This hotel was perfect from the minute we arrived until the minute we left. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean and the staff take a lot of pride in their work. Our room was huge with everything we needed. Showering, while looking through the porthole then outside to the sea is breathtaking . Having sunbeds on the balcony is a must for us and these did not disappoint as they were really comfortable. Breakfast was beautifully fresh everyday with a varied choice which is brought out fresh to you. A 5 minute walk brings you to the marina where we ate most nights. Will definitely return.

This hotel has excellent quality rooms with huge balconies areas with two sun beds, a table and chairs and sun umbrella so if you want privacy you have it without having to sit around the pool. The beds are so comfortable with great pillows. Most of the staff were very pleasant and helpful especially the longer serving gentleman in the restaurant and the dark haired lady on reception (sorry I did not get your names). Francisco in the restaurant only started this week and although initially nervous he really gained confidence after a few days and was very pleasant. We would recommend this hotel if you want peace and quiet but this is not a place to stay if you want excitement or long evenings partying as the bar shuts at 6pm with no evening restaurant except a bbq/paella night on a Saturday and most of the residents are English and over 50. There was the typical thing of putting towels on sun beds every morning before breakfast with some left unoccupied for hours of the day - luckily with having large balconies this wasn’t too much of an issue but was laughable behaviour. We have been staying in Puerto Calero for many years and the town is now looking a little tired with most of the designer shops standing empty which is a real shame.

Lovely small boutique hotel, no fuss & quite. Excellent rooms with Queen sized super comfy bed, large bathroom with bath & rain shower. Balcony with sun loungers and table with chairs. Breakfast area with plenty of choice, also serves lunch & drinks manged 1st class by Gary & Mari. 10 min walk to marina were there are several restaurants. Great choice for couples & friends 🧡

Ever since returning to UK from living in South Africa we have been trying to find an escape from winter, we stayed in Secrets last year and saw this hotel as we walked to the marina and decided to try it. We are so glad we did, it is everything that we want, beautiful suites with huge terraces with table and chairs and comfortable sun-beds and above all great privacy. We have already booked to return in November and plan to have 4 lots of 2 weeks during the English winter. The hotel is spotlessly clean and all the staff were wonderful, special mention for Gary and Mari who work tirelessly at breakfast, difficult for them sometimes if everyone decides to come at once but they are always smiling. Breakfast is wonderful with fresh fruits and yogurts and muesli and then an A La Carte menu with everything cooked to order, wonderful fresh bread and pastries every day. We walked to the marina every evening where there are lovely restaurants to chose from and we never had a bad meal. With only 27 suites the hotel is quiet and perhaps not for anyone who wants music round the pool or evening entertainment but that is exactly what we wanted. The suites are amazing with fantastic wet room type bathrooms with a huge one way porthole window so that you can stand under the rain shower and look out to sea, there are also double sinks and a free standing bath, great quality towels and linen too. We brought our own spirits and nibbles and sat on our terrace with a drink before we went out to dinner. Hopefully we will be able to return for a few more years to come. We were on the top floor room 308 where the mini bar is replenished daily included in your room rate which saved us trips to the supermarket. There is a market twice weekly in the marina and the water bus runs between Puerto Calero and Puerta del Carmen if you decide you want a change.

A fantastic stay at the RMS. A well situated and presented hotel on the edge of Puerto Calero. A very modern hotel over 3 floors with a boutique look and feel. Large and very well presented suites - all with an ocean view. A comfortable bed with plenty of living space. The bathrooms are equally big (effectively a wet room with a rain effect shower, and bath). Very spacious and private balconies, with sun beds, mean the pool area is optional. Breakfast is plentiful with a cold buffet and cooked food to order. Some reviews comment on the lack of coffee in the room (purchased separately). Having read the reviews, we had our own. The pool area is immaculate. Single and double sun beds with a nice pool and jacuzzi. The poolside bar serves until 6pm (no evening meals with options in the marina, a 10 minute walk). RMS compliments a very relaxing holiday.

This proved to be the ideal choice for us. The hotel itself has been built and furnished to a very high standard and this is reflected in the attitude of the staff - all beyond criticism. Only a short walk to the marina where there is a varied choice of restaurants/bars. The whole area is impeccably clean and picturesque. Would highly recommend this for a couples holiday but not youngsters looking for late night entertainment ( there isn't any ). Only two trivial issues - no box of tissues and charging 2.5 euros for the coffee pods - really ! for a hotel of this quality. I know, really trivial but all the more irritating when everything else was so perfect !

Arrived after an early flight but our room unfortunately wasn’t ready. We were taken down to the pool area to have a drink and waited until it was ready. Rooms do have the wow factor – were on the top floor with fantastic views (305). As we were in a Royal Suite we had our mini bar / water / coffee replenished daily. The rooms are, as we could see were all exactly the same – wonderful. Bathroom was simply wonderful and huge. – all high end appliances, standalone bath, large rain water shower, double sinks and plenty to excellent quality towels. We did giggle at the bathrobes – if you are 3 foot and a size 8 they may fit, but for my husband who is over 6 foot and myself no longer a size 8, these did not fit. One of the advantages for us was the enormous balcony with again high end furniture – table, padded chairs and umbrella with two padded sun loungers. I have had 3 spinal surgeries and just recovering from a total right hip replacement, it was ideal for me. The sun was on the balcony all day, which allowed the choice of relaxing around the pool or on your own balcony. Pool area is simply beautiful – less is more if you know what I mean. Peace and quiet, just what the doctor ordered. Comfortable beds and a few step into the clean refreshing pool. The poolside bar serves drinks throughout the day only and reasonably priced. You also could order snacks/ lunch here too. Breakfast was delicious. You could order from the menu, full cooked breakfast, smoked salmon, omelets etc. Lots of fresh fruit, yoghurts, pastries etc from self service area. We did order lunch one day and this was again high quality and served in restaurant. The hotel is immaculately clean. Staff work relentlessly keeping high standards. The marina is only a short walk away if you don’t have mobility problems, maybe 8 minutes. You access the promenade from gates at the front of the hotel just off the pool with your room key. However, as you approach the marina there are around 20 steps down to the marina, which for anyone with mobility problems like myself it is an issue. A few shops and plenty of restaurants. There is also a supermarket at the marina. Hotel staff kindly ordered us a taxi to take us to the marina costing any where from 4.50 to 7.50 euros. We were advised the restaurant staff could ring for a taxi to return. Lots of restaurants – we had some lovely meals. We personally liked Azure and would advise booking as they were turning people away regularly. Being disabled we had asked for the disabled toilet to be opened near the pool as it was locked. It was only opened when asked a cleaner a day or two later. However – there was no hand soap or facilities to dry my hands. I hope this can be addressed. If you want a relaxing, tranquil, high end holiday than look no further. You won’t be disappointed. We will absolutely be returning in the future. Thank you for a lovely relaxing holiday. Deb & Dean

Small adult only boutique hotel consisting of just 27 suites. Very clean, very quiet and largely catering for mature couples. Friendly and very helpful staff. Lovely breakfast options included. Ten minute stroll to port and a variety of bars & restaurants.

We love this hotel and we hope to return. There's nothing I think they need to do to change. Absolutely nothing. Coffee pods 2euros. It's not an issue really is it. We stayed in room 208. I think it is the best view and balcony I have ever had in 30 years of travelling. Breakfast staff absolutely amazing. Everyone friendly and professional. The town is small and lots of the designer shops have closed down. We walked to Puerto del Carmen and it took an hour and drizzle turned into heavy rain it was actually quite dangerous and slippy I wouldn't do it again. Only tiny issue some things were binned by the cleaner bottle tops we'd probably left on floor and we left it on the sofa a plastic bag from the shop we visited. I know it seems trivial but we were going to put some laundry in the bag for the return journey. Just a sign of how thorough she is! The room was thoroughly cleaned and the smell was devine. Loved every minute thank you Mrs Godfrey. X
