Surf & Sand Hotel

This is a nice little place to stay and right accross the street from the beach. It’s equipped nicely for longer stays too.

The rooms are exceptionally spacious with an open floor plan. They’re very clean, and very well maintained… directly across the street from the ocean and an excellent swimming pool on property that gets sun throughout the day

For the price it was a good place for a weekend. Beds aren’t the best and you can hear lots of noise from other rooms but parking is free and easy and you can walk to most things in the area

This will be an honest review. The good: The room was clean but the floors did seem sticky ( I think it was the soap they use to clean?) The location was good and parking was good. I text for the room to be cleaned and they came right away. The Bad: Our air conditioner remote went out after office hours. I text but no response. There really needs to be an after hours emergency number provided. There was no way to operate the unit that I could see without the remote. TV was just a smart TV- No cable provided. The lights outside the complex were not turned on. We had to get a flashlight so we were able to punch in the numbers on the keypad on our door to open our room at night. This also made going downstairs very difficult when dark. The bathroom is tiny and has the only mirror in the entire unit. They really need more mirrors ( maybe a full length one somewhere?) No place to put my luggage. We had to put in on the table in the main living area. There was a huge walk in closet with a few hangers but no dresser or luggage rack to put your luggage on. Had to live out of my suitcase for our stay. Sand everywhere after you go to the beach. There needs to be a rug at the front door to step in on to remove your shoes. The floors are all tile so that sand goes everywhere and as this seems to be a cross between a hotel and condo there was no broom in the room to clean up the sand. Neutral: I left my coat in the closet. No offer to ship even at my expense.

The room was very nice comfortable bed up to date. Didn’t like I couldn’t control the air and the volume of the tv.

I really loved our stay here, staff was friendly and the room was very clean. Check in and out is at specific times by phone because the staff has multiple properties and isn't always present. Right across the street from the beach and can't beat this for the price. They do place a $200 hold on your card once you check in but you get it right back promptly after checking out. Overall great experience and I recommend if you're looking to save money on a room. Had a Roku TV which was a nice touch.

Great area.. right across from the ocean.. close to restaurants and shopping... The rooms really need a furniture makeover.. hardly any furnishings in the room other than a small table with 2 plastics seats.. there were no seats outside the room.. so the 2 plastic seats had to be brought outside. .. workers were very nice..

It’s a little weird, it’s a converted condo with an office that isn’t staffed. There’s a sign with a number that no one answers, and no one ever called me back. Don’t try to get there early because like I said, no one is there and they don’t call back. Checking out is a group text with you and everyone else that’s staying there. So if you’re uncomfortable with strangers getting your number, you might want to look elsewhere. Room was nice enough, and clean, just a strange way of running a hotel
