The most wonderful small hotel. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The rooms were all different and so stylish. The breakfast was outstanding with fresh cakes made every day. We had dinner once and it was lovely. The grounds were gorgeous and I would definitely return

This is a really nice hotel close to beautifyl Spoleto in Umbria. The hotel in the countryside with nice rooms and a nice swimmingpool. We had a suite - a family with one child - 16 years. The room was nice and also the bathroom. Unfortunately the A/C did not work really well so it was hot in the night. We got a fan but it was very weak and noisy. The pool is really nice with sunbeds. Unfortunately there were two dutch families with small children that were so noisy and that disturbed the calmness of the place. Shoud be a no children hotel. The breakfast was really nice and good. We had dinner one night in the restaurant and it was good.

We stayed three nights in a mix of classic and superior rooms (for price reasons). Classic is fine, but is next to a minor road so gets a little traffic but ok. Everything spotlessly clean, nice character, two big reception rooms which are v comfortable and a nice olive garden plus pool.

We had a great 3 night stay at this resort. Rooms are nicely appointed in a rustic old building. The grounds are amazing. Beautiful pool and garden area! Nice big living area in the main house. The restaurant here is great and very convenient. Close to Spoleto, Assisi, Bevagna and Spello.

Borgo Della Marmotta absolutely wowed us and really exceeded our expectations. The whole place oozes style and class and our room/bathroom (the hotel upgraded us to superior at no extra cost) was extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean and very tastefully furnished. The red brick tiled floor was a particular triumph! All staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast (in the restaurant) was consistently good with lots of choice. The hotel is located in lovely Umbrian countryside and Spoleto is only a 15 minute drive away. Definitely one of the best bases we had on our tour of Tuscany and Umbria.

An absolutely fabulous stay. Beautiful place, lovely rooms, excellent food and incredibly nice and helpful staff. I can especially recommend a massage by the talented Anna-Lisa. The best massage I have ever had and such a lovely treat for a foot traveler with tired feet and sore muscles. /Karin

Beautiful Umbrian resort. Room comfortable and clean. In the restaurant we found the worst coffee we have experienced in Italy, probably not from a proper Italian coffee machine. Options for eating lunch and dinner are expensive so unless you have a car your choice is limited. Public sitting areas, pool area, gardens etc are lovely but there’s just something missing to make it 5 stars for me.

Amazing hotel, amazing food, great location and gardens / pool area. Restaurant was top notch & waiters very friendly. Service was excellent. Self-service bar was great. Air conditioning good. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing time away with great food.
Our only problem was with reception - there was a very nice lady who checked us in but then a pretty useless guy (I think he was called Federico). It wasn't clear if he actually worked at the hotel or not, he spent most of the day sitting on the guest's sofa watching tiktok, didn't clear up any of the glasses and on our last day, he turned up over 30 mins late to work which meant that we couldn't check out properly and had to rush to the airport
