We stayed at this hotel from 28th June for 11 nights. The owner and family were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was very clean, with a compact bathroom with a proper walk-in shower. There was always plenty of hot water. Our breakfast was included, and there was a fair amount of choice. It is a short walk from the restaurants, shops in the village, also the beach and castle.

Great, modern hotel Close walking distance to everything. Staff was very polite and attentive…couldn’t ask for more. Rooms were well appointed and very clean. Great reception/lounge area. Breakfast was superb with many choices and made fresh to your liking

At short notice we needed to find somewhere for just one night in and around Methoni, and the Achilles Hotel fitted the bill perfectly. It’s a modern building just a short walk from the village centre, and looks to be family run. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Our room was basic, clean, and just what we wanted. Good breakfast – what more do you need for a short stay in Methoni??

Sophisticated ambiance in rural Methoni and an exceptional hotel staff aimed to please. It’s our second time here and we wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Methoni Castle , the beach and town square is very close walking distance. Just a ten min drive away is Pykos - another charming town with a vibrant town square surrounded by boutique stores, restaurants and views of the ocean coastline. An hour further is the excavation of Ancient Messini and it’s museum. Certainly worth the drive to explore this amazing historical site.

Booked the hotel for two nights as part of our road trip around the Peloponnese and was just what we wanted. It is situated in the perfect position, a short five minutes to the stunning Methoni Castle and the village centre for evening meals. Staff very friendly and attentive. Room had all you needed including tea and coffee. Bit cramped but the huge balcony more than compensated. Obviously covid meant breakfast was presented to you but the array of offerings was huge. Eggs how you liked them, bacon, fruit, yoghurt, jams, cakes, pies, muesli and a variety of coffees. Regards evening meals, tried the top two on TA and preferred Palia Astoria of the two.

Mooi en goed hotel met prachtig zeezicht , goede bedden en vriendelijk personeel, mooi en groot zwembad en lekker ontbijt buiten bij een mooi uitzicht over Methoni. Ligt aan een steile weg dus je moet wel een beetje kunnen klimmen.
