I first stayed here in October 2022. I’d intended to write a review saying that it was “fine”, a solid 3.5 rating. I stayed again in January 2023 and I’ve changed my mind. This property is actually kind of perfect! It’s not luxurious (it doesn’t advertise that it is) but it IS clean, safe, conveniently located and filled with all the things you need to work or play. This is a perfect option for those who want to rent an apartment but may not feel comfortable using one the big named private rental companies. On both my visits I was there for work and play. Half of my days were vacation days and I didn’t spend much time in the room but the other half were days where I worked remote so I spent about half the day inside the room. I rented a two-person studio. The space is small-ish by American standards but right in-line with European standards. It had separate spaces for dining and working (although I used the dining table to work because it was more comfortable for me). There are LOTS of outlets in the room and the Wi-Fi is really good. This came in handy because I was working remote and it was critical to be able to easily power my equipment (laptop, portable monitor, camera, cell phone and earphones) and stay connected to my work in the states. The bathroom is fairly large. There is a full kitchen with standard appliances and all the dishes and utensils one would need to make a complete meal. I don’t love the coffee maker in the room, but it’s fine because there are several cafes within walking distance and there’s a Starbucks nearby too, if you’re so inclined. The staff is very nice and extremely helpful. Everyone I encountered spoke English, which came in handy because my French is kind of terrible. The neighborhood felt safe. I often walked to the market after dark and never felt unsafe. There are two Metro lines within a 3 - 4 minute walk and there are many bus lines within a 6 minute walk. There are at least two markets within 3 - 4 minute walking distance and also two pharmacies. The neighborhood is quiet. It’s far enough away from the touristy stuff to feel like you’re living like a local, but you can quickly and easily get to the touristy parts of town. There is a laundry room onsite which comes in handy for longer stays. The machines seemed a bit pricey for me but they may not be. I haven’t had to use a laundromat for a number of years so the prices could be standard (I believe they were 5.00€ to wash and 2.50€ to dry. Laundry detergent is included). The machines do a good job of cleaning and take about an hour each. Breakfast can be purchased daily. Coffee is free. I didn’t purchase the breakfast but it looked like a decent spread with many good options. The front desk also has a small selection of foods, snacks and wine for sale. They’re a tiny bit more pricey than at the local market but they come in handy if you need something quickly after the markets have closed. Location: Wonderful, it's next to Barcy Village, a shopping area, with many restaurants, cinemas and stores. Along with a park and the metro station, within a 2 min walk from the hotel. There is a Metro supermarket along with a Carrefour there too. On a map it seems a little far from the centre of Paris, but its a lovely walk along the river and a lesieryly walk took us into the heart of Paris within 1 hour walk, or just take a 10 min taxi ride or a 10 min subway ride. Location is great. If you go into the centre of Paris then you probably looking at small 11-18sqM rooms, don't do this, travel out a little bit and get a room that you can relax in. Room Good size, modern, clean. Big TV, fridge, desk etc... Some bad things now, the AC did not seem powerful enough to keep the room cold, it kept the room cool, but not cold. Also, there were no plug sockets near the bed for charging phones, so bring a really long charging cable Bed is comfortable and the big windows provided a nice open feeling (note, the windows do not open though) Fast Wifi too. Bathroom: Big, clean, modern. Good water pressure, a big mirror with good lighting but it did steam up - but not a big deal. Has a bathtub and shower combined. Breakfast / Food Buffet-style breakfast with patties, eggs, bread, yoghurt, cheeses, tea, and coffee - all pretty standard for most European hotels that offer breakfast. Cannot say I was amazed by it but was not disappointed either - normal. We did have dinner at the hotel which was lovely. Beautiful salad and pasta. No complaints here. Facilities It's like a modern art gallery. Has giant sculptures everywhere, table football, ping pong tables, a hairdresser/barber, a cinema room, a BBQ area, a pool, spa, gym... it's a lot for a hotel to have. It's almost too much but it's lovely to have and if you are spending a long time in the Hotel then there are many things you can do - but we were here only for a few days so did not try out everything. But much better to have than not. Gym Some free weights, a yoga studio area, a punching bag, callisthenics bars - it's all pretty good. Set in the basement of the hotel and accessible only by 1 of the 4 elevators they have is annoying, but again, Pullman offers a lot of facilities Pullman is a wonderful hotel which offers large rooms and is a plus in a city like Paris. Everything is clean and modern with only the AC power being below average. I cannot say Pullman is the cheapest hotel, next door there is an IBIS but we wanted a larger room - I would book Pullman again, especially if they have a good price. For a short stay it is good because of the location and for a long stay its good because of the room size and facilities.

We stayed here 3 nights. Hotel very nice, room spacious and clean. I have to say it’s my second time in Paris and what a better experience check-in staff so friendly. We decided to do the breakfast buffet and met Erwan who was so nice and friendly. His kindness brought us back every morning til we left. Erwan was so accommodating and friendly. Then later that night we bought wine to have in our room and Denis at the bar opened our bottle gave us 2 fancy wine glasses to enjoy our wine. I would definitely stay here again because of the friendliness of the staff. Thank you for a great experience!

A great location, quiet area and a short walking distance to the interchange of railways and metros. Centralised location which make it easy for traveller like me with an active itinerary to go around Paris. The view from hotel room was fantastic that I can view the nearby canal and Eiffel Tower can be seen too. The staff service was great. The room was spacious with comfortable double bed. I love the smart controller using mini ipad to control the lighting, blind, curtain and TV. There is a nice bakery shop at the corner for quick bites especially for breakfast. Overall, convenient location and safe. Will come back to stay here again for my next visit.

Everything about this hotel was good, except for a non-functional AC. I know it is Paris and most hotels do not even have an AC. But when you come back after a hectic day, the room feels very stuffy and claustrophobic without AC. When I complained at the front desk about this, she told me to open the window. And not only that, I was asked to sign on a form which says that I asked the hotel to open the window and if anything worst happens, I am responsible. Really ! This was a uniquely weird experience first time in my entire travel history across many countries. Why cannot the hotel staff mention about this up front to all guests rather than waiting for them to complain? Location: Perfect ! The hotel is directly attached to the Gare De Lyon train station. Literally attached. We arrived in Paris by train from Zurich and were initially wondering about carrying our luggage. But it was just 2-3 minutes from getting down from the train in Hall-2 to the front desk of the hotel. Very very convenient. Even when we were roaming around Paris city, getting to the destination and getting back to the hotel was super easy. In most cases, Gare De Lyon is the starting point or the last point on the bus or the train. I highly recommend this hotel for the location. Besides, you have every kind of shop, restaurants, cafes and what not at the Gare De Lyon station. So need not worry about buying stuff or going out to eat as a last minute plan. Food: Decent food. Good taste and good spread. We found the breakfast at Novotel Paris slightly better than Novotel Zurich. I can compare because we came from Novotel Zurich to Novotel Paris. The number of items in the breakfast were lesser but the taste and choice of dishes was slightly better. But Novotel Zurich is a far better hotel in all other aspects. Room: Besides the AC problem mentioned above, there was another minor issue. The bathroom is by default completely transparent. You have to press a button inside to make the glass opaque. But even this is not 100% opaque but it is acceptable. Lastly, the bathroom door has no lock, which is also ok, as no one would just walk-in inside a bathroom. The size of the room was actually good, considering the kind of rooms you find in Paris. Three of us were able to sleep, walk around and keep our luggage comfortably in the room, so no complaints about the size of the room. Overall, I would rate 3.5/5 for this hotel. I hope they fix the AC problem and it can be very close to 5 star rating.

The only good thing in this hotel is location, that's why I still gave 2 stars...but that's about it. For the price you pay, they will not even turn on their aircon because it is winter?! Come on. There is not even an air circulator, the room was stuffy and hard to breathe, plus the carpet is dusty, so my allergic rhinitis was triggered. If you want air, you have to open the window, so you let in, not just the air, but all the pollution and noises ---remember, it is on the block of the Gare de Lyon--- people's voices passing by, drunk people laughing and men shouting at each other, banging and clashing of metal and stone because there's a construction on the side until past 12 midnight, and worse, after 12 midnight, you will hear sirens of ambulance cars every 10 minutes or so. Bathroom. You take a shower inside a tub (check the hotel photos), and the cover is just half, so yes, the floor gets wet. We had a defective shower, not all the water goes up, half is going out of the faucet below, so it is not possible to set the flow lower so you do not splash too much water on the floor outside the tub! It was such a hassle to take a bath. We asked to be transfered on the 2nd night (oh, yes, we stayed for 2 nights!), it was quieter, but still no aircon, or course, but better bathroom. Good thing the breakfast is decent, but for the price, there are a lot of restaurants inside the station and across the street that you could choose from. I am sorry, but I will definitely not recommend this hotel to friends and family.

The overall stay at the hotel was good. The location was the best thing for us as it’s just opposite the metro making it easy to go around Paris. The rooms are a bit small. We were a family of 5 and took 2 rooms with a sleeper couch. Not much space to move around when the couch is open. We found the toilet separate from the bathroom a bit inconvenient. Breakfast ends earlier compared to other hotels and was very busy so it was always a rush for us. The DIY egg station was not the best. The kids were entertained with balloons and meeting Mario which was nice.

I was paying close to $200 a night and I was there 6 nights. Only on check-in was I told there would be no housekeeping unless i was there 8 days. If I wanted housekeeping it would be another 18 euros a night. Excuse was ”its like an apartment”. Pathetic. I had asked for a higher floor in advance and initially got the 4th of 8, then was given the 5th. Not good enough. Paper was left on the hall floor outside the room for days. There was no non-skid mat for the bath/shower which was slippery. The TV was faulty on the meagre english channels and nothing was done to fix it. The room floor was dusty as wiping with a towel showed. Etc Etc. Staff were poorly trained for information. I wrote to the hotel GM and never even got an acknowledgement to the email. The room itself was fine and so was the breakfast and no issue with the location for where I had to go work wise. Everything else was very poor. Replacement GM is needed. Not good.

It only takes about three to five minutes to walk from Paris Gare de Lyon to the hotel, which is very convenient. Did not have breakfast at the hotel, but there are Starbucks coffee around the hotel, there are many restaurants, and there are also many restaurants in the train station that can solve breakfast. The rooms are small and exquisite, and very quiet. Considering such a convenient location, it can be said to be very cost-effective. The hotel is slightly outside the central city tourist hotspots. However it is easy to catch a Metro into the city. The location has many nice bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. The hotel itself is slightly tired but for the price of a nights stay it is very nice for Paris. The staff at this hotel are a credit to the Mecure group. They could not do enough for you. They were always giving good recommendations for places to visit including the best way of getting there. If I visit Paris again in the future I wouldn't hesitate to use this hotel.
