An amazing oasis just outside Palermo, which isn't the prettiest city, or cleanest! Nevertheless Villa Igiea lives up to it's reputation in offering understated elegance. From the welcome to our departure we could not fault this hotel. The service, rooms and ambience were superb. the food is excellent, and the service at the pool restaurant headed by Geronimo (I think that's how you spell his name) made every meal there an absolute pleasure . We had a room overlooking the bay which was spacious and well decorated. The evening entertainment is pleasantly discreet and great cocktails at the bar and terrace. While we wouldn't return to Palermo, as we'd try another side of the island, if you are going to Palermo, this is the hotel to stay at.

This is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever been to. Not only are the location and aesthetics perfect and luxurious, what truly made our stay so incredible was the team of kind, generous and attentive staff. A memory that will forever be cherished.

The most beautiful and memorable few days we have ever had. Our room was immaculate, the hotel and all of it's amenities were second to none. The food, the people and the setting is like nothing we have ever been lucky enough to experience and we want to thank the team for everything they did in making our trip so wonderful!

This hotel is one of the best we have every stayed at. It is perfection personified. Staff is outstanding, welcoming, smart and caring. Facilities are beautiful. Service impeccable. Our room was gorgeous with five star amenities and the location on the water is serene and beautiful with the flowers and gardens. It is right on the water and the pool was beautiful and maintained perfectly. The breakfast was one of the best I have ever had in Europe with both a buffet and menu selections. This hotel makes you feel at home and is an example of service at it's finest. American Airlines had lost a luggage and the staff made a great effort to help us retrieve it. This is the best hotel in Palermo hands down and the only place to stay. It should serve as an example to other hotels as how to be run. This hotel is worth the trip and you will love it.

Stayed here for a few days and missed it after I left. The hotel’s only downfall is the location and that can be immediately forgiven once you’ve seen the hotel. There’s hourly shuttles to the city anyway so you’re not completely cut off from town. The hotel itself is beautiful and the room we stayed in was perfect for our short stay. The pool had enough chairs sprawled along the walkway to enjoy views of the harbour. Breakfast was great, enough without going overboard. We tried the food at the poolside bar and hotel bar and both served delicious food, wine and cocktails. Service was never lacking, everyone was ready to help out at any opportunity. The restaurant recommendations from the concierges were perfect and were exactly what we looking for. I would absolutely come back here and recommend it to anyone visiting Palermo.

We had a 4-night stay at Villa Igiea in late June; the hotel is exceptional in the design, decor, team hospitality and food and drinks. A great place to unwind and watch the world pass by, only a short taxi to the hustle and bustle of Palermo centre. We really enjoyed our break there.

The service in this hotel is top notch. In particular Anastasia and Salvo made our stay extremely comfortable with a personalized touch. Thank you for a lovely week. The hotel is situated away from the hustle and bustle of Palermo yet is only 15 minutes via car from the main attractions. One can get lost in the grounds as it is simply a work of art. You can sip a coffee or aperitivo and just enjoy the serenity of the space.
