A short but great trip. it was our first time in Cap Cana, and as soon as we walked into TRS the service was absolutely amazing. I am a travel agent, so this was more to promote my experience to my future clients. The welcome drink was amazing, the atmosphere was very modern and chic. Both guest service personnel were great. Stephanie our butler truly went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. The resort is small but just what we were looking for as we have experienced larger resorts, and the service is not the best. Javier the Chef at TRS was also very nice and attentive. Very skillful chef. The food was top of line. My favorite was the ceviche, and the rib steak at the Caribbean restaurant, typical Dominican food which I love. The pool and marina were amazing! Love that they play bachata and Dominican music as we are in DR. Not a beach resort, however always beautiful to see the sunset on the marina. The room was very comfortable with a beautiful view of the marina. We will most definit3ley stay again and for more days. Will definitely recommends! Thank you for the service!

My stay was overall great, the room looked good and comfortably accommodated 3 persons with the bed, sofa bed area, the nice kitchen with a big fridge and appliances, and the bathroom was big and looked great.
The staff were great and very accommodating, very friendly and helpful in every way.
My only complaint would be the lack of insect control. I believe it’s due to the high door that insects can easily crawl under and get inside. Numerous small insects, mosquitoes and even a small lizard at one point were found in the room (compliments to the male front desk worker who came and tried helping to remove the lizard that night). Also cobwebs and dust (minimal) in the ceiling and on the surfaces of high appliances respectively. Seems as though the room I got hadn’t been used in awhile.
But overall a wonderful stay.

My wife and I stayed at this all inclusive resort for 4 days in late December 2022. On the positive side, the rooms were spacious and clean and the AC worked and the hotel was not too expensive. I guess you get what you pay for. On the negative side: - If you stay at the ”Royal” Hotel--which is the adults only part, and you are driving yourself, there are NO SIGNS indicating where that entrance is relative to the ”main entrance”...so we stupidly waited to check in for 20 minutes only to be told we were in the wrong lobby (which meant getting our bags back into the car and driving to the unmarked separate entrance). We should have known at this point that things would be less easy than we expected. - Their restaurant reservation system is totally screwed up (you actually have to QR scan each restaurant —they have 5— to make your own reservation—so if one is full then you go to the next and if that one is full you go to the next—totally crazy. There is no central restaurant reservation system. - Food is all you can eat but you would not want to. The sushi at the Asian restaurant was 95% rice and 5% fish. The fish offerings are mostly fried not grilled. The vegetables are miserly. Some restaurants simply do not offer a salad or vegetables. At the beach restaurant we ordered Nachos and guacamole and received a bowl full of nachos and one spoonful of guacamole! Water is served in small individual bottles which is so bad for the environment - We humored someone and let them pitch us their “exclusive travelclub”; big mistake, big waste of time, don’t fall for it - No one tells you that there is a check out procedure that is meant to ensure that you did not steal any of their beach towels……so I guess this is the kind of hotel/chain that attracts people who like to walk away with hotel towels….draw your own conclusions. - The staff are friendly but completely un-able to make any decision on their own or that might somehow deviate from their “procedures” (allowing you to sit at a table in a “closed off” area of a restaurant, redeeming your massage vouchers, expediting your check out, etc.

The hotel was fabulous in that it was clean, spacious, modern, and had a calm business vibe. It is set outside of the main Madrid attractions, which is nice for business travelers. If you are traveling to see the sites, you will need to take an Uber/ taxi, which is about 15-20 minutes per traffic and time of day. It's not bad, but not ideal if you want to walk out from your hotel and be in the action. Apart from location, the front desk staff are super friendly and helpful, the hotel has a modern vibe, and has some cool restaurants located around its vicinity. Im a huge fan of AC hotels now because of this beauty we stayed at in Madrid! Although its kinda far from the attractions, I'd still return and stay at this location again and refer it to future travelers!

Hey all! As you have all expressed your fantastic thoughts, opinions and tips. I thought I would do the same. Your helpful hints and explanations were a great guide for us and I hope to do the same! A little background….we are a family of 4 (kid 10/4) traveling with another family of 4 (10/8). We had a master bedroom suite (club room 2311). We all went to the Finest last year and had a wonderful time as well. We have traveled to the DR frequently. 1. Arrival- we decided to do VIP arrival only because last year we were 30 minutes delayed from Newark and immagration took almost two hours and it was a night mare for us. The other party we flew with did not but the VIP and they were at the resort about 45 minutes after us. So in the end because of my 4 year old it was worth it. We started the vacation in the right mood VIP picks you up by golf cart from the plane to the VIP lounge. Your attend brings you in take your passports and transportation information and you are free to roam the small lounge. Soda, water beer wine and snacks are all there for your taking. She took our bag claim ticket to receive our luggage within 5 minutes we were out and off with beer wine water snacks in hand. They have a lovely bathroom (that we were barely able to use because it was so quick). We used destination meeting point for transfer without an problems… 25 minutes later we pulled up 2. We were greeted immediately, offered our name and was given our baggage tags. Whisked off to club lounge where we started the quick check in process. I asked to be introduced to our butler and Will was there waiting for us. He was the best! We saw him everyday he helped with reservations for 8. On the club level you can have bottle of non brand wine and liquor with mixers brought to your room. He made sure there was a bottle of wine and Dominican rum with mixers case of water, he would have cheese and crackers sent to our room chocolate covered strawberries alll without asking. He set up our room cleaning times and was a pleasure to be around. I will note we gave him $30 on check in $10 in between and $50 on our wait out. He was worth it in our opinion Key here is ask for what you are offer, need and want. Tip appropriate and all things will come to you 😀🤣 2. Our room was amazing spacious and lovely. We were 2311 (building 2) (floor 3) (11). If you are ocean view you want the last two number to be lower. The lower the number the closer to the beach! 3. I thought the food was amazing considering AI and the Finest last year. Remotest noodle and thread a must. The buffet Mercado was great too. Breakfast amazing and had some great dinner nights too We did waves for adults only dinner. Considering DR it was good. But if you are steak person you might be over the moon The coffee shop and ice pops and desserts are fantastic! 4. The resort is beautiful. Maintained impeccably and super clean The beach was fantastic ! Yes ladies and gentlemen there is sea**** this time of ye

The experience was great! The entertainment team was lovely and the shows were awesome! The sports bar was also a great place to watch sports and play cards. Check in and check out were both a breeze! My girlfriend and I both got sick while on vacation (strep throat, but it is common for us both), and the staff were so helpful in helping us get food, linens, and just checking in while we stayed in our room. There is a doctor on site so it was great to be able to get to be seen and get some antibiotics. The resort was clean, and there was never trouble getting anything you needed. The app was great for any needs, and it was very efficient. The food was good for me, and okay for my partner. There were lots of options so you could always find something you liked. We were there in the offseason, so not everything was open, but we still had lots of variety.

GGuest UserOcean Blue is a medium size resort. Not small. Not huge like Iberostar. However it has lots of fine dining (5) onsite just like the huge ones. Their beach is perfect with lots of free cabana like shaded seating. Only surprise was our scuba shop was onsite but actual dive boat was 2 resorts down the beach at Iberostar. A 10 minute walk, no problem. This side of island a bit choppy for diving. Smoother on South side. Resort super clean, safe and friendly staff. More young families and older couples. No Spring Break teens! Highly recommend this resort for families.
DDagumaijiushiwanerThere are flamingos, good beer, and the female receptionist who checked me in was super friendly. There is a beautiful beach and seaside. There are singing and magic shows in the reception bar at night. Every female waiter I met was very good, warm and friendly. The male waiters ranged from very nice to unfriendly.
VVidal ClaramonteIt has been a pleasant stay. The customer service provided by the hotel has been satisfactory in general. The all-inclusive offer could be improved from my point of view. And for that price it could have included the transfer. Improvable facilities, especially the gym, which is not suitable for this hotel, is very small and inaccessible, it seems like a maze to enter. And the spa is also very poor and not even included in the offer of the all-inclusive package with a superior room. When in Spain 90% is included both services, transfer and spa. Great hotel, great chain, but my face of satisfaction for some other things remains indifferent for that reason... The variety in the food buffet was not too much either... it is compensated by the customer service and the environment of virgin beaches. Then a detail is the overweight in terms of street vendors outside and inside the enclosure...even with the massages...
ЕЕкатерина БондаренкоI liked everything very much. I am very glad that I chose this hotel. Delicious and varied food. Friendly staff and top notch service. The rooms and grounds are very clean. We don't want to leave
GGuest UserThis was our first time in Dominicana and we chose this hotel because our tour operator said it was new and we actually liked the pics (they are real by the way, not like in the majority of the hotels where they post only the best to attract guests). First thing that impressed us was that all staff was wearing masks at all times everywhere: inside and outside! No matter if they were showing sport exercises, cleaning or dancing in the lobby in the evening, they were always in masks! Then sanitizers everywhere . Temperature control at the entrance to the hotel and to all restaurants. The staff also makes sure you are wearing a mask and gloves when picking food. Everyone was polite helping and smiling all the time. I will name only some people here just because I didn't take photos of all names, so sorry if I didn't name you. All receptionists were ready to help and solve any problem you have. Bieavenido (thanks for late night talk, now I know when is the Independence day in Dominicana!😊). All our requests were satisfied within 5-15minutes (not Dominican minutes👆🤣). Guys at the restaurant all who were welcoming, thank you for giving us masks and gloves when we were too overwhelmed with holiday activities and forgot to get them🙈. Thank you for always wishing us good morning, nice day and smiling! Guys who take orders inside the restaurants and my Spanish teachers😅 Ramon, Antonio, Wilsoooooon Rincon, muchos gracias! They always ask you how you are, remember your orders and bring them before you think about it. Mariia Soriano and Andy from lobby bar- the smiliest girl and boy ever! Thank you for your Russian and Ukrainian, keep learning, next time I come I will check up on your progress! 🤣 Animation team- you are beyond human abilities!!! Fly yoga, yoga on surf boards, volleyball, water polo(I think it was water polo😅), water bikes in the swimming pool, sexy dancing, jumping on little trampolines..Ruben & Jason, my sister Debora(best breeds from you!❤)and my evening salsa teacher Coca -Cola(don't lose uno in bachata anymore😉). Love you guys! 🥰 I will always remember all of you, how you invited to take part in the activities, how you were showing everything step by step, your patience, your unique personalities. The best chef on this planet Wander Montilla with amazingly beautifully looking and heavenly tasting dishes. 😋 Thank you for your unforgettable dinner at the stake house restaurant! Also, the cooking show in Asian restaurant is worth seeing! The food is amazing and the products are high quality. We are more than happy with our rest!
Punta Cana Princess STOPPED IN TIME ! This is my seventh trip to the Dominican Republic in the last 20 years. Tourism is becoming more massive and the quality is falling. I love the Dominican people, their generosity and friendliness. As the quality of services is falling, the friendliness of the staff is not always enough to satisfy customers. The lack of training and leadership among the staff at the various hotels and resorts is very clear. The Punta Cana Princess is a very small resort and it would seem simple to keep quality under control at a high level... unfortunately this is not the case at the Punta Cana Princess. I even wondered if they had given up on doing more and better. I have no reason to say that it's a wasted vacation spot, but I left with the feeling that everything is done with minimal energy, minimal enthusiasm, minimal leadership, minimal effort, minimal customer focus, minimal glamour and where the notion of going the extra mile doesn't even exist. (See attached photos) Beach and pool: The beach is very beautiful and the area has little seaweed. The beach chair area is small and very poorly looked after. It's very dirty and the sun beds are old and dilapidated. The straw is rotten and full of termites and other worms that cause many bites on the legs. The pool is large and in urgent need of maintenance (see photos). There are very few sun umbrellas and there is hardly any shade around the pool. Gardens: Perhaps the strongest and most pleasant point of the resort as the maintenance and cleanliness is exemplary and the spaces very large and green. HI-FI: (See photo) Ridiculous service. Impossible in 2024 they want to charge for a terrible service when the free service is not available 90% of the time. The speed delivered 10Mb is completely out of our time. Is the leadership of this hotel asleep? Animation: Basically non-existent. The Punta Cana Princess is for adults only and is actually frequented by older guests who are perhaps looking for calm and quiet. Anyone looking for parties and lots of entertainment shouldn't choose this resort. The entertainers have no ability to create empathy and there are embarrassing moments when you see the entertainers asking people with a lot of pressure to participate in the few beach and pool animations. I observed that they treat older people in the same way as they would twenty-year-olds which makes communication with customers very difficult. Rooms: Very large and with an interesting design. Excellent cleanliness. Fridge stocked with drinks without fail. The furniture is in urgent need of maintenance, as are the metal fittings and bathroom fittings (see photo). No problems with the air conditioning in my room. There are only two electrical sockets, which is insufficient for me. Restaurants and bars: The bars deliver a minimal service and the staff are inexpressive and unsympathetic, as in other departments there are no smiles and sometimes not even a simple “good morning”. GGuest UserThe hotel is big and super nice
The beach was not top I understood that the period was not the best one.
In term of foods super nice especially the idea of having dinner à la carte. That changes front thé buffet
The animation team is cool and you can not get bored
Highly recommend for couples or family
JJuliette BernadetteWe had an okay trip to DR. The “hotel” is more like apartments, and people do seem to live here actually also. The rooftop pool is so awesome, and literally the best part of the place. The room is clean, but we killed probably 4-5 cockroaches in the room. Stove was all rusty. When arriving, the door didn’t lock & we were 2 women in their early 20s who are both > 130lbs. When requesting a new room, they “fixed” the door and refused to give us a new room. Scary location - we didn’t feel safe walking around at night here as women. Also, were scammed by a very nearby restaurant called “Bohio Punta Cana”. Free breakfast was awesome. No conditioner, only shampoo and “gel”? No hand soap. The shower seems to be salt water. I would honestly recommend staying on a resort if you come to DR, otherwise you might never want to come back.
HHerreraThe hotel does not look like the pictures. When I got yo my room, on the first night my room smelled of urine, as if person who was belied me peed and the hotel doesn’t clean it. It was unbearable, I had to ask reception to come and sort it out because I wasnt going to be able to sleep with that smell. The housekeeper came and she swiped the floor and it was much better.
The toilet handle was broken despite the water flushing.
The room smelled out humidity.
Not very sure of they changed the sheets needles I got there or even after.
The food was all artificial food, nothing organic. All drinks were from those sachets. Even the sprite tasted different :/
On NYE the food was much better, there were good choices, but still artificial.
Overall, it wasn’t that bad, a lot of people seemed to be okay with it. I am very picky so I notice everything.
