Assolutamente da consigliare un soggiorno, anche prolungato, a Domodossola e in particolare in questo accogliente alloggio, confortevole e rilassante e con il fascino dell'atmosfera storica data dall'edificio in cui si trova (bellissimo l'affaccio sulla ”Corte” dal terrazzo con gli archi di cui la mia dolce Metà si è ”innamorata”..). Ma il ”Valore Aggiunto” è dato da Marinella, proprietaria e gestore degli alloggi, simpatica e ”pacata”, disponibile e cordiale: ”Chicca nella Chicca”.. Speriamo di non dover far trascorrere troppo tempo per tornare: la bella e tranquilla cittadina è circondata dalle montagne e punto di riferimento per escursioni varie anche con ”Trenini” verso Locarno o Berna, in Svizzera, ma anche in Terra ”Italica”.. Ed è assai piacevole tornare al Residence per godere del suo ”Romantico Confort”..

This was the summers hotel surprise. The hotel is located directly on the main square of old city of Domodossola in a small old city building. To get to it you need to walk the last few meters. I took the chance to drive in but was told to get the car outside the area asap. I had to park in a public space. The hotel is completely updated the last years. There are 6 rooms in total I believe. We had a large room on the top with a mezzanine so we could sleep 4. The room was clean and very nice. Free wifi and frezeer in the room. The stairs were tiny, since it is a small house, but there is also a small elevator so no issues with luggage. The breakfast room is the most fantastic breakfast room I have ever seen. Fantastic cellar with vaulted roof (see pictures). The location turned out to be superb, with the main square directly outside with all the restaurants. Domodossola is a fantastic small old city close to the alps and are most certainly a small gem that most tourists has not found yet. We will be back some time!

My wife an i had fire nights in hotel Eurossola, and staude in the newly opened junior suite at the top floor. We also had one dinner at the Michelin restaurant celebrating my wife 60 birthday with our «kids» coming from Norway as a surprise. The hotel offers the unique combination of a very nice family hotel close to the railway station and a top restaurant. You also find that the quality and attention to details from a top kitchen also is a part of everything in the hotel. Very friendly and entusiastic straff and owners. All in all one of the best hotel experiences i have had!

Fabulous hotel. Amazing service from all the restaurant staff and the lovely Martine. Room was amazing. Upgraded to a suite on arrival with the most stunning views. Attention to detail in this hotel was second to none without being too sterile. We loved the pool and jacuzzi after a day on the slopes and the food was top class. Great location too. Close to the centre of the village. 5 min walk to the nursery slopes.

Très bon hôtel, nous avons logé dans la suite azzurra. Chambre très spacieuse, personnel courtois, petits déjeuners copieux, avec un buffet sucré salé très bien garni. Nous n avons pas pris le dîner car l établissement ne propose qu une formule à trois services. L hôtel est bien situé, on descend la rue et on trouve tout de suite une superbe église et un peu plus bas, le lac Majeur avec de nombreux restaurants au bord de l eau. La ville est bien située, point de départ pour visiter les îles Borromée et à quelques minutes de la très chic Stresa ou d un superbe jardin botanique

Breakfast is too good! The train station walks 300 meters. Opposite the lake can take a boat. Bathroom accessories are exquisite! Staff is very friendly and introduces many attractions! The lake room is great

GGuest UserPor segunda vez volvimos a este hotel que nunca decepciona aunque deben mejorar la forma en que exponen las ofertas. Al llegar al hotel pedí que quería tener la oferta relax total que figuraba en la pagina web. En la mima décia desde 1399 Euros por lo que di oor obvio que ese era el precio para 3 días ( publicidad engañosa, sin necesidad.). Pensando que este era el precio me dijeron en el chek in que no podían generarlo ellos, debía subir al Spa para arreglar con la persona de ahí. Subo al Spa antes de hacer chek in; y le muestro a la persona la oferta a lo que me dice que si la podemos tomar. Me dice que lo debo arreglar en el chek in. Bajo a chek in y hago la gestión por el programa Relax Total. Después de un buen rato me dicen que esta ok y les pido para pagar toda la estadía. Siempre hago de esta forma. Cuando voy a pagar cada habitación ( eran 2); me dicen que el total de ese programa eran 1799 Euros en vez de 1399 Euros. Les reclamo que en el Spa había mostrado la oferta y que me habían dicho que estaba ok pero me dicen que esa tarifa es para otros meses, no el que estaba en curso. Yo ya le había dicho a mis acompañantes que tomaríamos ese programa. Estaban todos ilusionados. Pero al enterarme que valía 400 Euros más de lo que decía en la página inicial tuve que cancelar. Pedí para hablar con el Gerente y este me dijo que no iba a hacer nada; no siquiera una atención por haberse equivocado cuando subí al Spa ( que ellos me mandaron) y le mostré el programa a la chica, la que me dio el ok. Un Gerente que no sabe tratar a un cliente. Yo tengo empresa y si me pasa eso busco una solución. Ellos alegaron que si yo ponía la fecha me arrojaba el precio que decían ellos. Cosa que era verdad. Pero entonces , porque me hicieron ir al Spa para arreglar la oferta? Y si la chica me dio el ok cuando le mostré el precio y el programa; no deberían haber aido flexibles ? Que necesidad tiene el hotel de hacer publicidad engañosa ? La verdad que el hotel es espectacular. No tengo nada que decir respecto a sus habitaciones, las piscinas , el Spa etc. Todo es de primera. La cena que tuvimos ahí no me gustó. Cara y porciones muy pequeñas. El resto todo de primera. Aconsejo que cambien la forma de promover estas ofertas Igualmente recomiendo el hotel.

Palazzo Aminta is a beautiful Old World style hotel with impeccable views of Lake Maggiore. We stayed in a huge suite with a large terrace overlooking the lake. The rooms are all decorated in typical, ornate Italian style, with beautiful chandeliers and light fixtures from Murano. The staff was incredibly friendly and warm, especially the front desk staff and the head bartender. You feel like you are right out of a movie set frankly. The food, with breakfast included was wonderful and we really liked the family feel to the place although we were not traveling with our children. The private boat at your disposal is reasonable and takes you right to the historic islands in front of the hotel. Things to improve would include new equipment in the gym which is very old. Forget trying to lift weights! Also, making reservations outside the hotel was not hard, but there did appear to be situations where we were recommended a restaurant, and literally NO ONE was in the restaurant but all the surrounding restaurants were full. This happened to us twice. We remedied the situation ourselves but it does appear the hotel recommends some restaurants, regardless of quality.

The hotel is situated on a peninsula so the views overlooking the lake are absolutely stunning. The entrance & bar area are beautiful and the reception staff very welcoming. My gluten free requirements were met for breakfast, with fruits, yoghurts, eggs, meats, cheeses & a separate GF section with bread, cereal, cake etc., just a shame there was not a separate toaster. We ate at the hotel for one evening meal, but the choice was quite limited & we felt it very expensive for the food & service received. There is no tea or coffee facilities in the room (as with many Italian hotels), but there was a cold water machine in the reception area to refill bottles. The pool, seating & deck areas were immaculate & not overly busy. Our room was clean, comfortable and a good size. The bathroom, although a little small was clean & the shower worked well. The balcony was the best part & spoiled us each morning with the beautiful vista. It was a 10 minute walk into Baveno, where we found the ferry service, boat trips, and a choice of bars & restaurants. There was also a well stocked supermarket just a 5 minute walk from the hotel. All in all it was a lovely hotel in a great location & would definitely recommend it to anyone thinking about going to Lake Maggiore. Just note the transfer from MXP airport can be quite expensive if you are getting a taxi or private car.

I read some other reviews and really do not understand what people expect ..... This is a small and very reasonably priced hotel. But, yes, it is on o main road and so there is inevitably some traffic noise. So if you can, I would strongly advise booking a lake facing room at the back of the hotel. The staff are excellent, hard working, efficient and helpful. But yes, if you want a beer, you will probably need to ask the receptionist, but she will immediately serve you... We stayed a week and at the end were going to lake Orta for 3 days. The day before we left we decised to hire a car from the car hire ofice a 5 min walk away. As this was shut on a sunday. when we needed to return it and head to the airport from Stresa, Hotel Flora, with minimum fuss and at no charge, kindly allowed us to return the car to their carpark, hand in keys to their reception,,,,, and all this of course, 3 days after we had left the hotel. How helpful is that ? As well as being a 5 minute walk from the ferries, the train station is only a 10 min walk away, So as well as boat trips, we also took the train to Milan for a day and also to Domodossola another day, both of which I would recommend if you are in Stresa for some time. We never ate in the hotel as we enjoyed the 20 minute scenic walk into Stresa centre for dinner of an evening.

Excellent hotel, we were bed only so can’t comment on dining room. We booked for 3 nights out of 6 in hotel , a la carte, superb food good service, live music Very comfortable Slight issue with sun beds, no room on beach area, and sometimes around pool, folk reserve early! Very close to ferry stop, so great for seeing the islands. Once you get your room card, easy entry into hotel grounds, from port. An extremely comfortable stay

GGuest UserHotel with great location, next to Lake and ferry terminal. During checkin the receptions took IDs and told to come later to get them back which is unacceptable. Also no information on additional access to pool, had to ask myself after finding on the hotel website. Lot of bars and restaurants even in the same building. Tasty breakfasts, the best crossaints I had in Stresa. The downside is also poor maintenance of rooms, slow WiFi, AC control panel was very old and simply AC wasn't working. Bed very soft which is uncomfortable and unhealthy. If the price is attractive I would stay again but the standard is similar to 2 star hotels nearby.

Excellent for several reasons: 1) free parking, true is not so easy to find but just a moment of calm is located; 2) two steps from the historic centre of Stresa and two steps from the long lake; 3) comfortable for services, (i) a clean, comfortable, suitable for a walking home.

Struttura in ottima posizione, comoda per chi decide di usare i traghetti per visitare le isole. Ampie zone comuni compresa una piscina interna. La camera matrimoniale standard in cui abbiamo soggiornato era confortevole con aria condizionata, tv e tapparelle elettriche. Colazione inclusa molto buona. Unica pecca all’arrivo in camera abbiamo trovato un freddo polare causato dal condizionatore a manetta che abbiamo spento per tutta la permanenza. Voto 5 stelle soprattutto per la gentilezza e disponibilità del personale.

The hotel graciously allowed us to check in early at 1 pm, setting a positive tone from the start. The staff also shared invaluable insights on local attractions and nearby towns to explore. Service at the hotel was attentive and accommodating. We were particularly impressed by the recently renovated breakfast room, which exceeded our expectations with its inviting ambiance and delicious morning offerings. Our room on the third floor provided us with lovely views of the lake, serving as a tranquil retreat throughout our stay. The cleanliness in both the room and the well-maintained bathroom were commendable. While the Wi-Fi signal was accessible throughout the hotel, we found it strongest on the ground floor and near the reception area. This minor inconvenience did not detract from our overall positive experience. One of the standout features of Hotel Boston is its ideal location. Just a short stroll from the enchanting lakefront, railway station, and embarcadero, we found ourselves perfectly positioned to explore the captivating surroundings at our own pace. All this left us with fond memories and a desire to return in the future.

he room was clean and seemed recently renovated, the air conditioning worked well, breakfast service was efficient and all staff were friendly and spoke a variety of languages, specifically French and English, but I think I also heard them speaking German. We booked the restaurant Al Storno, which is run by the hotel as a separate restaurant and it was very good - highly recommended. Disliked · The bathroom fixtures were in need of renovation, specifically the shower cubicle frame had corrosion around the metal joints and didn't easily close or open, and the wall fixtures for the shower head and hairdryer were poorly finished - lack of attention to detail. Some of the light switches in the room didn't work, but this wasn't an issue for us tbh.
