A gem in the heart of the Netherlands. A lovely house with well proportioned room. Airy and light. Very comfortable beds in a beautiful surroundings . In good weather it feels like south of France . The restaurant served tasty 4-6 course menu with locally sourced produce. A good wine selection . A perfect place to explore the surrounding countryside and castles ( and there a lot) with the help of a cycle . Who would have thought Netherlands outside the big cities was a tourist destination …. Do visit

My wife and I had a lovely stay here. The staff are endlessly pleasant and accommodating and the room was perfect. Comfy beds, spotlessly clean, lovely bathroom and shower. And I love that we could leave the windows open for air at night as it was warm. The grounds are huge and beautiful with nice walks available in the Forrest or gardens. Just perfect really.

Heel vaak in zeer goede hotels/restaurants geweest maar de Lochemse Berg slaat alles! De Prachtige plek, mooie park, de ontvangst, de kamer zo mooi ingericht, alles is perfect. Het restaurant is super van kwaliteit, geweldige producten, het peroneel is uitermate vriendelijk en attent... Ik kom bijvoeglijke naamwoorden te kort. Aangezien ik met een rollator loop, werd toegestaan om de auto voor de deur te zetten en het werd alle dagen zo vriendelijk weg gezet en weer opgehaald, dit is wat je noemt Service met een hoofdletter. De vriendelijkheid is grandioos en alles wat ik hier genoemd heb is een 10+ waard. Het was mijn eerste verblijf maar zeker niet de laatste! Marlies en Steven, bedankt voor alles, het was een pure genot.

Jarenlang rijden we langs dit hotel ons afvragend hoe het zijn om hier te overnachten. En eindelijk is het dan zover. Dan wordt je gastvrij ontvangen. Een jong stel dat hun dromen hier wilt verwezenlijken. En dat is vogens mij behoorlijk goed gelukt. Prachtig pand, mooi opgeknapt met respect voor de historie. Prachtige locatie. In een woord fantastisch. Rustige omgeving. Heel mooi en gezellig terras.

Wat een fantastisch hotel! Idyllische, rustgevende en sfeervolle kamers en overal inspirerende kunst aan de muur. Het hotel heeft een geweldige tuin, een heerlijk en even zonnig als beschut terras waar we tijdens een zonnige borrel een voorproefje kregen van wat ons later tijdens het diner te wachten stond: naar keuze een uiterst betaalbaar 4, 5 of 6-gangen diner waar we echt van uit ons dak gingen. Zowel de carnivoren, visliefhebbers als veggies en veganisten die aan ons familiediner deelnamen kwamen royaal aan hun trekken. Wat een verrukkelijk diner en wat een heerlijke wijnen. Om maar te zwijgen van de verrassende non-alcoholische drankjes. Hier gaan we ons regelmatig laten verrassen. En, het lijkt wel een reclametekst, maar de hele staf van dit prachtige hotel verstopt in de Lochemse bossen zorgt voor een onbekommerd en gastvrij weekend! Ik ga vast vooruit boeken want de familiebanden moeten worden onderhouden! Tja, tot slot, je moet er van houden maar een prachtige golfbaan ligt op een paar minuutjes rijden. Ontzettend bedankt en namens mijn gehele familie tot de volgende keer!
