Mountain View Lodge - No Pets Allowed

We stayed one night here, bought the package deal with free breakfast for 4. The location is great, near south lake Union. Room is clean and spacious. I will recommend this hotel. One reminder though, we checked in around 8:30pm, the front desk is closed. We need to go to EL on 2nd floor. The gentleman checked us in smoothly, told us the breakfast time is from 6:30 to 9:00am on the floor. However, please be careful for the breakfast area, the Staybridge hotel deal is not on the EL floor. You need to go down one more floor. We ate breakfast on the EL floor and ended with paying additional $60. The breakfast service and food is very good though.

Nice place clean and comfortable. The only downsides was, for me, a bit of traffic noise, room location since its right off road. Since im not used to loud traffic, it me. Other issue floor of room is really cold, heater is a floor wall unit, took a bit to just get room warmed up. It winter and snowing\raining. All in all nice place to stay would definitely stay again.

Very clean - linens and bedding very comfortable. Perfect for a quick, one night stop. The owners were extremely friendly. The power had gone out in the entire town, and they immediately provided us with a high power lantern.

Very nice property, clean and quiet. Bed and linens are very comfortable. Room is nicely maintained. In room electric kettle with coffee and tea, free toiletries (shampoo, soap, lotion). I was in the area for work so just stayed a couple of nights, was perfect for what I needed. Very relaxing atmosphere.

Nice room with kitchen. Pretty basic set up that was well maintained and appeared to be maintained with care. No AC unit in the bedroom - it was not unbearable but definitely noticed as missing. Very nice people at front desk and maintenance. Good location. Quaint setting. I would recommend this hotel to others.

My husband and I planned a last minute trip to visit Mount Rainier National Park and stayed in a standard queen room in the main building for 2 nights. The room was modestly furnished and was very clean and comfortable. The price was reasonable considering the lodge’s proximity to the national park (15 minutes to the Ohanapecosh/SE entrance and a little over an hour to Paradise via Stevens Canyon Road). I appreciated that it was just outside the main drag in Packwood (while the town was lively and fun on a weekend evening I prefer a quieter place to stay) and a short walk to the river for some nice sunsets. Our room had a mini fridge, microwave, TV with cable, lounge chair, and small dining table for 2. The small AC unit worked well though the room stayed nice and cool even without it on. The bathroom was a bit dated and small but very clean. The non-carpeted floors were great. The owners were friendly and served coffee in the morning. We enjoyed walking the property and admiring the setting. We would definitely stay again when we return to the area!
