Comfort Inn & Suites Tigard Near Washington Square

Filed a DOJ/Civil Rights Discrimination Div complaint as they had no parking available for those having a Disabled Parking placard. When asked where the parking was, directed to the very end of the building, outside as far as one can get from the entrance. Staff seemed totally unconcerned and/or uncaring they had no reasonable accommodation. My key card was invalidated multiple times and when asked why, claimed use error, until she finally admitted they often only validated for a day, regardless of LOS. I was in Room 114. Big tear in rug where it met tile. I pointed it out but nothing was done. One could see up to 1/3" gap around door so very noisy. One night, employee was using a shop vac to clean the ice machine. when I asked what she was doing and why, she said she was "cleaning." I asked her if she could "clean" during the day, not at 10 pm at night. I could go on, multiple rude and unpleasant interactions with staff. Sold me laundry detergent, told me about needing quarters, but failed to mention dryer broken. The house cleaning staff were amazing, friendly and went above and beyond.

It was my first time coming to Oregon and my first time staying at comfort inn. I’m glad to have chosen this place because it was convenient, clean, and the staff was awesome! Thank you for the experience!!

Hotel is not great condition,inside noise from lobby,noise from streets ,heat sound like aeroplane wrong controled do not take 105 room noisy cold ,last time rent ,positive is close shopping center

Staff was excellent. Easy and early check in was convenient for me. Room was clean and nice. Parking lot was treacherous to walk due to ice and snow and was not adequately cleared. No marked handicap parking stalls and I just had hip replacement so I had to navigate walking on the ice. It was day 5 of ice conditions so there was ample time to address that problem. There were two wall heaters in the suite (the room was cold) and the heater circuit breaker kept tripping in room 418. I finally figured out if I only ran one at a time it would not trip the breaker. Staff was prompt when I requested they reset breaker.

I have a Yorkshire who is my emotional support, she is my everything. I paid $86 for the room and had to pay $40 for my Yorkshire, I thought the price was abusive. Normally I don't pay, but other hotels charge in the range of $15, $20. I was very indignant. I hope I never stay in this hotel again.

The room was amazingly clean and had many comforts of home. The hotel is older as you can tell from the carpets and the elevator. The elevator was very loud and when it came to the floor, it jolts into position for the door to open and line up with the floor. Some of the people staying there definitely keep you on edge. Very erratic behaviors making a person very nervous about what they might do. From talking to imaginary people to violently ****ing their bodies. They are under staffed and notify you of this upon checking in. I totally understand that, however when it came to me checking out, no one was around to assist me with that.

The front door of the room had a huge gap between the door bolt and the door jam. While the door still locked, there was visibility into/out of the room/hallway. It felt unsafe. Also, the heater when off and when speaking to the front desk they asked that the temp be set no higher than 70° and the fan set to ‘low’ or it blows the breaker. Finally, several questionable people loitered around the property while in their cars smoking.

Ear plugs needed to sleep on 1st floor due to people talking in lobby late at night. Noise carried down hallways. Engineering needs to fix loose toilet seat and bathroom door knob on 106.

The property needs basic, ongoing maintenance. The faucets are loose in the sink, the shower pan is dirty and needs replacement or a thorough cleaning, the drapes are worn and ripped, and the elevator ****s and bounces when moving upwards.
