SO/ Paris Hotel

Paris|2.47km from Place Serge POLIAKOFF
I booked my wife to stay at this hotel recently and she loved it. I needed to be in Paris, and decided to try it myself. It is now the place I will always try to stay in Paris. The great thing about this hotel is that it is a perfect trade-off of price/location. In September, we stayed at the Faubourg Sofitel (also Accor) which is about as 'Prime Paris' as you can get. Right next door to the Elysee. For that, you got a hotel which was about 50% more expensive, for 40% less product. SO/ is central, but a bit on the edge, and for me that is worth every cent of the tradeoff. Additionally, the tradeoff places you right next to the river with views of Paris that are sensational. And anyway you are 5 mins on foot to the Places des Voges - this is still beautiful Paris. Other big pluses: - food quality is really high in Bonnie. We went for dinner and breakfast. Both great. Dinner buzzy, and possible the most beautiful breakfast room views imaginable. In summer.... wow. - rooms are extremely high quality fit out. Bed is incredibly comfortable. Just be aware that there is now bath or desk even if a room which could accomodate it - staff are charming and very well trained. - access by car is easy. Very few people will be driving (but I was). Access is super simple, and the valet parking v reasonable (about Eur40) - I didn't use the gym or pool, but they looked amazing by Paris hotel standards - I loved the design concept of the hotel. It is young and modern without being like a W (which I don't like... trying too hard) I strongly recommend. Thank you SO/ Paris.

I chose this ibis style hotel. I think that the Shangpin series has good value for money and comfort. The second is to see the guest reviews. However, this store is at a lower level in the same hotel. The room equipment is old, the decoration is relatively simple, just in time to catch up with the hotel to replace the carpet, the corridor is full of cement exposed. The window of the room was facing the street, and the small white curtain covering the window suddenly fell down one morning. The plastic strip fixed at the top just hit the head, but it was very light. When staying at the ibis Styles hotel in France, the store often provides a bottle of mineral water per person per day in the room, which is only available on the first day of check-in. There is nothing to choose from for breakfast, except for freshly squeezed orange juice. The subway station in the hotel is still close, and it is convenient to travel. The location is near the porte d'ivry Chinatown in the 13th district. It turns out that Chinatown has improved its environment in recent years. It may be convenient to eat some Chinese food here to buy something. However, when I actually lived, I found that the surrounding environment was still dirty. Some of the comments said that it was because of the small Paris side. In fact, it was not important to get to the side. The key point is that the area is not good enough. The so-called Chinese cities in the 13th district are all old-age Chinese immigrants from Southeast Asia. There are no authentic Chinese restaurants. The so-called Chinese food is difficult to swallow. Chinese supermarkets also have no decent domestic products. In short, the 13th district is still ok in the Italian square, and it is worse here. The front desk staff of the hotel is generally serviced, dealing with affairs is slow, and often has to wait in line.

The location of the hotel is very good. It’s not too far from the olympiades metro station and close to the Asian district. There are many good restaurants with reasonable prices. There are also many Asian stores. The room is not too small for Paris, but it has some smell as the hotel might be a little old. Some of the staffs are friendly and they can speak English.

Located at Station along the RER C & Metro line: Bibliothèque François Mitterand. If you are in the station look out for Sortie 4, its is where the lift is and the closest to the hotel. If you are on street level, walk down the street between H&M and Decathalon to get to the hotel. When we reached the venue, we are surrounded by lanes that lead us to diff restaurants. The best thing we discovered is that Rue de Tobliac takes us all the way to the Quarter Chinos!! (metro Olympiads) To add: supermarket, pharmacy etc were all within reach The hotel staff was extremely helpful at check-in. Over the course of our stay we Noticed that they take took pride in their work from the breakfast service to advising us whats best with a child and large luggage. Bring your toothbrush. Fresh towels are provided

From the price comparison should be a better choice, leaving our group to focus on the entrance to the McDonald's in the 13th district of Italy, about 600 meters is very convenient. The size of the room can be bigger than we think, the breakfast can be full, there is no elevator, the stairs are steep, we have arranged for foreign travel for more than a month, the luggage is a bit more difficult to get on the stairs, and the stairs are a bit nervous. Older travelers are advised not to order.
