Really wanted to write this review to thank Murray and his team at Glentress Hotel after a great family visit to the T**** Valley. Food fantastic and staff super friendly and flexible given our family demands. Will look forward to our next visit in the future.

Great location, great food, the rooms have comfy beds and hot powerful showers, big car park loads of space for loading in loading vans or cars if you take a bike. Staff are super friendly and helpful. We were going to arrive late so they gave us instructions regarding the room key and said if we had problem to call a mobile anytime of day. Its the second time for us definitely our first choice for the T**** valley.

2nd visit to ride the amazing trails in the area whilst staying here. Another trip will be booked sooner rather than later! Great hosts, amazing food & a sound sleep, why not book here and find out yourself, you won’t be disappointed.

This is now my third visit to the Glen-tress, first was business , a team event , then with family and most recently with friends last weekend. The hosts and staff in general are fab. We organised bike rentals through them also, hosting 6 of us throughout the weekend. Service , food, weather , rooms all good. Most importantly some great MTB. The new trails will be opening very soon which will mean a fourth reason to visit

Great service in the restaurant. Hearty meal after a long days riding the world class trails. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast is highly recommend. The local knowledge provided really enhanced our trip. Thanks guys

Very friendly hotel. Thro ******* I had ordered a double/twin room and on the request notes I had specified twin beds. Got to the hotel and only a double, but straight away the staff had a comfortable single bed took into our room Staff very helpful throughout our stay.

Really well set up and welcoming to mountain bikers.
It has a relaxed a friendly atmosphere, and would be a nice place to stay with or without a bike.

Tried to get a table Sat 3rd June 2023 whilst on a group holiday, 6 of us 50+ up for a cycling week. Was told no availability due to staffing issues, we accepted this as we'd turned up without a booking but place was practically empty. We tried to book a table for the following day, staff member shot us down instantly without even looking at any reservation list or asking a time. Business must be good as they turned down at least £200 takings and we won't be visiting again.

There were no hooks or possibility to hang jackets, towels or the like, and the space under the door was so wide, we had to put the extra cushons in front of the door so not to be woken when the light went on and off all the time in the hallway. Apart from that, a nice, calm hotel, ok standard, free parking, nice staff.
