The location is very good, the gate is facing the fort, the back door is quiet, you can enjoy the scenery in any direction, and it is very close to the main scenic spots in Quebec, and you can get there just by walking around. The hotel is all self-service, and it is the first time I have encountered such a full self-service check in/out. Check-in only gave the front door password, so I couldn't check in anyway, and a young lady came to help complete the check-in time at 3 o'clock. The hotel is an old building with a very high space. There is a small balcony outside the room. The room is well-equipped with coffee machines, refrigerators, and milk muffins bought in supermarkets. The room is not big, the bed is big, and the wardrobe is OK.
All of Quebec is on my liking. The atmosphere at night is great, and it’s also great on rainy days. I like everything. The time was three or four days earlier, the mountains near the airport were full of red leaves, and the urban area was almost there. I think I will go again.

This place is affordable and few steps from the tourist area within the Old Quebec area. Although the hotel has no staff, the customer service is very responsive. The only downside is the lack of parking and you have to use stairs so not good if you have a luggage.

Parking too far, had to carry bags for half a mile in a hilly terrain! No service or staff. Lost power in one night - nobody to reach easily.

We only stayed overnight. Power went out in the building within an hour of our arrival at 9 pm. Thankfully husband is handy. Maintenance guy told my husband what to do by phone as he wasn’t close by. Lots of stairs to carry luggage. Quaint nice room. Super clean. Great location to cruise ship. Provided coffee, shampoo, hair dryer. Nice beds.

The location is fun with a canon out front. It is an easy walk to food and historic sites. I had an issue with hot water the first day and they fixed it quickly. The lack of staff on the site was not a problem for check-in and I doubt it made any difference concerning the hot water. I would stay here again. Quieter than being on a main shopping street.

This automated thing is not for us. We had a terrible time getting the codes to work. We are older and this process was completely foreign to us. There was an issue with hot water but they compensated us without us even asking.

The description and photos on the ******* site were not what we found when we arrived at this property. We were allocated a small, grubby, dark outdated room.
The noise from the large a/c unit outside our external door was so loud it kept us awake nearly all night. The door to the outside space did not not lock properly so we felt unsafe. The stairs to the rooftop terrace were unlit and the railings were insecure. The bed was propped up on wooden blocks taped together, and there was a hole in the bathroom wall.
I understand that this is an unmanned property but when you encounter issues like this, there should be a point of contact so they can be resolved, this is not the case here.

Liked the location. The room itself was average, however the bathroom needed some work, looked like mould on some of the grout and on the ceiling.
Storage is lacking there as well, no where to put toiletries.
