I checked into this hotel about 11:30pm. After going up to room to freshen up and relax some. I went to grab a bite to eat about a hour and a half later. Upon getting to my car I see where someone wrecked into my back door on my drivers side. I went to front desk to report the incident and asked to see camera footage. I was told that I would have to speak with the manager/owner being he was the only one that could play it back. I left all my contact details and vehicle description and location of vehicle during hot and run incident. I got a call from the front desk the following day at 11pm. I was informed the manger/owner had sent message to me that there was any footage of the incident. They have clear and good quality cameras that showed clearly exactly where I was parked at time of incident. I know because one of the front desk reps had showed me. So I know there is footage of it all. But the manager/owner refuses to help a loyal guest out in this situation. Leaving me to pay for thousands of damages to my 2 yr old vehicle. When he could have easily helped me by providing me with the footage. Or even let me meet with him to go over the hour and a half footage on that one camera view. But of course then I’d seen and have the footage needed to go after the one that wrecked into my parked car and fled the scene. Sure they have great security cameras on property but it’s not to keep you safe. Just want others to be aware because you never know when the unexpected can hit you. And on a property like super 8 on memorial blvd port Arthur/Nederland Tx. You’re not protected in any way! Beware of this property
