Gitavillage Talamone

We stayed in a cottage for 3 nights. Relaxing, beautiful, organized and clean place. The cottage is cozy with panoramic views. In the structure there are creative activities for children from 4pm to 6pm where they do very nice crafts, my girls had a lot of fun. Swimming pool with spectacular views! I recommend to everyone! WE DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING IN THE STRUCTURE FOR SCHOOL CAMPS, 4 DAYS, POOR MEALS, FOREIGN BODIES ON PLATES (NAILS, PLASTIC, HAIR, HAIR) LOW QUALITY FOOD, SOUR TOMATO, UNCOOKED MEAT (SAUSAGES/HAMBURGERS) STALE BREAD, MINIMAL BREAKFAST, BUNGALOW DIRT, DUST, INSECTS, COBWEBS, AIR CONDITIONERS SPITTING DUST, LINEN WITH HAIR AND THREADED FABRICS, ROOM CLEANING NOT CARRIED OUT IN 4 DAYS.. BEACH PACKED WITH POSEIDONIA, BATHROOM NOT PROVIDED ON THE BEACH, IT IS NOT A SUITABLE PLACE FOR CHILDREN. BAD ADVENTURE FOR EXCESSIVE SPENDING. Daily complaints were of no avail.

Excellent location a few meters from the Talamone beach (you have to cross a small road, which can also be traveled by car with the possibility of free parking in front of the beach (limited). The campsite has everything you need, from daytime/evening entertainment to the market, hot showers , laundry, dog run area. Positive notes: well equipped, cleaned daily, reception always active, dog beach with the possibility of swimming in the sea without limits; pleasant and never intrusive entertainment, in the evening they end at midnight; 3 swimming pools, one of which is for children The little shop of the French lady who acts as a children's workshop during the day and sells the items produced in the evening is beautiful, very kind. Negative notes: - disorganized beach area, the "first come, first serve" rule applies, which is fine but we didn't find it correct. in the dog area there were families without dogs (therefore with the risk that for those with dogs there would no longer be room because in the adjacent standard area you cannot go with the dog), only row with 9 umbrellas facing the sea RESERVED FOR DOGS therefore there too there are wars to grab the best places and then you find families with small children but no dogs! Note: the structures (umbrellas, deckchairs, gazebos) are paid for for those camping, free for those staying in the villas. Most people didn't pay, those who did and then left the beach found themselves giving up their place for free. Those who had the free structure stood in front of the sea all day leaving their towels even if they were gone for hours. For those who are not interested in entertainment or in any case in a private structure, I highly recommend camping in the coves towards the city of Talamone, it is more peaceful (even with dogs) and you can put an umbrella anywhere. - before mid-August too much chaos, especially in the camping area everyone finds themselves crowded together and there are few showers for everyone, above all there is no control so you find yourself having to wait for the girls to finish their beauty routine before letting you enter (moral: after 6pm there is a queue everywhere). - swimming pools always full: here too there is no control, from the moment the swimming pool opens there are people who place towels on the deckchairs (which are free for all guests of the village) and leave them there all day. - restaurant: the food is good, the prices are quite high but you know this is the case in high season. Sore point is the service: the head nurse is highly unsympathetic, responds badly to everyone, always, slow and poor service. - market: high prices, little availability of products, only for what is necessary (otherwise we recommend purchasing in the nearest city). In summary: highly recommended facility for those who want to experience camping with a village formula, for all ages, for those with dogs, everything is allowed (except for the swimming pools) and I highly recommend a visit to the city of Talamone, which is about 20 minutes' walk from the campsite. Avoid the pre-August period if you can. Animation

Friendly and helpful staff, clean resort, wonderful entertainment! with lots of activities and friendliness for the kids the top! Well-equipped beach, the downside is the expensive and poorly stocked market, the prices at the well-stocked beach bar are reasonable. Well-equipped dog area and dogs are always welcomed, which is rare in Maremma!!

A camping village without water columns. You would be forced to go to the toilets with jerry cans or use a camper service outside the campsite. Only one chemical toilet among the normal bathrooms with drainage into a squat. I doubt he had his own collection line. Old bathrooms and cleanliness leaves something to be desired. Dish washers as well. Sea and creepy beach. In and out quickly. Nothing to do with the Argentario Sea a few kilometers away. 50 euros for two adults. Expensive bars and markets. I recommend it for a stopover but not for holidays. There are definitely better Agricampers.

We stayed for 5 nights in the Michelangelo Comfort villa, the price also included the beach with sunbed and umbrella and all the services offered by the campsite. The place is really beautiful, everything is well managed, with friendly and helpful staff for all requests. The pool areas are very beautiful, well-kept and child-friendly. The beach is convenient and reachable both on foot and by car, the sea is very shallow and therefore suitable for children... The campsite also has a mini club with entertainment, with really nice kids. The only flaw, perhaps, are the evenings organized by the entertainment team... the music was really very loud until late in the evening and perhaps also due to the way the campsite is laid out, even with the windows closed the environment was noisy and the music boomed in the cottage. Nothing serious, being on holiday... but for those looking for evening relaxation it's not the best. Having said that, thank you all because we had a wonderful holiday!

We stayed the week of August, me, my partner and our son! I start from the fact that the bay of Talomone is beautiful, the village located on the terraces among the olive trees is beautiful too! We stayed in the Leonardo villas, comfortable, clean and with a panoramic view of the bay! I want to applaud the restaurant, we did full board and we didn't regret it! Excellent price and quality and I recommend it! Excellent cuisine prepared by a Maremma chef, the pizza is also excellent! The top service made us feel at home! I'll be back next year! Absolutely not recommended: dirty sea, bordering on bathing, full of algae and black construction sand that leaves color on your feet; sand where there is, otherwise I lie on the grass; deck chairs with the smell of dog urine; dirty chemical toilets on the beach; distance from the sea 700 meters but from the gate, with a dirt road, dusty and in the sun (+ another 700 meters to get to the houses with a climb that reaches up to 30% gradient); no shuttle; from the house to go down/up to the pool at least 100 steps under the sun! Swimming pool with very few deckchairs and even fewer umbrellas, people who leave their towels at dawn to take their place (very little control), daily arguments over a deckchair; children's pool on the first floor dirty and half empty, swimming pool bathrooms on the first floor dirty and without paper or soap; in the village prices as in Piazza Duomo in Milan 12 small pieces of watermelon (with white part) 5 euros; 1 liter of milk 3 euros, 100 g of cheese 5 euros, 250 g biscuits 5 euros... usually it's called trade, I call it something else... at the village restaurant, paper tablecloths and under a suffocating plastic awning , a first course of fish 18 euros; at the bar the croissants finished at 9.32 (and not just one morning); there was no light in the house alternately for 2 days. The only beautiful thing is the view but it is difficult to see it because the unpruned trees cover the view.
