Banana Moon

The hotel is located about 300 m from the sea across the road. The quality matches the price. Room cleaning is mediocre. There is a swimming pool, which was cleaned only once during the week of our stay. The whole impression of the vacation was spoiled by breakfast, or rather a parody of it. There are only a couple of restaurants in the vicinity, and not cheap ones, and there are no stoves in the rooms, despite the fact that *********** positions this hotel with a kitchen in the room. The only kitchen utensils are a refrigerator and an electric kettle. Coffee and tea in the common “bar” are free at any time. Beach towels are provided free of charge and without a deposit. On the nearest beach, sun loungers are paid, but if you order something at the bar, they only take money for the order. I will not return to this hotel again

Very nice and friendly place. I had a room with sea view and the surrounding of the swimming pool was pretty relaxing. I enjoyed it a lot. Also the sea is 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Also wonderful beaches in very close distances by car!

My wife and I among plethora of our guests, chose to stay in Banana Moon as we hosted our wedding ceremony in Rethymno. Hand on heart, we couldn’t have found a better place to stay as everything was centred around us. Dimitris, the owner of the hotel, did everything in his power to make our stay even more comfortable and pleasant and gave us great tips and every assistance needed, making our stay even more memorable and special. Him and his team have been great in every way and I highly recommend Banana Moon for a very pleasant stay! We had great pleasure to spend our Vacation in Banana Moon. We spend there 9 days. You have to book your reservation with Breakfast and especially dinner at Paraplous Restaurant! It is situated very close to the hotel, near by the see. There is very very good food, especialy the greek salad! Near the Restaurant threre is a hotel beach and you candida stent there a good time for free. We spend our Vacation with two kids 5 and 8,and they were Swimming all day in the swimmingpool, it was not crowded, most often they can swimm alone, there was no other quest in. The hotel is quite small and quiet. The host Dimitris is really cool, he will help you with everything, he even print our plane tickets! He like kids. You can also buy tickets to Creta bus travels. I reccomend Elafonisi Beach end Breveli Beach! Few yers ago we were at Kos at very expensive resort, but Banana Moon is our Beloved one. I reccomended you also the room with pool wiev, you have your own small Terrace and you can Enter to the Swimming pool very fast. It is so comfortable with kids.
