I am very disappointed that out of all hotel in Prague we needed up with Ambassador hotel ! Since day 1 and the staff are not friendly nor helpful though we are traveling with an infant and a toddler! The room is not clean either ! we have found a spider web dangling on the rooms’ ceiling ! The worst part of when we try calling the front desk , their phone seems to be damaged and they cut the line as they can’t listen . We had a 6 hours flight and we need to be comfortable and happy with finally reaching the hotel but this hotel is definitely not what I was expecting or hoping to experience . This is the first experience at Prague and I hope I don’t get disappointed further.

Extremely disappointed for a 5 star hotel. It was our second visit to Prague as a couple. We usually travel across Europe several times a year for these occasions. We took a junior suite: deplorable soundproofing, hair in the bathroom, dirty bathtub drain The breakfast is not up to par: fruit juice extra, espresso coffee extra, 2 or 3 varieties of tea in low-end bags, the dining tables are not cleaned as you go. In the breakfast room, some of the staff are not attentive and spend their time ”giggling” leaning 2 or 3 people on the cutlery unit. The vacuum cleaner was done at breakfast time. Only one size of pillow available, these are back pillows, extremely decorative but not very comfortable for sleeping, and if you ask, no other size is possible. Some broken furniture. This spoils an exceptional room, despite everything pleasant staff and a privileged location. In short, for a 3 star Ibis, I would have said excellent, for a 5 star this is not admissible. We won't come back.

This hotel is in the historic town centre near Wenceslas Square and Mustek Metro Station which connects to all places in Prague. Although centrally situated and within walking distance to tram, bars, restaurants and shops, it is an extremely quiet hotel. The welcome we had was so warm and welcoming, different to other hotels I have stayed in, there is water and sweets in the area and a lovely Gentleman at the door who gave us a warm welcome not just the first day but always had a friendly smile for us every day and the reception staff are very helpful, especially the young lady who helped us to get to the airport. We stayed on the second floor number 123 which had a huge bed, beautiful linen and plush pillows with cushions too, it was decorated lovely and had a fridge, air con and coffee machine. The bathroom was big and plenty of hot water and shampoo, shower gel, etc. which was replaced throughout our stay. The whole of the hotel is spotless clean, well so is Prague. The breakfast, well nobody could complain about it as it had something for even the fussiest of eaters. There was fruit juices, water, coffee, an assortment of teas, detox drink, cereals, fruit, cakes, different kinds of bread and rolls, cooked assortment and cold assortment with the most gorgeous cheese I have ever tasted. Croissants, small and large with chocolate and jams and lots of different fresh fruit, tinned fruit, yoghurts and a lovely pot with different layers of chocolate, fruit and yoghurt. Amazing breakfast, my niece is going to Prague and I have told her to stay at this hotel as it just hits all spots for me.

The location of the hotel is quite good, the whole is European style, the bathroom is very big, unfortunately there is no wet and dry separation, and there is no floor drain (is this the case in all European hotels), the door on the bathtub is only half, the floor is wet when showering, and it cannot be drained, except In addition, the equipment is pretty good, and the breakfast is also very rich. Booking from 14/02/2023 to 21/02/2023 for 4 people in BHG APARTMENT We overnight stay in APARTMENT 2 and on 20/02/2023 (dd/mm/yy) from 2 p.m. the water felts in our apartment so we had unease about hygiene and services (cooking included). We talked with reception and they said that we had to wait. At 6 p.m. we called again the reception to search for more information and we waiting until 7:30 p.m. They called us and said that finally we’ve been change our apartment with another. We were really tired (in order to not having a place were we could relax ourselves for hours before go out again in the night). So on, the other apartment was far from the first hotel; far from the central place (OLD TOWN SQUARE) where we want to overnight stay and of what we payed; and it also was in a place not really quite. The apartment was really bad, doesn’t respect the standards of a 4 stars hotel because it was really dirty, smaller, fetiscent and with no services (bidet, terrace, hob, oven…). We hadn’t a room from 2 p.m. if we liked to have a shower, we couldn’t! It was 9 p.m. and we really don’t even know where we had to sleep, where we had to go to the toilet and where we had to put our 6 luggage! The girl who stayed at the reception, Tatsiana, (and her manager too) propose us to have the night free and stay in that bad apartment, and also they will give us a voucher from 200 CROWN (exactly 8 euros) so on we could spend it for a dinner in the terrace with a special sit to admire the view! For what? If we’ve accepted, where we’ve to sleep? Certainly not in that dirty apartment! Obviously we said no and reject her propose (you can’t buy people with money or offer them a voucher from 200 crowns, when they are telling you that don’t have a place to overnight stay!) Over that, she told us that she was already called others hotels looking for a room, but they were all full! And also their sisterhood hotel and their presidential rooms was full! That’s no possibile! There are so many hotels near by Old Town Square! And a real hotel can’t be full on a Monday in February! Hotels always have a spare rooms! After 30/40 minutes a man come to us telling that they found a room in another hotel who was 2 minutes from “Hotel U Prince”! Weren’t it all full?! It was 10 p.m and we were really mad, tired and we couldn’t enjoy our last night in Prague! Leave and learn. I will never recommend this hotel.

An extraordinary special experience. Stay in the most central and beautiful location that gives an exciting sense of belonging to the history of the wonderful city. The unit we got was huge on every scale, foyer, 2 huge rooms, seating finch and dining area. Very high ceiling with stunning chandelier chandeliers. Very spacious toilets. And everything is equipped clean and authentic. Adjacent there is a fully equipped and perfect kitchen, as well as an impressive dining room. The view of the Old Town Square and the astronomical clock is stunning. The room is completely isolated from noise, and the hustle and bustle of the square and the clock is not noticeable. Moving to a room through the restaurant is not a problem, and the company in the restaurant were very friendly and nice. The need to check in at the nearby hotel is simple and easy, and the hotel staff is available to help and very professional and nice. In short - highly recommended.

Super location. Walkable to most of the main tourist attraction. Lots of restaurants and cafe surrounding. Closed to tram and train station. Grocery also round the corner. The hotel is pretty old. Breakfast is standard, not as good as other hotel I stayed in Prague before. I got a room in building C, which quite long way to go and need to change lift to get to the room. Good point is super quiet room.

We stayed here 2 nights on our way to Croatia by car. The room was big and suitable for all 4 (2 adults and 2 daughters 16&19). We made a very late booking and also had a ferry delay but the staff made all the arrangements for a smooth late checkin and also the parking for the car. The hotel is centrally located with walking distance to the center. Would absolutely recommend the hotel, especially for the serviceminded staff.

We spent a week here. The exterior of the hotel is reminiscent of the communist era, but the interior of the hotel will make you forget it quickly, so don't be intimidated by the hotel's exterior. The room was clean and very big, the interior was very nice and comfortable. We checked into this hotel with a Firefly voucher at a very reasonable price. The voucher includes hotel breakfast. For a 3-star hotel, this choice is very correct, so we are symmetrically satisfied. The waiter's service is also very good, our check-in and check-out procedures are very fast. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. One night we decided to try to finish our meal a la carte in the hotel restaurant and we were really amazed by the quality of the meal and the quality of the food. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the food is delicious. We had the best risotto in all of Prague. Recommend everyone to try it.

On the last night of the Czech Republic, I decided to set up a high-end hotel. The interior environment is good, clean and tidy. This is the only hotel in the Czech Republic that has prepared slippers. Hahaha... The front desk is also super good. We will prepare the map for us and help us set the next day. The taxi to the airport is regrettable because there is no calculation time and no early breakfast.

So far not impressed with this hotel. Upon check in, clerks were not helpful at all. Traveling as a couple and given a room with single beds. Asked if we could have a single larger bed the response was “ call house keeping and see if they can move the beds together.” Then got to the room and realize the beds are attached to the wall with a permanent night stand in between. Next, wanted to order from room service. The “app” which is just a link to a website, will NOT load, so we literally cannot order from the “online room service” — the only option to order. Tried to connect with the computer, and that didn’t work either. Also was told their is a fridge in the room and you can order items to stock it. Again app won’t load. Also no fridge in room. Wi-Fi is also very week. Zoom business call kept disconnecting. Only given one pillow per bed. Called down to front desk and requested two more. Was told housekeeping would bring them. And hour later, called again since no pillows arrived. We were told housekeeping is closed and they can only take requests in the morning. (This was all before 10 pm.) Looking for other hotel options for the remainder of our stay.

Stayed at the Praha 5 with my husband and two sons plus their girlfriends (all in their 20s). We were all impressed with the wide comfortable beds, the stylish bathrooms and the friendly service. (I was there on my birthday and they marked it with birthday cake and towel sculptures :-)). The breakfast was tasty too and the hotel was very clean. This area of Prague is a 25 minute walk from the Petrin Tower, but very close to a good shopping area, and eating out around here is relatively cheap.

In addition, the subway system is just steps from the front entrance of the hotel. The hotel set up our transportation to and from the airport; 25 euro cost one way. The room is large and simply furnished, plenty of space for luggage. One of the biggest rooms I have occupied in travels around Europe! We were able to experience a city view from the rooftop access of the hotel, they have patio furniture for relaxing; this would be a great place to hangout after a long day of enjoying the city. The breakfast was very good: cheese, ham, tomatoes, cucumber plate along with various fruit, breads, and eggs to order. The individuals working the front desk are hospitable, friendly, and speak great English! They were willing to guide us with directions, and help us in any way to create the best trip in Prague. Highly recommend!
