Wilpattu is better than Yala in my opinion. This particular hotel is right next to the entrance of the wilpattu wild life park and has good amenities. The staff are super friendly - a big shout out to Nelson who was fantastic. The tree houses themselves are also quite a novel idea - was a very good experience overall.

Gread location. Superb surrounding for watching the nature. Lots of birds spotting. Very close to the entrance of the wild park. Friendly people who will help you to get a plessant stay. Nice tree house experience. Good local food prepared fresh in their kitchen.

Great place, fantastic nature and helpful staff. Bordering the national park Food is good with both Sri Lakan options and western options. Fixed a great safari with a serious company. Room with a fantastic view of the outskirts of the national park!

Secluded, quiet, friendly staff, excellent food and right next door to Wilpattu National Park - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a tree top room. The room was clean and comfortable, and surrounded by nature (we had a resident frog in the bathroom, and a Sri Lankan Grey Hornbill would rap on our window!). Only negative would be that, despite staying 3 nights, the room wasn’t serviced - but to be fair, I’m sure it would’ve been if we had asked. Hotel arranged safari for us, which was brilliant - the young driver was very knowledgeable and spotted so many birds and wildlife that would’ve been easy to miss. We were lucky enough to catch a sight of a leopard, and also a Sri Lankan Sloth Bear ambling back into the vegetation.

It was a great experience to sleep in the tree hut rooms (2 floors high) in the middle of the trees. We just slept next to the rice fields, which was a great experience with the visit of the wild elephants at night. The rooms are very specious with A/C and fan and separate bathroom. All beds also have a mosquito net. The local lunch and dinner are really exquisite with refined taste and flavors. Continental breakfast included as well. All people are very nice and super friendly.

We booked both tree houses for 2 nights. Plenty of space for 2 families with 11 people in total. Very friendly staff and great food. The safari trip was wonderful, twice we hebe seen a leopard . Elephants we have spotted the first evening around the lieke next to the accommodation.

We had a really great time in this hotel. The people here are very friendly, polite and helpful. The view from the balcony of the treehotel is breathtaking and the food absolutely delicious! We strongly recomend this hotel. The Wildpark is just round the corner. An unforgettable experience!

We chose the Tree House Hotel because it's something different and we spent a wonderful night there. The room is comfortable and beds have mosquito nets. The highlight was the attention given by the staff who are fantastic. The dinner was good and they had our breakfast bags ready for our early morning safari.

Lovely little stay, quiet and relaxing. We could watch the deer and pescocks roaming around in front of our tree house which was nice. Staff all so kind. Food was good and they catered for my dairy allergy which was a relief. Right next to the national park aswell so very little commute time! Thank you !
