The worst thing that happened to me out of over 30 hotels I visited - including 5 in Egypt. Nice buildings, nice beach and reef. What's the point if the hotel has been empty and falling into disrepair for two years, and any work was started at the beginning of July, and ineptly. The grass was laid, but it was not watered, so it withered, and in my case the bedding was not even replaced - it was two years old. Dirty windows, water dripping from the shower, air conditioning not working in the dining room - because it cannot be called a restaurant. Half of the hotel - with the Spa zone, restaurants and children's swimming pool - is unusable without several months of renovation. Water was released into one of the pools, but it turned green after a few days. The hotel manager says the pool is ok. The slides that are there sometimes don't work. The food is a separate topic - the cheapest you can find in stores and terribly prepared - rubbery chicken, hard liver and always squid. Raw vegetables and no oil or any spices, except pepper and salt. Huge shortages, there were no cups, toilet paper, drinks in the dispensers, butter or margarine, sometimes water in the taps. The snacks (pancakes) ran out after 20 minutes. The staff did their best, but during the stay the animators and some of the waiters left due to lack of pay. The music at the pool and in the dining room is played at full volume, often Arabic hits, because most of the guests come from Egypt. It is not possible to talk freely while eating, by the pool or in the evening in the only open bar. Alcohol is the cheapest it can be and everything with it tastes terrible. During our stay, the tour operator moved us to another hotel and withdrew this hotel from its offer. We had just started our vacation in the hotel to which we were transferred.
