This hotel was very simple and fun to stay at with friends. It is an easy check-in and out place where you won't see much staff, but it won't matter because you will be outside all day anyways. Great stay!

Nice clean hotel
Would have been useful to know that there is no lift and as room was on 5th floor not suitable as a family room if you have small children or a pram to carry up and down

The rooms were small and quaint. The staff was great, even though I didn’t really see them. The hotel is nice if you need a place to sleep after a day of sightseeing.

This property is situated well and I like that’s it’s clean. And I liked that they have a storage and coffee place in the Basement. The only thing I didn’t like is that it has way too tiny rooms, you can hardly turn, the double beds are to small for two grown up. Thank God I was at this place with my daughter. And it has no lift if you are not well or fit enough, it can be a nightmare.

It’s not really a hotel. There’s no reception and no one around except maybe cleaning staff (who were friendly). The rooms are tiny tiny - no furniture at all besides a small bed that’s very close to the walls on all sides. Bathroom is a squeeze.
And worst, our room was a 6-flight walk-up on an extremely narrow and steep spiral staircase. Terrible even without luggage, so just imagine…

The location of Hotel So Marais is perfect, on a quiet hidden street but with restaurants below and a row of other amazing restaurants less than five minutes away. It was the perfect calm oasis after a day of site seeing. The hotel is clean and nicely decorated. There is no staff to be found, except a cleaning person midday; you’re sent the code for the front door and your room in an email.

This hotel far exceded our expectations. It is new and very clean. The bathroom and shower felt like 5 stars. The staff helped me via text messages and was very helpful, very impressed! The stairs are challenging, but i can't see how an elevator would be possible given the building's footprint. Very pleased!
