissue massage at the spa. The pool was perfect and there are so many "cute" little areas to sit - relax - enjoy a bottle of wine or an Aperol Spritz. We will 100% come back to Villa Campomaggio next year!!

The hotel is stunning and well located for wine tasting nearby. However, the restaurant should be avoided at all costs. Our bruschetta was rock hard and pasta tasteless, and our table cleared halfway through our meal during a toilet break.

An hour or so south of Florence by car. And easy to find. The walk up from the car park to the hotel reception is tricky with luggage because of the path. The hotel from this side and from the poo; side is beautiful. As are the views away from the hotel. We had a junior suite on the 2nd floor and it was a good size. Nice and big and with a lovely big bathroom. The only criticism of the bathroom would be the shower which had a weak flow and should have more than the one outlet. The bedroom had a very annoying flashing light. In addition there was no iron. And none available in the hotel. The hotel spa was somewhere we didn’t visit. The pool area was beautiful. Sufficient loungers with cushions and towels. Well landscaped and space between the various areas. The pool was circular and large. Really nice views too. Breakfast was fine. On a beautiful terrace with cover if required. A good selection and cooked to request if selected. All in all a great spot and beautifully presented. My only serious problem was with the people who flew a drone over the pool area throughout breakfast on the final day. It was very annoying and intrusive. Why didn’t the hotel staff stop it?

The grounds are beautiful. Great spot for pictures and you can see that management takes advantage of hosting many instagram influencers. Yet I had mixed feelings about the place. We stayed in the apartment which would have been gorgeous if more attention to maintenance had been made. It was a little gloomy and the kitchen and living room were dark and shabby. The hotel is clean but not spotless.

It's hard to describe how great this place really was! Sabrina and the team answered so many questions for me before we arrived, and they were so helpful in their recommendations. They remembered the room that I wanted and did not disappoint. I got exactly what I was hoping for!! The sunset views, and all the views really, from this place were just incredible. Indescribable really. The staff were all so friendly and helpful from the front desk to the bar and restaurant. Breakfast every day was such a nice treat. Thank you for a wonderful experience. I will be back!

If you want to experience heaven on earth this is a property you need to book! Excellent staff, spacious rooms, delicious dining, and views to die for.
