Hotels near Ibaraki Tei in Otaru

Have stayed in grand park Otaru hotel for more than 10 visits. Despite it is a bit out-dated, the sea view was magnificent particular in the early morning with light snow, sun-ray and seabirds. I always prefer grand park otaru to those hotels nearby Otaru Canal because of its convenient location and the availability of AEON supermarket and a few eateries even in the new year day. But for tourists visiting Otaru for the first time and don’t have a rental car, perhaps it is more convenient to stay nearby the canal and the tourists spots.

Great stay at Hotel Torifito! The lady who served us was extremely helpful. It was raining when we checked in and she helped us bring our baggage into our rooms and offered to lend us umbrellas! She also told us to park opposite the hotel for more affordable parking! (1100 yen for 24h). The hotel room was very new, bright, clean and spacious too. Will stay here again when we come back to Otaru!

we made a short trip to Otaru to visit some of its good izakayas, we took a room with 4 beds, it was a nice surprise the distribution of the spaces in the room. Our room had two almost separate areas, in the main area two beds and a couch, the second area was a small terrace with the other two beds, the access to the terrace was a staircase in the room. the terrace was a very pleasant space, even though it is not possible to stand in the terrace area because the ceiling is very low, the terrace gives an air of independence being in the same room, each bed has its space to recharge the cell phone and has an independent lamp. our room had an elegant glass balcony with a beautiful view. the shower area is very elegant with a fairly modern and clean design. the television system was fun too, our room had a projector with a very good video quality I really liked my stay at the hotel and I hope to stay there again soon

I stayed for 3 nights this time and the boss was considerate and upgraded me to a double room. Thank you very much! The courtyard has a very family Japanese classical garden atmosphere, which is different from the feeling of an ordinary hotel. It is nice to have hand-brewed coffee in the public area. The boss is very nice and communicates entirely in Chinese, so there is no need to worry about language communication.

You can go skiing just ten minutes' walk away. The room is really big. Although there is no separate bathroom, there is a large bathhouse with two pools, one indoors and one outdoor. However, you need to pay to order for dinner and make a reservation for breakfast, so you need to pay attention. In addition, the surrounding area is really deserted. The nearest convenience store is four or five bus stops away. If you want to save money, you can get some bento or instant noodles before going. There is a refrigerator, kettle, and microwave in the room. You need to ask the hotel staff. , generally there will be.

I almost always take care of Mr. Ocent when I go to Otaru. I usually book a twin room, but this time I used travel support, so I rushed to make it a deluxe twin. It was nice and awesome, but it's a little disappointing that a new hotel was built nearby and the view on the sea side was blocked. The staff at the front desk and lounge were also very polite. The cleaning staff passing each other through the corridor 々 and greetings are very pleasant (the same every time I stay) It is convenient to go anywhere for meals and sightseeing. You can go through the arcade to Otaru Station, so it's very helpful when the weather is bad. The food in the hotel is very delicious and it's a really recommended hotel.

This hotel is full of tourism, the public bath is not enough space to shower, need to wait for people to finish. This is first time need to take turn to shower. the facility is not new, the only best thing for this hotel is can see the canal.

There are two rooms composed of cargo boxes, divided into two buildings: the main building and the annex. The front desk (service until 9 pm) and self-service check-in are located in the main building. Towels, slippers and toiletries are provided, and bottled water is provided when you check in. If you stay for more than one day, unless you request service, the room will generally not be cleaned and bottled water will be added, but toiletries can be obtained by yourself. Overall the room is clean, but there are impurities in the water supply system, the tap water is a bit turbid and may need to be cleaned, and the sound insulation is not good. There are drink vending machines in the main building, and there are microwaves and smoking rooms on the second floor of the main building and the annex. For some reason, the room in the main hotel is colder and does not have an electric toilet seat, but the annex hotel is warmer and has an electric toilet seat. What is commendable is that there are mobile phone chargers and charging cables for self-borrowing. The parking lot is not large, but it is enough to meet the demand, and you can park as long as it does not block the road. I think living here is more convenient if you have a car, but if you don't have a car, you can also walk to nearby attractions. The price is already very attractive and I will stay here again next time I have the chance!

　I have stayed in Otaru town several times, but this time I stopped by Otaru Tenguyama Ropeway to get a panoramic view of Otaru City from a high place, and then moved sideways and arrived at the hotel. I parked my car in the parking space near the entrance. When you enter the entrance, there is an automatic thermometer, spray the disinfectant in your hand, and take a break in front of the front desk to wait in line. I entered the twin room in room 2809 on the 8th floor. The indoor facilities were as complete as the general hotel. From the window, I could see the road next to the hotel and the nearby mountains. A friend who lives in Sapporo booked dinner at the restaurant on the first floor in front of the hotel front desk, so I had a dinner with my friends. It wasn't crowded, so I was able to enjoy the course meal slowly while talking. There was an indoor pool and fitness in the building, but it was not available because it was only one night. Many school excursion students stayed there, so there were quite a few young people at the souvenir shop. Breakfast was buffet style at the restaurant on the 2 floor. I was full because I had a lot of food. I went to the public bath first thing in the morning, but there were few people and I put it in comfortably. After checking out and leaving the hotel, I climbed up and saw the loop road, the Asatogawa Dam and the autumn leaves, and then went home. It was a wasteful resort type hotel for one night.

Is a very busy hotel, staffs in reception looks tired all the times 😅 (no greeting upon check in no good bye upon go out). But the hotel itself is worth 5 stars. - location opposite JR station 5 stars - walking distance to Otaru canal 5 stars - Onsen available with small treats / amenities (microwave) very thoughtful more than 5 stars - room sound / noise proof is very good. Can’t hear the noice from corridor or next door or top room ( which I have this sound issue at other hotels when staying in other Hokkaido hotel for 10 days ) - recommended hotel will come back again
