Beach Hotels in Potts Point

I really liked the selection of pillows available to me in the room. I was given 2 soft and 2 firm pillows and I experimented with them to create the best sleep support. This is something I have never found at other hotels, not even a 5-star hotel. The only thing I could complain about was the noise created by the refrigerator. It produced a high-pitch vibration every hour or so and each session lasted for about 5 minutes. That significantly disrupted my sleep each night. It might be something that the hotel management should looked into as I think this was an issue for quite a few travellers who stayed at the hotel.

Hotel location is very good Metro 2 minutes around the snacks, a lot of snacks to go inside is Elizabeth Harbour, a beautiful boat floating in the sea, there are couples, there are many gays on the grass on the beach, you, me, my invisible scenery, choose His hotel is a five minute walk with a pharmacy for two minutes. There is a big supermarket next to the subway station. There are fried chicken around. Very delicious. I have set four nights. The last night is characteristic. The room type is very good. The price is very high. All the central areas are not used. By car, as long as you are not tired, you will arrive at the Church Museum, Sydney Tower, Sydney Opera House, Sydney Art Museum, and everyone is close to it.

GD is in Sydney for an extended stay and the accommodation offered by her employer has suffered water damage so she was placed here. We headed in today to settle her in. Check in.. no desk after hours (read 12 on a Sunday despite check in being from 1pm. Everything was communicated well and keys left in the night safe. Do not expect to stop and drop anything off as there are no stopping signs everywhere, Thankfully I found a no parking and was able to stay with the car The rangers were deadly even at 3pm on a Sunday Room: Tiny but it has a huge bathroom. I suspect it was share bathroom at some point so living space gave way to a bathroom. Hanging/storage space- minimal, certainly only suitable for a night or 2. Does have an iron and board so one step up on Emporium Brisbane Self cater... bar fridge... mini bar was removed thankfully Fresh Milk daily.... nope long life pods, not even a long life time carton Clean .... yes Roof top: Awesome Sweeping views and BBQ, communal fridge but it is also the smoking area. Hopefully weather plays the game because otherwise the small room with a wall nearby may be an issue. Convenience: Harris Farm and a variety of small dining options nearby so great on that front. Coles and St Vincents in walking distance. Lift in the property so easy to move luggage etc. We are doing a meet up Tuesday so I'm staying at Holiday Inn and it will be interesting to compare the 2. Holiday Inn for Tuesday is $15 cheaper....

Nice place, good service, friendly people, very clean, there is a pleasant atmosphere since they share food, you meet people from different places, it is located in a good place in the city, it is very central

I stayed here this week for four nights. I have stayed at many hotels across Sydney, but Hotel Challis is now at the top of my list. Super quiet location, clean air conditioned rooms. Wonderful relaxing terrace to sit and chill. Close to fabulous coffee and food, and also the Andrew (Boy) Charlton swimming pool where I swam daily. The manager Nicole and her assistant Victoria are just wonderful. So very kind and excellent communication. I can’t wait to return here, thank you so much Nicole and Victoria for running such a fabulous hospitality operation, and for making my stay absolutely perfect. See you soon.

A welcoming, well positioned and beautifully decorated hotel. We arrived very early at the end of a long voyage from the UK. We were immediately invited to leave our bags with the hotel team, and given some great advice about where to get some brunch. On returning mid-afternoon we were greeted with a spacious, well decorated room full of thoughtful additions like some reading material, and by a complementary gin. Spicers is near enough the main city attractions and local restaurants to walk, but far enough away to mean it’s not noisy at night. I would definitely go back - highly recommended.

I’ve noticed aggressive feedback below and I want to advocate this awesome place. I’ve stayed in the room in March and then In June with my partner.I confirm that WiFi requires attention since it’s too too poor but I’m glad that while I was here, the management has been working on that issue. That’s true that Reception isn’t 24/7 but this is Boutique Hotel for people who aren’t familiar with term, it doesn’t mean luxury all inclusive Conrad by Hilton hotel that’s why don’t expect room service, 24/7 front desk service, towel swans and etc. In addition, beautiful and friendly ladies at the reception go extra miles to ensure that you feel comfortable and like at home. The room isn’t big but stylish if you’d like more space go for room with balcony and you can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea,which you may find at the reception complimentary, early in the morning looking at the Potts Point. Besides, LOCATION, this is the best,the most convenient location in Sydney! You can walk to Opera House,CBD or get the train to Bondi Beach staying away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Also, Potts Point has a soul and you may be bewitched by the spirit of this area. To sum up, don’t hesitate about the hotel, it’s gem of the area and you can definitely enjoy the time here if you don’t expect more than the hotel positioned itself. P.S. The first stop with my sister's tour around Australia, the traffic is still relatively convenient. The front desk is very nice and loves to chat. There is breakfast, milk cereal, coffee, and it’s gone late. I didn't pay much attention to ordering a mixed room when I made a reservation, but it was excellent for the boss to upgrade the six-person room to a four-person room.

For us Potts point is the coolest, Neighbourhood/village in sydney, this apartment block that is partly hotel, with its art deco charm, is a fantastic representation of the area, it is located in a quiet part considering it border with the cross/*****, we stayed in one of the un-renovated studios, however it had a quirky 70's charm, the studio is huge, with plenty of room, with a workable kitchen and dining table, the bed was a king with a extra single doubling as a sofa, all in all a lovely apartment. The reception staff, (jade), was helpful and very friendly, accomodating my elderly mother, she had a wonderful week stay and cant wait to come back, stay with these guys.

It's very convenient and comfortable. It's a bigger business than expected. The host is very nice, very convenient and comfortable. In addition, it is wonderful that you can use the microwave oven. Everything is good, but there are no other electrical appliances, but they don't need to be used.
