The hotel is located in a great spot a 10 minute walk from the old town! There is also a Lidl down the road as well as other convenience shops and cafes: can’t fault the location or area. The staff were friendly, helpful and let us keep bags in the luggage room on the last day after check out so we could make the most of our last day before flying that night. We had a free upgrade on our room upon arrival. It was spacious, really clean and nicely decorated. The only downside to our stay was the lack of soundproofing between rooms. We could clearly hear the tiniest sounds made by others; guests talking, coughing, floor boards squeaking, and their tv’s blaring through the walls: don’t get me wrong, this isn’t a problem during the day when you’re out exploring but it was a little frustrating at night time and our sleep was impacted at times because of this. Only reason it’s 4* rating as opposed to 5. Noise from the street is minimal: it’s just the inside that was problematic.

The location of this apartment was perfect! Very close to the old town and could easily walk everywhere. It was about a 15 minute drive to the zoo which was amazing! The room was very spacious and clean but a little dated and could do with a slight freshen up. The bed was two singles pushed together when a double was requested and only 1 pillow each. Overall, was happy with the stay and would go back again.

I wanted a place that was centrally located so I could walk around for most of my visit. Residence Bene was exactly what I was looking for. Not only was it in a central location, the breakfast they served was good. They offered a good selection of food including a couple of hot options. I didn't interact with the staff much, but when I did, they were very friendly. There is a small bar that is open in the evening, but I didn't use it so I can't say anything about it. The room was a nice size and clean. They use actual keys for the rooms which are also used to turn on the electricity for the room. It was great because I always knew where I left my key. The bed was firm, but I prefer my bed that way so I slept very well. You could hear a bit of noise from the hallway, but overall, I found it quiet enough I was able to fall asleep without the use of ear plugs. They do have quiet hours and I found that people typically followed the rules. All in all, I would stay here again the next time I come to Prague.

I do not even know where to start highlighting the long list of issues with this place. The only positive is that the apartment itself was okay - decent place, kitchen and location. But at this price point in Prague you can find plenty of other nice places that won't literally treat you and your family like garbage. Let's start with our booking: 1) Said kids stay free - not so - they charged for my kids and refused to change it. 2) My arrival was after hours - arrived by train a female alone with 2 kids (11 and 13) - we travel the world together and have since they were very little. We are extremely seasoned travelers. I received an email directing me to the address of the box with the key to the apartment. The key didn't work in the door! Thankfully someone let us into the building but the key didn't work in the apt door! Once again, nice people came to our rescue and opened the door and offered to call the manager. He said we were supposed to go to an entirely different building about 1/2 mile away!!! No directions, nothing but an address and with a foreign phone without cell service or wifi (and at night with 2 kids after having already paid for a taxi ride from the train station and bringing luggage to the 2nd floor) that's less than optimal. Nice people on the street gave us wifi access and we found it through google maps. 3) We went to the main office the next morning and explained the complications. NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY!!! Not a map of the city. Nothing. 4) Housekeepers didn't come day 2 - I emailed and they lied and said my do not disturb sign was on the door (it was not). 5) The next day we emailed the office when we left for the housekeepers to come. They never came. The next day the housekeepers used the key to barge into the apt unannounced and proceeded to ”clean” the room. They didn't even make the beds! I emailed questioning whether making the beds was to be expected. No reply. I could continue but you get the gist. 6) I asked for the manager to follow up - nothing. I asked again and about a week later I got an email from her making excuses for absolutely every concern I had. Such an incredibly disappointing experience.

In this era of tight labor markets, it is truly remarkable to find this kind of service. From the moment you book your trip, they reach out to help with anything you might need including airport transportation, activities, dining recommendations / reservations, etc. When I arrived at the hotel, Elena greeted me with a warm smile and a cold beer. We sat in the lobby where she checked me in, provided me with a map so I could get my bearings and offered suggestions and reservation for restaurants and excursions. It was so welcoming. There is someone to greet you and offer a drink or any help every time I returned to the hotel. The hotel is in walking distance to everything you will want to do in Prague. I was assigned to a room on the 4th floor (highest floor). The ceilings were very low and window was small. I am very tall and banged my head several times on the chandelier. The next day they had another room available on the 2nd floor with 10 foot ceilings and large, beautiful windows. They transferred me there. I highly suggest you get one of these rooms. Will definitely stay here next time I return.

One night in a single room of 700, but the size and facilities are not worth the price, the only advantage is that the breakfast is very rich. The rooms are small, the soundproofing is very poor, the old wooden doors and metal keys are used, the overall facilities are old, even if it is 500 nights, I feel expensive, but the location is better, and the Charles Bridge in the Old Town Square is still Nearly, but this advantage can be replaced by other hotels. In short, the single room of this hotel is not worth 700 nights, and it is very inconsistent with the picture given by the hotel. The bed is very small and very short. The whole room is under the table and behind the door. Two jacks are also very inconvenient and are not recommended.
