I booked one bedroom apartment 3 nights with daily housekeeping but the hotel said the booking wasnโt included housekeeping. ๐

The rooms need renovations carpet, bathroom and housekeeping wasnโt great wet towels left on the floor beds werenโt made up after we requested

Not my first stay here and it's never let me down. The floors inside felt a bit dusty on my feet and the balcony had cigarette butts on the ground but everything else was great and staff are always really friendly ๐

Mantra in Parramatta was a perfect retreat for me to get in some last minute preparation for some important assessment tasks that I had the following day. Quiet, comfortable, clean and private. Would definitely be coming back.

Convenient location. Very close to Westfield and Parramatta station. The property is dated. Hot tub was cold. Room was on air conditioning but needed to have heating as well. It was warmer with air con off, but still slightly cold, wearing active wear and light jacket, max 26 degrees and low fan was still breezy. Hallway carpet is pretty worn. The King bed was 2 twins put together. The mattresses were old and could feel the springs - had to lay on a pillow. But I booked early so for the price I paid, I think it was pretty good for the area.

Air conditioner didn't work properly and the tiny fridge that wasn't cold, so not really a 'Comfort Suite'. The advertised sauna does not work and hasn't for a while, and according to a staff member this has been known for quite some time. We had to pay a deposit in case of breakages and mini bar use, although there was no mini bar and the hotel already had our credit card details, and 3 weeks later I a still trying to sort this out as it is still Pending. There are far better hotels and serviced apartments for the price.

While overall the place was OK, I should have double checked if dining was available. No dining , no bar , no minibar and nothing much in the area close by. There is no guide in the room as to services and restaurants nearby. There are no clear labels as to howe to scan for parking or indeed where your room is located ( Signposting non existent). Easy to end up in the wrong lift and part of the building. Im guessing that this is now the new standard of customer service ! The windows ar not double glazed so all night we heard freight & passenger trains going past 50 metres out front. I'll give 3 stars as the room and bed were a good size and comfortable.
