P.U. Inn Resort

We came to Ayutthaya for a couple of nights so we could visit the old temples etc. Ayutthaya has become quite a large city, so this is in a decent location about 15 minutes walk from the park where most of the temples are, or a cheap tuk tuk ride on the way back if you're feeling a bit footsore.Our room was quite spacious, but lacking in privacy as we had to have the curtains drawn all the time because it faced out onto the walkway by the pool. The shower was pretty poor and a bit tricky to operate. basically you can have a hot shower with no water pressure or a cold shower at full pressure, so, we managed warm showers at moderate pressure. We didn't pay for the breakfast here and didn't try it as it looked pretty poor even though it was all you can eat. The lady running the place was friendly enough, but always trying to sell you something and doesn't seem to understand that you don't want to make decisions the second you arrive jetlagged and tired after a long haul flight. There are decent restaurants and bars just around the corner so, once again, the location comes in handy. Its also down a little dead end side street so it is pretty quiet too.
