This is convenient accomodation to stay with friendly staff and amenities one would need for a home away stay. Only thing disappointing is i booked a fan room but was given a room without a fan and no reception staff after 7:30pm.. so it was a long night trying to get a good sleep.

The bed was not comfortable. The power points in the kitchen didn't work. The kitchen was not very user friendly. Otherwise bathroom very clean.

Very good experience at Ozzie Pozzie Backpackers - YHA. The managers were friendly and gave good advice.
We are a couple, so we took a private room, and it was very clean and cosy.
In addition, there is a lot of entertainment such as a pool table, table tennis, swimming pool, TV room and much more!
I highly recommend it!

Room was clean but mattress quite uncomfortable. Facilities showing their age. Also only standard insect screens on windowso not very secure if you leave the window open for the breeze

The hostel is nice, clean and the staff are friendly however, this is not an 18+ hostel and was woken up at 6am on a Sunday morning by children running about & screaming. As a solo backpacker who stopped here to break up the drive between Brisbane & Sydney I really needed some rest. There was nothing stated in Hostelworld about this being a child friendly hostel and if I had of known I would have booked elsewhere.

Stayed one night in a single room (not shared with other people). The room was on the small side but spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable. An air conditioner would have helped as the fan was not quite enough to cool the room down. Ozzie Pozzie is about a fifteen to twenty minute walk to the centre of town (depends on your walking speed). It is set in beautiful gardens with bright, colourful eating and leisure areas. Would definitely suit young travellers.
