Hotel 29 Lepic

Fantastically located hotel that, whilst modest, catered for all our needs.

The hotel is looking a little tired. Our room was really small with the smallest shower cubical I ever seen !! The hotel bar has a great atmosphere and bar staff are excellent Hotel is in a great location with enjoyable walks to all major attractions. Breakfast is continental and enjoyable.

Beautiful spotless Hotel in a very convenient area.Staff are extremely helpful. I can't praise the House Keeping services enough, the room and bathroom were super clean.The Superior Double Room was small but very cute and extremely comfortable.

In a very handy location in Montmartre. Friendly staff and super clean room. Gave less than 5 star rating due to the fact that firstly the room was quite dark and secondly the lead for the kettle was too short to allow the kettle to be plugged in when on the desk - I needed to put it down onto the floor to make a brew which I didn’t think was safe.

The hotel itself is lovely, located in a perfect place for cafes, restaurants & the Moulin Rogue just down the hill. There’s so a lovely bakery just down the round. Old tile flooring greets you, and the reception has a really old piano which is nice. The staff are really friendly and helpful. That’s unfortunately where the good ends, the lift is tiny, and barely fitted two people + suitcases inside, and we had a very basic double room standard. Room; The door only shut properly if it was slammed, and if you looked outside it didn’t fit the frame properly, there’s barely any sockets in the room, so we had to turn off one of the bedside tables to be able to charge phones etc, it was a very a room (even with the light plugged in by the bed). The bed itself was tiny ! It was smaller then a double.. after all this was said, my over concern was how warm the room was! Even with windows open (over looking an air shaft may I add), radiator turned off the room was like a sauna! Every night we would wake up drenched in sweat.. Another thing with the room is, you could hear everything in the room next door (and I mean everything) so the walls are really thin in between the rooms, but you couldn’t hear traffic outside???? Bathroom Bathroom is nice size, and was actually okay, the bathroom door didn’t close properly though. Worse thing about the bathroom is the shower, it was so tiny you couldn’t do anything.. it was hard to wash yourself / hair.. It was like one of those tubes that teleport you. We didn’t have the breakfast as it was €17 per person/day and there was a lovely bakery just down the road. Overall, the staff made the hotel, and was generally friendly & helpful.

My daughter and i have just returned home after a lovely stay at Hotel 29 Lepic. It is in a perfect location, couldn't be better for atmosphere and choice of cafés, restaurants etc. The nearest metro station is at the bottom of the hill and the metro is easier to use than some cities. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Particularly the reception staff. It is a great, quirky hotel. The bedroom we had was compact and had everything we needed. It was at the back, so it was quiet. Very comfortable bed too. The breakfast is continental but perfect choice and we had a lovely table in the window each morning. All round perfect place to stay for a short city break. Would definitely recommend.

Honestly the only reason we stayed in this hotel is because is right next to everything, it’s a great location, and the area is very cute and animated, for tourists Now the cons of this hotel, is very tiny, the beds are small if you’re 5’6 or over your feet will be hanging in the single beds, the heat was barely on during our stay there, and then it’s very loud. i definitely recommend for the great location,but if you’re looking for somewhere to relax while on vacation this is not the place for you .

Location was good with loads of restaurants nearby and the hotel was very clean, however it was uncomfortably hot in the room and there was no temperature control. During our stay it was snowing outside and we had to sleep with the window open to cool the room down to 23 C! We booked for 2 adults and an infant and as we understand it you should be given a larger room with an infant to accommodate a cot, but we were not given any extra space. There is no chance a normal sized cot would have fit in the room with us, and we were just lucky that we had a small bassinet with us instead.
