La Torretta Bianca

When we arrived in Cava De' Tirreni, we did not find the B and B because the city exists of several departments. The host came to pick us and join us towards his Torretta. The room was nice. Everything you kneed is there, but there is no extraordinary luxe. For breakfast we had to choose between an Italian ore other breakfast. He had special plates and cups, had painted. Then the host took his time to show us his garden, filled with fruit and vegetables. he learned me how to handle my grapes by showing. He is such a nice man, for who the contact is much more interesting than the money.

No matter how many times I stay here, it only gets better. I love the peacefulness and view and staying in the new build behind the tower suits me perfectly. I have limited mobility so the specially adapted bathroom, together with the small kitchenette are an added bonus. I came in June when there was a very hot spell and the Air Con was extremely efficient. I came again in September when there was a cool spell and the heating worked too. This is an all-year round great B&B. What makes it extra special is the fantastic host Luciano who is genuinely caring and thoughtful. His father Vittorio is passionate about cultivating the surrounding land and using traditional methods to produce wine and olive oil. There’s always an offer of something that’s growing in the garden. The rest of the family are delightful too and very kind. All this adds an extra special dimension to staying at the 5* Torretta Bianca.
