I stayed at the Hotel Citadelle in Port Louis for four nights and could not have been happier. The owners and staff were nice, the room was very clean and comfortable (I stayed in a sweet single room which was very reasonably priced and perfect!), the location convenient, and the dinner delicious. Travelling alone, I felt very safe and welcomed there. There is so much to do in the area, this served as a great hub!

Excellent experience at the hotel de la citadelle, location is great, hotel rooms are always lovely, brand new lobby, and the new spa is a nice touch. The owners are very nice and helped us find the best place for our « fruits de mer » dîner. It is our second year staying at the hôtel, each time for one full week, and we loved it even more this year: maybe because of the warm mini « pains au chocolat » and excellent coffee at each breakfast, or the new restaurant now open for diner with a young and very talented Chef, and a prix fixe menu that changes daily — due to COVID, you need to reserve in advance. A personal tip: buy a bottle of wine and some local « terrines » from the hotel and enjoy a nice, quiet cocktail hour on the terrace overlooking the garden. As the sun sets after 10.30 in the summer, the cocktail hour can easily turn into a few delicious hours.

Emplacement, accueil, confort, justifient parfaitement cette parenthèse bretonne. Au coeur de Port Louis donc proche de tout. Un petit déjeuner fait maison. Une literie très confortable. Et un accueil agréable et disponible pour ce court séjour que nous renouvellerons sans hésiter.

Très bien situé pour tout faire à pied, tant la ville, les monuments et embarcadère pour Gâvres ou Lorient ou île de groie Marche à pied, vélo, tout est possible Et pleins de restaurants à proximité Chambre très calme, cosy et propre Accueil bien et efficace dans la demande de renseignement À faire les yeux fermés

Petite escale avant installation définitive à Port Louis... Hôtel idéalement situé, accueil très agréable, déco cosy, joli jardin, chambre confortable et très calme, excellent petit déj, petite bibliothèque.... Franchement, je recommande ++

Rustig gelegen, parkeerruimte vlakbij. Mooie kamer, niet heel ruim. Fijne tuin. Beperkte wellness, maar is een plus bij regenweer. Fijn restaurant met beperkte kaart, wat eventueel een probleem kan zijn bij langer verblijf. Goed geleid hotel, de eigenaars zijn betrokken. Een fijne ervaring

Nous n aurons pas d avis sur le lieu puisque après avoir réservé 2 chambres pour le 25 déc le patron, nous a engagé « gracieusement » à annuler nos réservations juste avant notre arrivée. En effet il n a supporté que je lui demande de retirer mon ne de téléphone d un groupe (genre whatts app) qu il venait de créer dans un but promotionnel-publicitaire . POURTANT, je prenais soin, de l avertir que de mon côté je recevais les messages et réponses de ses clients avec des données perso et leurs coordonnées !!!!! Je lui faisais remarquer également que je ne tenais pas à ce que mon n de tel perso que je lui avais confié soit diffusé. Je me suis donc fait envoyer paître avec refus de faire quoique ce soit , et intimation à annuler notre venue si je n étais pas contente , ni compréhensive !!!!!C e que j ai fait pour un hôtel 2 fois moins cher avec un super accueil !
