Hotel Scaletta is in a great location, about 3 minutes walk from the amphitheatre and start of the historic city. Parking is a few minutes walk away so its best to drop your bags first. Check in was fabulous, very helpful and friendly and even showed me a video of how to get to the parking after I parked in the wrong place. Our room was a good size with both AC and window shutters and lovely decor and personal touches. There was no kettle (a pain for me as I usually have my first tea at 6AM) although you could get tea and coffee from the restaurant downstairs. We also found the internet connection kept dropping so ended up tethering our mobiles to use instead. Breakfast was outside and down the steps to a room under the hotel, a large and grand location. Breakfast was included in the price and a good start to the day but the choice was more limited than the other hotels on this trip. A good value for money break though.

Wonderful hotel - very nice breakfast - extremely helpful staff. The room was exactly what I was looking for, very close to the Pula Arena (Ampitheatre) and the bus station, for a 1-night stay. The hotel staff helped with all of my questions and was very helpful when I needed language help.

Great location around 20 minutes from the airport,super friendly staff,the hotel is very clean and the rooms are great,breakfast is buffet style with a good choice of food,hotel is within walking distance of coliseum and town centre.will definitely return.

What to say... the hotel is more like an Italian "pensione" in the sense it's family-run, it's cozy, it's friendly and it's like being in your own flat at the seaside. Plus it's at the doorstep of the Amphitheatre and 5 minutes from the bus station. Lovely staff, so kind, so helpful. Breakfast was fantastic with a great selection of hams, cheeses, fruit, jams etc. The room was lovely and spacious. A couple of things did not work 100% but it did not mind at all. We will definitely choose Scaletta next time we'll be in Pula. Grazie mille per tutto, per la vostra ospitalita' e gentilezza

A small hotel where the staff strives to create a family atmosphere. They are very pleasant and attentive. The hotel is ideal if you want to be close to the amphitheater. The only problem is parking, but hotel staff can help. they serve a simple breakfast, the quality of the food is not at the very top, but it doesn’t matter, you certainly won’t stay hungry. This is an example of a hotel where the staff makes a difference

Very nice and lovely place, good located with very kind and polite staff. Rooms are very nice and clean and they have all that you need for a great holiday. The noise could be better and that's all :)

Small but comfortable hotel, within walking distance of the bus station and a stone's throw from the amphitheater. The young owners make you feel truly at home. Comfortable and spacious room, even the bathroom of the right size is not narrow or suffocating. At the moment breakfast is served in the former restaurant room at the foot of the steps. Offer varies between sweet and savory.

The previous reviews date from 2021 for the most recent. Despite a friendly welcome we cannot say that we were satisfied: the room overlooking the street is very noisy, access is difficult with luggage because the entrance overlooks a street with stairs and after there is no elevator, breakfast in a small room is mainly composed of industrial foods wrapped in plastic (croissants etc.). Other inconveniences which I think are occasional but which fell on us: our bathtub was dirty, with hairs, the cleaning lady had to shake a carpet without rinsing it, the time to carry our luggage to the hotel we received a fine (5 minutes), the parking is not very close ... in short I think the hotel has seen better days but it is no longer at the level of a 3 *, 2 * would be more appropriate. We changed rooms to one located at the back on the 2nd floor. Bad experience, we need to review the copy because a one-off problem can always occur and we are quite patient but here we still encountered too much dissatisfaction.
