Grand Hotel d'Europe

Stay at the Grand D'Europe was an excellent experience. Located in White Town and close to Promenade Beach. The room was cozy and clean. The excellent food made us feel at home. The hotel personnel looked after us extremely well. That impressed me the most. The pool and the spa are also commendable. I highly recommend this to friends and family.

We really enjoyed our stay. Staff were friendly, helpful and always on hand to give advice and help with taxis etc. The standards of cleanliness and upkeep of the property were excellent and we loved the pool for relaxing after a day of sightseeing.

I spent two nights in this beautiful place. Which takes you to 19th century with its colonial architecture. The food was absolutely georgous and even the service was perfect. There is no need of getting into the usual 5* hotels, which will never give a pleasure like that. The whole hotel was in perfect conditions, even the rooms, nothing to complain. Just love this place and i will definately be back... Thank you

We stayed for 2 nights and we can only recommend this place!! Very neat & clean rooms with AC & Fans. All employees are very nice and helpful the whole time. They also arranged us a driver who could take us to Chennai. The food in the restaurant is extraordinary good. Indian meals as well intercontinental meals are perfectly made.

Stayed in this property for 3 nights, 4 days. It is a well kept boutique hotel with extraordinary food served. Its location is a plus point, walking distance from rock beach and other churches in the white town. Even if you are not a guest at this property, trying its food is definitely worthwhile.

I stayed for 4 nights with my family, and we were all extremely happy with our stay. The rooms are spacious and aesthetic. Food is amazing. Services impeccable. The beach is at a 5 minute walk, so easy to catch thr sunrises and sunsets. Evening stroll will help you get all your Instagram worthy pictures. Loved our stay here.

The hotel property is super aesthetic and oozes luxury. Their lobby and restaurant blast AC in such hot and humid weather that it refreshes you instantly. The staff is so courteous and friendly and always goes an extra mile to make their guests comfortable. Shoutout to Mr Rajesh and Mr Muruganantham who catered to our needs and made sure we had the absolute best experience. The location of the hotel is a 11/10!!! It's right next to all the tourist attractions and famous cafes! Literally walkable! The rooms are vintage luxury, super spacious and very clean. Their swimming pool is great too! Very clean and very maintained. It's honestly very inviting! The restaurant, Mira had our heart. Mr Muruganantham, the restaurant ***ager ***** with all the staff went an extra mile to make our dining experience simply the best! Their food is delicious! We were a sucker for their piri piri fries and cold coffee especially. The have a breakfast buffet spread on weekends and set menu ala carte on weekdays for breakfast. The food is delicious and savory. All in all a 10/10 recommend and great experience! Highly recommended for couples and families!

Extremely neat and tidy.. Its a new property comparatively (Refurbished in 2021/22).. The staff are well ***nered and courteous.. Perfect location in the middle of White town.. Lots of cafes all around.. The promenade is a few minutes walk from the hotel.. Large rooms with high ceilings.. All in all, a very good experience and I would highly recommend this place..

Lovely, tranquil, and efficiently run hotel with a delightful pool area. The staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating, and the maintenance standards are top-notch. However, rooms facing the street may experience some noise, while those overlooking the pool offer true serenity. A suggestion for improvement would be to install a light wall between the elevator doors and the sunbeds next to it in the pool area and have maybe a small table to put your book/phone on. Additionally, the restaurant could be warmer, so it's advisable to bring a jacket as they keep it TOO cool (therefore I avoided eating lunch and dinner there, but you can get great pizza in the garden or exceptional food at Villa Shanti which is almost next door). Apart from these truly minor issues, the hotel is excellent overall. I highly recommend it!!! While it may not offer extravagant luxury, it provides a comfortable and refined simple luxury suitable for business trips or ro***tic getaways. Truly, everything you need is readily available. Breakfast is great! Secret: The rooftop is a great area to work alone during the day! Almost no one goes there! This is like a remote work paradise! I ended up using it for several days! Hotel internet speed is great! ... and don't miss out on trying the fresh juices from the restaurant!
