The hotel room is spacious and clean. It has a great location about 5 min walk to the train station and the beach. The service was super good, satisfying all the needs of customers. Besides a free good breakfast, they provided afternoon tea for both days even though we stayed only for one night. There is also a free upgrading of room for our next booking. Very friendly and warm staffs.

positive points: location is very good, right outside of metro station, and very easy to travel around for all main sight seeings locations. Did not book breakfast here, but there are a lot of options just down stairs, we quite like the breakfast we had during our trip. Negative points: we booked 3 economy room - though we had the expectation that it won't be nice rooms, but one room we get on level 8 is really next level - weird and strong smells upon entering, likely no one has lived in the room for quite some time. The door is faulty and hard to close, lots of dust in the room. We try to talk with the front desk for a change but it did not really get through. We have then talk about this with customer service in trip.com and they have agreed immediately to change a better room for us, really appreciate the help from trip.com. the rest 2 rooms on level 5 are still ok (though they are very small rooms in general so you shall manage your expectations there if you choose the economy room) Overall, super good location, staff is generally ok but you need to find the correct way to escalate if your experience is really bad. And manage your expectations if choosing the economy room - I personally will not choose this room type again.

Trip gives the impression this is a five star hotel. It's not. It is 4 star. It is also quite dated. It's not bad, but it's far from great. Again, Trip gives the impression that it much better than it is. It's quite a worn out place with rooms in desperate need of a makeover. It also lacks charm or a feel of sophistication. Just kink of bland, really. Also, you can really taste the savings at the breakfast buffet. Again, not bad, but really cheap and bland. The one stand out was the Chinese food I ordered for room service.

This is our 2nd time staying here with good service provided. Staffs are helpful and attentive to hotel guest. Thank you Koala, Hazley & those who was on duty during our stay. Hope all staffs can keep the same services to all guests. Thank you.

Get In Touch With Your Inner Child! As the photos show, this is actually the family room, but we were just 2 adults and loved the kiddy toys and foam mat for wrestling. It really helped trigger our inner child to come out and play again, which is about the best way to decompress after spending endless hours doing mundane office work. This family room is on the 12 floor, which is not too high meaning it's just a few flights walk down to 6 floor where you can enter the huge MixC Mall for cocktails, restaurants etc. The only grip is the plumbing. As you can see from the pic the bathroom has no ledge between the show and the rest of the bathroom so water seeps out when you are showering. But this is with many of the apartments in this block. The whole block has some wack plumbing design. and a last note, this is not brand hotel so no central a/c. So it may be a good idea to inform them ahead if you know your arrival time so someone can turn the a/c on — otherwise you could be entering a sweat lodge!

Well, Crown Plaza is our usual our favorite hotel and also our first-choice hotel in Qingdao city and naturally chose the Crowne Plaza Qingdao again. The hotel hasn’t lost any of its avantgarde charm. Furthermore, the employees are still as professional and helpful as I remember them from the last time (this time I would like to mention Ms. Fanny from the front desk, hassel-free check in that was quick and we were given a free upgrade) . The rooms are spacious, and the amenities will cater to every whim. The convenient location is an added bonus, which doesn’t need to be mentioned separately as the hotel location which is near to five four squares.

We were there for my wife birthday, the location was amazing and most of things were great ( we had a minor problems with bed and pillow) but the rest of things were wonderful. front desk staff were very kind and helpful.they sent a beautiful cake along with nice message to our room from hotel management and made a memorable moment for us. The hotel breakfast was perfect as well ,western and Chinese food were available.we recommend this hotel to our friends.

Every time I come to Qingdao, I stay at Century Mandarin. Every time I come, I am very satisfied and happy. This time, the front desk lady upgraded the room again. Thank you very much. The room also has a small refrigerator. I didn't know there were spotlights when I was working at night, so I asked the front desk for a desk lamp. Later, I found that it was actually quite bright when the spotlights were turned on. Every time I stay at Century Mandarin, the bed is very comfortable. It is the kind of soft and supportive, which is very rare for me with a bad waist. The hotel's breakfast is also delicious and convenient. Another advantage here is that no matter when you come, there are basically rooms, because the volume is very large, and because there are many rooms, they will not be very full, so it is very quiet when you sleep these days, and the sound insulation is also very good. I wish Century Mandarin will always be prosperous, and you can book Century Mandarin every time you come without thinking, haha!
