My wife and I had a horrible experience at this hotel that forced us to reduce our anniversary stay from four nights to two nights. I would unequivocally not recommend this hotel to anyone. Multiple factors drove our decision to leave early, including: 1) Poor hygiene - upon our arrival, we found our sheets were ripped and chip crumbles were sprawled all over our bed. The room clearly hadn’t been cleaned. What was more concerning? Our bed had ants on it, there were worms in the room and spiders all over the ceiling. We couldn’t sleep at night and we dreaded the idea of returning to our hotel every night 2) Proximity of our room to the hotel - we were placed in a room that was at least half a kilometer from the hotel entrance and down a series of windy unpaved stairs. On the way up from check out, the hotel only sent one person to pick up our three bags. My wife and I picked up the rest, even after we said we’d pay for pick up. The path to our room and hike up was downright dangerous 3) Recycled breakfast - if the above doesn’t deter one from staying here, perhaps the recycled breakfast will. They serve up yesterday’s dishes to guests every morning. We didn’t have an appetite to indulge in food at any point 4) Location of the hotel - it’s very far from anything worth seeing in Amalfi and you most definitely won’t want to spend time at the hotel given the above To top things off, the hotel coerced my wife and I to pay at the end of the stay in spite of the fact that we’d already paid online with ***********. We effectively paid for 8 nights instead of the two that we’d stayed and the four we intended to stay for. The hotel receptionist (also the restaurant manager) would not let us leave until we paid and refused to call *********** to help see things from our perspective. Overall, this is a hotel that clearly originated as a restaurant and has limited familiarity with the basic requirements of how to operate a hotel (cleanliness, service, resource requirements, guest safety). It was our worst ever hotel stay. A stay here will surely sour any trip you take to this beautiful part of the world. Please avoid it at any cost.

Terrible!! I traveled with 3 girlfriends and booked a room with 1 double bed and two twins but we got 1 double bed, 1 single sofa and 1 rollaway bed. We complained but instead of switching rooms or giving a decent bed, they offered to charged an additional room. One of my worst nights i have spent on my trip since the rollaway was full of bed bugs which I got bites all over the place. They only removed the sofa and rollaway the next day after we continued complaining even though the hotel was almost empty. The food is not good at the restaurant! I don’t give 1 star to this place because the view is amazing and Franco the old man who helped us with our luggage was very sweet. Bad experience!!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Locanda costa diva. The buffet was so delicious and they have eggs and bacon guys! Not just pastries which was a pleasant surprise. The service is remarkably! All the staff is simply amazing and always willing to help with a smile. Praiano is the perfect location if you want to be away from the tourists. You can walk to the bus stop and ferry. Bus stop is a 2 minute walk and ferry about 8 mins. There’s a convenience store right next to the bus stop making life so much easier in case you need snacks or water or sunblock. Etc. I never made it to the beach area since I always took the bus into either Positano or Sorrento.,,, Oh and Fiorno di Furore is literally 6 mins away via bus in Amalfi direction. Amazing! You must see this hidden gem

This family hotel is gorgeous in every way. The food is outstanding; the friendly service is heartwarming; the rooms are lovely and the view breathtaking. It’s important to wear very good shoes and to be in good health. There are lots of stone and tile steps to climb and descend from your room to the restaurant to the beach and up to the street level.

We had our wedding at Costa Diva in June 2023. This place is simply brilliant. We stayed for four nights with our family and friends and it was wonderful from the moment we walked in. The area used for weddings makes for an absolutely stunning wedding venue, set across several levels on a generous stretch of the Praiano coast. It is also very reasonably priced relative to other wedding venues on the Amalfi Coast. We could not have asked for more and were very happy with how the wedding went. The team worked tirelessly and are very professional, yet very friendly and easy going. The hotel rooms are very nice and each room has its own charm. The views from each of the balconies are also unbelievable. The food at Costa Diva is also sensational and the restaurant is well worth a visit in its own right if you're staying nearby. We stayed here for four nights so had the chance to try pretty much everything on the menu, and it's all great stuff. We had the most memorable weekend of our lives at Costa Diva and are already looking forward to returning one day. If you're looking for a wedding venue, restaurant or coastal holiday, we could not recommend Costa Diva highly enough.

Hotel has a beautiful view and rooms had a view of the ocean with private patios. Praiano was a great location to stay, a little away from the hustle of Positano but easy to get everywhere by bus. Super close walk to the local beach also.

Visited with a friend, we really enjoyed the peace around and the incredible sea views. Breakfast was included and good, not amazing but still enjoyable with variety of things to choose from, it is a 3 stars after all. Not 5. Staff were helpful. The room with the terrace was lovely and so atmospheric, including the beautiful bathroom! The coast gardens surrounding the restaurant and the hotel were beautiful and nice to hang out in. A bus ride to Positano. About 20 minutes, give it take, depending on the traffic. You can also take a water taxi which cost 40Euros - from the nearby small port. We did it and split the cost, so 20 euros each. I would highly recommend that route!!! Stunning views on the way and much more pleasant than a bus. Would absolutely recommend.
