Room - Comfortable room although paper thin walls forced us to turn up the TV to drown out the neighbouring room. Room was clean and tidy but why supply a kettle and cups with no coffee etc... Partner wasn't happy about that considering it's a fully inclusive expense but hey ho. We were unlucky enough to be up above the skips so we heard that afternoon, unlucky and that's the gamble with city apartment location. Pool - typically very cold for apartment pools but down to personal preference. Not for me. Food - Basic and not a large enough prep area for a big choice so don't expect variety. Eat out. *Also on that note Globales, if your high up bosses wants to come down to sample the food and chin wag with staff then I would recommend them not double dipping with their fingers in numerous foods and sauces on view when people are waiting to enter the hall for their dinner. I wasn't even paying attention as I was wanting a quick nibble before my transfer but your lady boss sure was peckish. I avoided the cold sauces and bread after that - appalling hygiene practices. Entertainment wasn't for us and but again, personal preference but you are moments away from the beach and bars. Ideal location! The friendliest staff were the cleaners and waiters cleaning tables. The entertainer who organised games during the day was nice and we enjoyed her company, I can't remember her name but she is Hungarian. We had the key just handed to us upon arrival without any further information so that's OK, it's an adventure finding our own room and sussing out where the basic amenities are. Would I go back? No, and I would do half board and dine out as I felt I missed out on the local cuisine for fingered food

Palma lovely, location great. 5 people, 3 rooms. All left with an illness, which we are going to put down to the aircon (see images). Didn’t eat anywhere other than the hotel so could have been something to do with the food. Never went hungry but it wasn’t the best/warmest of food. Drinks machines forever out of syrup/coffee beans. But when working coffee, beer and soft drinks all taste great. Rooms clean other than the air con unit. Pool area is good but as others have said, could do with some back ground music.

I know it's an adults complex but I didn't realise that would mean no pool games, fun or music allowed. Served raw chicken at dinner, complained to everyone we could and no one seemed bothered. Manager even said some people like it cooked that way! Poolside was dirty despite it being closed for 'cleaning' until 8.30am each morning. Delores who works there is incredible as are the couple we met (shout out to Nick and Justine) but unfortunately nothing else about the stay was.

When it comes to reviews, everyone’s experience is going to be different but this was mine. Food: As I’ve read in other, no not everything was piping hot but obviously, It’s not going to say boiling forever. They had a chef there every day cooking fresh meat and always had different options of meat to choose from. Each night was a different theme i.e Mexican, Asian, Italian and I was very impressed with the thought that went into it. Drinks: We were all inclusive. They had beer, sangria, red, white and rose wine on tap for you to get whenever. They had around 6 cocktails to choose from that were included in the all inclusive section which is more than enough. Staff: Everyone and I mean everyone was lovely. I can’t remember the names of them all but the entertainment lady was so kind and passionate about her job and most importantly she looks after the stray cat that comes everyday and night, the cats name is Tito and she is EXTREMELY friendly, she will come and sit on you and cuddle you. The lovely gentleman who runs the bar at the back of the hotel is such a gem, very kind and friendly. Pool: I’d read some reviews about the pool being dirty, that’s not down to the hotel, that’s down to the people who leave rubbish and spill drinks without cleaning it up. Yes, there is always someone going round cleaning things up, but they can’t be on top of it 24/7 especially in peak hours when it’s busy. The pool itself isn’t the biggest and it’s a shame that’s it’s all one size as I couldn’t touch the bottom but that’s not the end of the world. Room: Spacious and clean. There’s a mini fridge and a safe but you have to pay for the safe. Wi-Fi is free and generally good. Rooms cleaned everyday but we had the same bedsheet the whole week… Entertainment: Morning entertainment was from 9am-12pm. Evening entertainment starts at half 9 with what we think was bingo and then the main entertainment starts at 10 and lasts for about an hour. The choice of entertainment was brilliant, dancing, magicians, singers, karaoke and quiz nights. The only thing I will say, is there isn’t enough sun loungers for how many people are in the hotel. We struggled most days to get one but that’s mainly because there were a lot of larger groups there the same time as us but not the hotels fault. You can tell a lot of groups want to say in Magaluf but come to Palma Nova because of the all inclusive ban. Overall, I’d say what you pay, is what you get. If you expect 5* then pay for a 5* instead of dragging down a hotel that quite clearly states is not a 5*. I would happily stay here again.

First of all the good points Speedy friendly check in The reception is lovely, smelt fresh and was immaculate. Information regarding meal times etc given. Given our key card and went off to our room. The room is good size, with decent sized balcony. The bed is the comfiest we have ever had on holiday, air con is good, if you open the sliding door to balcony it cuts off though. TV has several English channels which is a bonus. There is hairdryer in the bathroom. Not very powerful but does the trick eventually. There is a kettle on the room but no tea/coffee supplied. The pool area is clean and tidy. Sunbeds are decent quality. No issues at all getting sunbeds. The pool is never busy so can enjoy a swim. Soft drinks, lager and wine are help yourself and for anything else the bar is open. The entertainment I can honestly say has been the best in-house I've seen. We have enjoyed every night. It starts at 10pm so you can still enjoy a walk in the evening. Now the not so good bits The food is probably the worst we have ever had. Breakfast is bacon you could use as a flip flop, sausages are awful, cold eggs (fried and scrambled). Asked for an omelette one morning and was told no, even though was told this was possible. LUNCH AND DINNER If you like pork your in for a treat, if anybody can be bothered to actually cook it. Often there is nothing ready though I've been grateful for there not being any when I have seen other guests not being able to eat it. Everything is cold, not lukewarm but cold and definitely not temperature checked and not even close to food hygiene holding temperature. We gave up on evening meals and ate out. The staff are surly and not friendly, which is a shame. HOUSEKEEPING I try to keep our room neat and tidy so only really towels to be freshen up and the floor a quick going over, I used the mugs to have juice in and thought they would be replaced with fresh but they are still here. PALMA NOVA It's a lovely place, the hotel is ideally positioned, just off the main ***** of shops, pubs and restaurants. We ate out at Tandoori Nights LA diner and the Olive tree all very nice and good value. The beach is lovely. I've only looked at it not been on it, it is well looked after and clean. We walked to Magaluf one night, enjoyed a few drinks.

It was OK. Food not fantastic. But you will not starve. The all inclusive drinks are limited to what you can have and not a great selection. Pay extra for premium drinks which to be honest are reasonable priced Rooms are OK. Air conditioning didn't really work . Just wrong position In the room No music rule around the pool at and adults hotel We found abit crazy . We are not a young couple but would have preferred listen to some background tunes. All these reporting ****** around pool. In the week we was there . Yes we encountered stag and hen parties but they were literally enjoying their holiday. Not disruptive at all . It's a great location for bars restaurants. Magaluf and bus service is spot on from bottom of street into palma

Beautiful clean hotel , good food and lots of it . Staff were all friendly and helpful . Entertainment was good with Victorias energy, warm friendly smile she got everyone involved and everyone felt included . Bingo proved very fruitful with a lovely bounty of over 40 euros . This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed at the hotel and will be going back there again in September . Would highly recommend .

Location - very good, next to plenty of good restaurants, right next to the beach and all of the shops. 4/5. Food - Hotel food was atrocious. Was on all inclusive. Started to eat out on day 2. Even the breakfast was underwhelming. Bacon was abysmal. Pizza was probably the worst I've had in my life, way worse than even supermarket pizza and undercooked. Never that warm and not much choice. Should have just gone for the drinks only option. 1/5. Drinks - cocktails were pretty poor overall. But soda and coffee was self service which was pretty good 3/5. Rooms - nice enough room, good enough space, tv with a few uk channels. Walls were paper thin though and could hear the couples arguments then noisy groups every night. 3/5. Entertainment - not great, quiz was OK but didn't seem to be much going on overall. Bingo most nights though. In one week it was twice karaoke, one was just play some music and dance and one was a football match. During the day there were activities but they seemed to tail off after 12:30. 1.5 /5. Other notes - was going to be 30 euros just for the room for late check in till 4, given the hotel seemed empty it seemed very much on the penny pinching side. Though we shouldn't have had to resort to eating out twice a day for most of the time because of the terrible food, there were plenty of good restaurants in the vicinity, within around 10 mins walk, with O'Neills being 2 mins away, Iroko 8 mins etc. And bus to Palma was very close by, maybe a 4 minute walk. And a good sized supermarket only 2 minutes away. Overall score - 3 / 5.
